I've been thinking a lot about EarthquakeClan now that Lynxstar died, and I decided that Lynxstar stayed in StarClan for a very short while. He wanted to give nine lives to Raventuft, but once he saw that Raventuft refused leadership to give it to Asterheart, he was extremely excited by the prospect. After all, it was something he've been wanting to give Asterheart ever since he started seeing as more than yet another manipulation tool to boast his power (and that was already happening before Asterheart became a warrior, so a LONG time). So he waited until he had given Asterstar one life to do what he wanted to do: to kill Darkstripe and make him fade.

Darkstripe was his mentor, and he was a confident, well-known warrior from EarthquakeClan. Thing is, Lynxstar has always been somewhat of an outcast, and it was even worse when he was still Lynxpaw. Darkstripe was not a patient mentor and he was very demanding, which in turn made Lynxpaw despise him. Ravenpaw would often give him ideas on how to take revenge on him, but he never went through with any of them; he just wanted to finish his training and never see Darkstripe again. And so, when Darkstripe died, Lynxfang was the only cat who, after approaching his dead body, said he hoped he was rotting in the Dark Forest for worsening his already mildly damaged confidence issues.

Once he came to StarClan (since he had been an average leader, and Pikestar was happy that he had been a good friend to his son, Asterstar) and saw Darkstripe, he decided that he'd make him vanish. After he was done, he was sent to the Dark Forest, and is, so far, the only cat from EarthquakeClan that lives in there. Asterstar occasionally gets visits from him, and he doesn't mind being seen by StarClan in the company of a Dark Forest cat; his main character trait is being shameless after all.

TLDR: Lynxstar killed his old mentor in StarClan, and was then sent to the Dark Forest.

A short furred cinnamon tortie molly with pale green eyes and a permanent mischievous grin. Lynxpaw was born with a naturally short tail and long ear tips contributing to her name. Her paws are somewhat large for her body but she’ll grow into them and it’s never stopped her from being quick afoot.

Lynxpaw is an utterly devious cat known for getting into all kinds of trouble as a kit. They used to enlist the assistance of any nursery-mate naive enough to follow along with her schemes. Despite being a troublemaker and a bit of a jester, Lynxpaw is capable of being serious when the time calls for it and is sensitive enough to the emotions of their friends to avoid taking a joke too far.
