@m1dfielder gets a thing !

                              this  wasn't  the  team's  first  time  going  to  the  algarve  training  camp  in  faro  ,  portugal.  and  alex  had  been  talking  nonstop  to  her  about  everything  that  was  there  to  do.  which  only  made  davina  more  excited  to  be  allowed  to  tag  along.  the  weather  was  far  warmer  there  than  it  was  in  munich.  she  was  looking  foward  to  that  above  most  of  everything  else.  of  course,  she  had  been  lectured  here  and  there  by  the  goalkeeper  about  not  being  a  distracton  .  and  she  wasn't  allowed  to  even  attend  those  hours  that  they  spent  training.  valid  as  even  she  didn't  want  to  be  one.  at  least  there  were  things  for  her  to  do  while  they  trained.  everyone  boarded  the  jet  rather  early  and  she  made  sure  to  take  a  seat  next  to  the  midfielder.  for  three  in  a  half  hours  ,  they  did  nothing  but  talk  ,  and  steal  kisses  here  and  there.  of  course,  listening  to  the  second  team  'dad'  tell  jokes  as  well.     

             three  in  a  half  hours  later  and  buses  were  loaded  only  for  them  to  be  taken  to  the  camp's  hotel.  she  was  given  room  306  ,  which  was  shown  to  her  by  alex  who  happened  to  have  a  room  just  one  over  on  her  left.   typical.  though  ,  she  was  thankful  to  have  a  room  to  herself.   and  it  was  quite  nice.  after  going  in  and  sitting  some  of  her  things  down  onto  the  bed   ,  she  walked  over  the  window  and  looked  out.  the  view  was  beautiful  and  she  could  see  the  water  .  that  was  for  sure  on  her  to  do  list  when  she  got  the  first  chance  to  explore  the  place.  after  a  few  more  minutes  ,  a  knock  was  heard  at  her  door.  she  walked  over  to  it  ,  opening  it  ,  only  for  her  gaze  to  meet  his.  davina  instantly  smiled  before  reaching  for  his  wrist  and  gently  pulling  him  into  her  room  before  anyone  could  see.  "  lookie  at  who  has  an  entire  room  to  herself!  "  the  brunette  chuckled,  letting  go  of  his  wrist  and  placing  a  kiss  to  the  corner  of  his  lips.   "  wanna  go  to  the  beach  later  ?  "

      practice  just  wasn't  practice  without  the  two  of  them  causing  some  sort  of  chaos  for  the  rest  of  the  team.  nik  had  already  pulled  some  shit  on  alex  and  a  few  others  before  they  even  stepped  foot  onto  the  practice  pitch.  cleated  foot  rested  on  top  of  the  ball  as  he  gave  jo  a  rather  devious  smirk  .  "  wanna  bet  ansel  won't  block  this  one?  "  even  if  the  other  goalkeeper  was  on  high  alert  when  it  came  to  the  goal.  "  bet  you  fifty  euros  he  won't  .  "

"C'mon, no it ain't...!" Jamie insists with a gesture, his tone nearly a whine. He has very good ideas, thank you much and this is one of them, in his not-so-humble opinion. "What're you afraid of? Y'think somebody's gonna snitch on us or summat? Live a little, man, y'won't regret it...!" After all, what've they got to lose from something as innocent as this?

alex having his teammates over was something she was growing used to. having only been living with him and in munich for about a month now , the place was taking some time to get use to. not that it had to do much. she used to spend her summers and every other holiday for a while there , with family . of course it'd been two years though since she'd been able to travel due to her own life getting in the way. and she was just a bit rusty with her german due to that . thankfully , her cousin had saved her with a german dictionary and a few good reads that were in the language. all to refresh her memory. she'd been to her first game and it happened to be the one alex returned from injury on. needless to say , it was possibly one of the best experiences the brunette has ever had.

hand reached for one of the beers that alex left on the kitchen counter before having to take a phone call . which left her with a few of the other teammates. most moving to the backyard. and eventually , it was just the two of them . and there came the growing silence. at least on her part. only because the shy side of her was showing. “      ⸺ sorry i didn't get the chance to talk to you much after training yesterday. " finally , vina spoke up . " and that you got the red card. " probably not the greatest thing to bring up considering how competitive jo seemed to be. and there was no denying that he was very easy on the eyes. hence the nervousness coming from her. " you know what . . ignore that last bit. "

“      ⸺ of course we've got a break right after your suspension ends . " a small chuckle comes from the goalkeeper as he heads to leave from the arena. no doubt , they didn't play their best today but it also wasn't the worst game. alex preferred not to be reminded of his second game back . taking that big loss had made several of the guys , cranky. not that he blamed them. the whole game had set him off the moment heidenheim had scored that first goal.

he placed a hand on the other's shoulder , giving it a squeeze . " at least it's over now and you'll be back out there. hope 'v wasn't pestering you too much in the stands. "

         she'd  been  waiting  for  the  last  two  days  for  tonight  to  come.   sure  ,  it  wasn't  their  first  date  but   it  happened  to  be  her  first  time  at  a  christmas  market  .  and  she  was  happily  going  to  spend  it  with  him.  so  much  that  had  been  crossed  of  her  list  of  things  to  do  that  day.  from  cleaning  the  house  ,  to  a  much  needed  bubble  bath  ,  all  the  way  to  now.   hair  and  makeup  done.  dark  jeans  on.   thankfully  ,  alex  had  put  in  a  little  help  on  what  she  needed  to  wear.  it  was  cold  and  snowy.  therefore  ,  something  extremely  warm  needed  to  be  sported.  after  slippng  a  long  sleeved  dark  grey  shirt  over  herself  ,  she  heard  the  doorbell  ring  .  and  alex's  voice  .  clearly  jo  was  there  and  she  needed  to  hurry.  quickly  putting  on  her  black  and  dark  grey  snow  boots  and  throwing  on  the  black  and   thickest  peacoat  she  had  ,  davina  made  her  way  downstairs  to  see  the  two  men  talking  in  the  kitchen.  eyes  automatically  going  to  jo.  and  of  course  ,  she  could  hear  alex's  teasing  remark.  "  ready  to  go?  "  her  smile  grew  towards  joshua.  he  looked  absolutely  amazing.  then  again,  there  wasn't  a  time  she  recalled  when  he  didn't  look  that  way.
