Why Lukloé won't happen, but Lukagami will

In the Audiovisual and Broadcasting college, I learned that every series has indications about what will happen in the end. Although there are some changes in the production course, the story’s line of reasoning remains the same. In Miraculous Ladybug, this is no different, and several signs even indicate who the characters will stay with at the end of the story.

Some of these signs indicate that Luka and Kagami are going to be a couple. However, some fans insist that Luka should stay with either Chloe or Zoe, even if their claims are based more on personal opinions than on facts. In this post, I’ll show you why Luka will stay with Kagami, not with Chloe or Zoe.

1- Why Luka will stay with Kagami

Visual signs

Characters are very well planned before their debuts. Their appearances and personalities are described in the series bible, so the writers know how to write the stories. In Miraculous Ladybug, they took great care to make Marinette and Adrien wear clothes of opposite colors. Then, when the negative filter is applied, Adrien’s colors are the same as Marinette’s regular version and vice versa. And the same goes for Luka and Kagami.

Notice that Luka and Marinette wear white shirts, while Adrien and Kagami wear black shirts. At the same time, Luka and Marinette wear props on their ears (Luka wears earplugs and Marinette wears earrings), while Adrien and Kagami wear rings. Considering the plot, we realized that the series intention is to show that Luka and Kagami seemed to be the pairs of Marinette and Adrien. Still, a couple is formed by two people who complete themselves, not necessarily equal. It has to do with the series philosophical basis, based on Chinese philosophy and its elements, such as yin-yang. No wonder Ladybug and Cat Noir represent it in the Miracle box. And speaking about it, it is one more sign that both Adrien and Marinette and Luka and Kagami will be together.

The Miracle Box

The Miracle box is divided into three groups related to Chinese philosophy:

The yin-yang

The five elements of nature

The twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac

Chinese philosophy states that there must always be a balance between the forces of nature (the perfect balance is represented by yin-yang). Master Fu even explained it in “Robustus.” Then, the miraculouses of each group are ordered in the box in a way that

Let’s start with the Chinese zodiac miraculouses. We have mouse, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. And we know which characters are their wielders: Mylene, Ivan, Juleka, Alix, Kagami, Luka, Max, Nathaniel, Kim, Marc, Sabrina, and Rose. From there, we can realize that we have an even number of miraculouses/wielders, so to maintain balance, they form duos or couples. To focus on couples later, let’s start with the duos, that is, characters within this group who don’t make a couple but have one thing in common.

The first duo is Kim (monkey) and Sabrina (dog): Kim was in love with Chloe but is now Ondine’s boyfriend; Sabrina idolizes Chloe and has a brief romance with an American boy in “Miraculous New York.” Although Kim and Sabrina are not a couple, they form a duo: they are two Chinese zodiac miraculous wielders who have a non-miraculous wielder love interest. The second duo is Max (horse) and Alix (rabbit). Thomas Astruc has already confirmed that Max is asexual and that Alix is aromantic. Therefore, we have one more duo: Chinese zodiac miraculous wielders without a love development in the series.

There are leftover Mylene (mouse), Ivan (ox), Juleka (tiger), Kagami (dragon), Luka (snake), Nathaniel (goat), Marc (rooster), and Rose (pig). Among this group, we have some confirmed couples: Mylene/Ivan, Juleka/Rose, and Marc/Nathaniel. Who are the only ones left? Luka and Kagami.

In addition, the signs of the Chinese zodiac are divided into the yin and yang polarities. Thomas Astruc likes to work with this concept, and we notice it in some couples. Ladybug and Cat Noir are the very representation of yin-yang. Mylene has the mouse miraculous, of yang polarity, and Ivan has the ox miraculous, of yin polarity. The same goes for Juleka (tiger, yang) and Rose (pig, yin). Who else has a miraculous with a yin sign and a yang sign? Luka (snake, yin) and Kagami (dragon, yang). Moreover, according to Chinese philosophy, the most promising union is between a snake man and a dragon woman. It is no coincidence that Ladybug and Cat Noir used the dragon and the snake miraculous for season three’s final battle (“Miracle Queen”). Who is the man who uses the snake miraculous? Luka. Who is the woman who uses the dragon miraculous? Kagami.

Other signs

The characters’ names in a story are never chosen by chance. There’s always a reference or meaning behind it. Marinette, for example, is the diminutive of Marie, the French name of the Virgin Mary, Our Lady. The name of the insect ladybug was created as a reference to her. Therefore, the ladybug-themed heroine is named after Our Lady. Besides being a male form of Gabrielle (Chanel’s first name, then a good one for a stylist), Gabriel is an angel name. The contradiction between Gabriel being an angel name and the character being extremely evil is reflected in Gabriel Agreste himself, who pretends to be correct for others but secretly is the greatest villain in Paris. We can also note this issue of the names in Lukagami.

The name Luka means “light” in Latin, while Kagami means “mirror” in Japanese. A mirror can only work with light. The last syllable of the name Luka is the first of the name Kagami. You don’t have to take anything out of their names to form the couple’s name. It indicates that Luka and Kagami fit perfectly into each other. In addition, one of Luka’s akumatized forms is named Truth, and one of Kagami’s is called Lies, indicating how they complete each other.

In addition, there are some other details, which work with similarities and complementation between the two. Both Luka and Kagami were raised by their mothers (Anarka is a single mother, and I believe Tomoe is a widow). Both mothers are inserted in their children’s themes (Anarka is a rocker like Luka, Tomoe is a fencer like Kagami). Both mothers were akumatized with vehicles (Anarka was akumatized with her boat in “Captain Hardrock,” Tomoe was akumatized with her car in “Ikari Gozen”). Luka is poor and was raised free, while Kagami is rich and was raised stuck. That complementation - which is also observed in Marinette (poor, free) and Adrien (rich, stuck) - is one of the signs that Luka and Kagami need from each other.

Kagami has already mentioned in “Riposte” and “Desperada” that she - and her family - don’t believe in second chances. Luka’s power as Viperion is called “Second Chance.” Despite being cheated on in “Truth” (in which he says he already knows that Marinette loves Adrien) and having discovered in “Wishmaker” that Marinette and Adrien are destined, Luka still loves Marinette and even says so in “Ephemeral.” Kagami says in “Frozer” that the biggest mistake a fencer can make isn’t choosing the wrong technique; it’s choosing the wrong target. Although in that context, she was indicating to Adrien that he should start focusing on her instead of the girl he liked, we realized with the advancement of the story that it is Luka who needs to “change targets.” By nurturing that sickly love for Marinette, Luka only harms himself, for he condemns himself to love a woman who will never love him (as Marinette herself said in “Crocoduel”). Then, Luka and Kagami can help each other. Luka can teach Kagami that second chances do exist (and she must believe after what happened to her feelings in “Lies”) and may even face Tomoe to save Kagami from that trapped life (as Marinette herself faced Gabriel in “Miraculous New York”). Kagami can teach Luka to give himself more value and change his target to someone who wants him. From their experience when Marinette and Adrien cheated on them, it is clear that Luka and Kagami would not cheat on each other. On the contrary, they would be a couple who help each other and complement each other, such as Adrien/Cat Noir and Marinette/Ladybug.

Another point that unites Luka and Kagami is their ties with arts. Luka has a strong bond to music, as shown in episodes like “Captain Hardrock,” “Frozer,” “Silencer,” “Desperada,” “Truth,” and “Wishmaker.” He expresses himself poetically using references to music, as seen in “Silencer” and “Wishmaker.” Kagami has a similar bond to drawing, shown in “Lies.” Just as Luka finds the melody “sincere” in “Silencer,” Kagami sees sincerity in the art of drawing in “Lies.” When she helps Marinette find a way to declare her feelings to Adrien in “Glaciator 2,” she also expresses herself poetically while describing the seduction from what she learned in a manga (a literary genre that unites text and drawing). Music, drawing, and literature are art forms, and Luka and Kagami know the essenceof these genres.

Therefore, those who dismiss Lukagami as something “cliché” just because the couple is formed by the protagonists’ ex-boyfriend and girlfriend are taking a very shallow view of the matter. Both characters were carefully created and developed to complete each other and stay together. Seeing only the interaction between the characters, Nino and Alya could also be considered a “cliché” couple, as there are a lot of stories including a couple formed by the protagonists’ best friends (e.g., High School Musical). Likewise, many works show a mean character being redeemed after starting a relationship with a good one (e.g., Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and Inuyasha). Therefore, Lukloe could also be considered a “cliché.” Thomas Astruc confirmed that Luka will not stay with Chloe, and the following reasons explain why.

2- Why Luka won’t stay with Chloe or Zoe

Although Chloe and Luka are opposite (Chloe representing evil and Luka representing good), their opposition is not the kind that would form a couple in Miraculous Ladybug’s context and philosophy. To better understand why, one must return to the Miracle box, explaining why he can’t stay with her, nor with Zoe.

The Miracle Box

As explained earlier, the miraculouses are divided into three groups in the box: the yin-yang, the five elements of nature, and the Chinese zodiac signs. In addition, we have seen that the Chinese zodiac miraculouses are in even numbers, and their wielders form duos or couples to maintain the balance defended in Chinese philosophy. But to understand the part of Chloe and Zoe, it is necessary to explain the other box’s groups.

The box’s middle part has five miraculouses: fox, bee, turtle, peacock, and butterfly. They represent the five elements of nature: fire, wood, earth, water, and metal. Notice that five is an odd number, different from the even number of Chinese zodiac signs. Within the element miraculous wielders, we have a couple - Alya (fox) and Nino (turtle) - and a duo: Gabriel (butterfly) and Nathalie (peacock), the villains. At the story’s beginning, Gabriel and Emilie (peacock) also formed a couple of miraculous wielders within the group, maintaining balance.

Then we realize there’s no way for Luka to be with Zoe or Chloe. Their miraculouses are of different groups (Luka’s is of the zodiac and Zoe’s and Chloe’s is of the elements). Miraculous wielders stay with someone of the same group (e.g., Marinette/Adrien (yin-yang), Alya/Nino (elements), and Mylene/Ivan (zodiac)). Or, at least, with someone without miraculous, with another wielder also dating someone without miraculous to balance (Kim and Sabrina). A wielder of a miraculous type cannot date a wielder of a different kind because it would not maintain the balance.

The bee miraculous is left alone in its group because the number is odd. But to understand this part, one must first understand what happens to Chloe and Zoe.

Addendum (03/03/2022): The logic of the Miracle box applies to the official wielders (the temporary ones are excluded) who acquired their powers around the time of Marinette and Adrien (older wielders are excluded, such as those shown in the Miraculous spellbook, and Master Fu), as the series is focused on them. Remembering that not even 100 years have passed from the time when Gabriel and Emilie became wielders to when Adrien received his miraculous. Marinette, for example, was a temporary wielder of the mouse miraculous in “Kwamibuster” and is not Ivan’s girlfriend. Felix uses the dog miraculous in “Strike Back,” but Sabrina is the official wielder (and she is the one who forms the duo with Kim, as explained earlier). The temporary uses of the dragon and snake miraculouses by Marinette and Adrien were used in the text to demonstrate the Chinese philosophical view about the union between a dragon woman and a snake man.

2.1 Why Luka won't stay with Chloe

Chloe is evil (even if her fans deny it)

Although her fans won’t admit it, Chloe is a character created to be evil. From the beginning of the story, she loves bullying her colleagues just for the sheer pleasure of watching them suffer. One example is in “Reflekta,” where Chloe orders Sabrina to trap Juleka in the bathroom so she cannot take the class photo. It leads Juleka to be akumatized. At no point did Chloe apologize to Juleka or any other colleague. The only exception was in “Zombizou,” where Chloe got right with Miss Bustier but did so only to consolidate her prestige with the teacher. Chloe would stop her deeds if she were indeed sorry. However, Chloe sees no reason to get right with her classmates (which she deems inferior), while as the teacher is an authority, it was in her interest to have a good image with her.

We see in “Reflekdoll” and “Crocoduel” that Luka and Juleka are very attached, and we see in “Silencer” and “Truth” that Luka does not endure injustices and people who do evil to others. Would Luka fall in love with someone who does evil for pleasure and doesn’t regret her acts as Chloe? Not. Especially since Chloe and Juleka are enemies, Luka would never like someone who does evil to his sister.

Many claims that Luka could “change” Chloe to the good side. Well, for that to happen, Chloe must be open to change. Some believe that her experience as Queen Bee “proves” that she can be good. But in fact, Chloe just wanted to be Queen Bee to have as much fame as Ladybug and Cat Noir. Her performances as a heroine were not very notable, except in “Malediktator” and “Miraculer,” which involved people of her interests (her father and Sabrina). Chloe did not understand that when Ladybug did not choose her to help, it was not because Ladybug did not like her, but because that mission did not need the power to paralyze. She doesn’t understand that because she doesn’t seek fighting villains to help others but rather opportunities to show off.

Chloe herself stated in “Heart Hunter” that she doesn’t love anyone. And that means she only sees people thinking about what each one can offer her. Her parents are her livelihood (since she doesn’t work yet), Sabrina is her minion (made clear in “Sole Crusher”), and Adrien is a trophy: the “best” girl (as she thinks about herself) “must have” the most handsome, popular, and desired boy from Paris. In sum, Chloe sees Adrien much like Gaston sees Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

Any resemblance is no mere coincidence.

In “Miracle Queen,” Chloe despises Luka for wearing simple clothes. So, even if she finds him “cute” (which caused many to start to ship them instantly), she does not see him as a love interest because he is poor and would not offer her anything that would interest her. In “Sole Crusher,” Chloe orders Zoe to crush those inside the boat - including Luka - because, in her view, they are “losers.” Therefore, both Luka would not be interested in Chloe, and Chloe has no interest in Luka.

About one of Gloob’s trailers had insinuated that Lukloe could happen (for she had called him “cute”), we need to remember an important detail: not all Gloob says is official. Sometimes the channel tries to mislead the fans, like when the narrator implied that Extraterrestrials would abduct Ladybug and Cat Noir in “Truth,” and when he suggested that Adrien would be jealous of Luka and Marinette in “Wishmaker.”

Before someone says that Thomas Astruc has changed things before - like the age difference between Luka and Juleka - and could change the couples too, I need to explain something. Age differences are minimal details, so the production course indeed could change them. However, couples are a significant part of this story - and they follow a logic - so they are not subject to enormous changes.

Chloe will stay by herself

Thomas Astruc has already said that Chloe will not be with anyone at the end of the series. And that’s the most significant proof that she won’t date Adrien or Luka or anyone. I realize that many of her fans wage real wars with Astruc, accusing him of “ruining the character’s development.” They can’t recognize that Chloe represents people who have the opportunity to change, but because they are selfish, they only think of themselves. She’s a villain, and in children’s cartoons, villains are punished. Astruc creates the story and the characters, and we have seen that his work follows logic. If Chloe’s fans don’t like how the character is going, stop watching the cartoon. For myself, when I saw that The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural were taking a way I didn’t like, I just stopped watching. I didn’t make this embarrassing role of arguing with the producers and creators.

It’s false that Thomas Astruc said that Chloé “is his favorite character” and that she “will stay with Luka.” If he “said” it, he was probably being ironic, and people didn’t understand.

2.2 Why Luka won’t stay with Zoe

Many began to shipp Luka and Zoe because of the ice cream Luka takes in “Miracle Queen” and “Truth.” The ice cream has a blue scoop (Zoe’s hat color) and a pink scoop (her hair bangs’ color). However, we have seen from the logic of the Miracle box that Luka and Zoe cannot be together. Besides, André’s ice cream doesn’t always really have the colors of the people portrayed.

Indeed, in “Glaciator,” Marinette and Adrien’s ice creams refer to the colors of Adrien and Ladybug, respectively. However, in “Heart Hunter” and “Lies,” André represents Adrien and Kagami with peppermint and orange ice cream. We know from “Glaciator” that peppermint refers to Adrien’s green eyes, but Kagami has nothing that the orange color could represent. André usually describes Marinette with a blackberry ice cream (referencing her hair), but in both “Truth” and “Wishmaker,” he does not give her a blackberry ice cream. In the latter, she is represented with strawberry and cherry ice cream, and Luka with pistachio and pecan (while Luka has nothing green). The blue-pink ice cream means Lukanette, not Luka’s fate (remembering that Marinette’s pants are pink).

Many also believed from the “Crocoduel” trailers that Luka would approach Zoe. However, throughout the episode, they barely interacted. Zoe has demonstrated that he sees Luka as a good friend, and he probably sees her the same way. It is certain that in “Desperada,” Kagami got on Luka’s boat as uninvited (because she was accompanying Adrien). Still, in “Truth” and “Lies,” we see that she was invited to watch the Kitty Section show on the boat. Even if it was only to see Adrien, if her presence was allowed, Luka considers her part of the group of friends. It’s impressive how the central “point” anti-Lukagami shippers have is that “Luka and Kagami don’t interact.” At the same time, they shipp Luka with Chloe (who despises him and doesn’t even know his name) or with Zoe (with whom he also has minimal interaction). Kagami at least knows Luka’s name, besides having all those elements already mentioned at the beginning of the text.

Zoe's fate

In addition to shipp Luka with Zoe or with Chloe (based, as I proved, on opinions and misinterpretations, not on facts), the anti-Lukagami ones usually shipp Kagami with Felix. Perhaps this is one of the most random ships possible, as nothing links Kagami to Felix. Some claim that Kagami would be “rewarded” with another “Adrien” (because Felix and Adrien are identical), but in “Mr. Pigeon 72,” she has already shown that she wants nothing more to do with Adrien.

Felix and Kagami were not even seen together before “Gabriel Agreste.” In “Felix,” Kagami is seen briefly in a video call, and it has not been shown whether she recorded any video supporting Adrien. Felix stood out in the episode for making a video posing as Adrien and mistreating his friends. From Nathalie’s speech, we realized that it was Lila who sent Felix’s video to Gabriel. Lila, like Kagami, was only seen on a board in the video call, having not made any video in support of Adrien. Soon, if Lila received Felix’s video, it is likely that Kagami also did, and upon learning of everything that happened, she was also angry with Felix. That’s why Kagami had an angry looking at Felix in “Gabriel Agreste.”

If “interaction” is the reason why Lukagami has to be dismissed, then Lukloe, Lukzoe, and Feligami should also be. But if they want to get Felix a girlfriend so bad, there’s an indication that maybe Zoe is the perfect one for him.

In their debuts, Felix and Zoe were considered “copies” of Adrien and Chloe, respectively. Felix passed himself off as Adrien in “Felix,” and Zoe’s akumatized form is identical to Chloe in “Sole Crusher.” I heard there is a possibility that Felix is not exactly evil but has to use unethical tactics to get his family’s rings. If so, he has something in common with Zoe, who had to pretend to be mean in “Sole Crusher” and “Gabriel Agreste” to please her family and fulfill a mission to help Marinette. Joining Zoe and Felix would not destroy the balance shown in the Miracle box, for her jewel is unmatched, and she would form a couple with someone who has no miraculous. Then, she would not “take” any miraculous from its group to create a couple with her. Of course, Zoe and Felix have not interacted so far, but the series is not over yet. There’s still plenty of time for them to interact. And better yet, there’s still plenty of time for Luka and Kagami to interact.

Of course, it could have some changes. It could happen, for instance, that Luka and Kagami finish the series on their own, forming a duo of Chinese zodiac miraculous wielders who dated the yin-yang protagonists and were left alone. But I think that ending would be too sad for both of them. Luka and Kagami have shown that they have a lot of love to give, and they deserve a companion to dedicate that love to.

3- Conclusion

Miraculous Ladybug’s own audiovisual elements indicate that Luka will stay with Kagami. Cartoons and series are very well planned and their progress does not occur at random. Even if Chloe’s fans fight with Thomas Astruc, it’s his work, and it’s up to him how it ends. The fanfics are there to bring an “escapism” to fans who wanted things to be done differently. In them, fans can shape Miraculous Ladybug’s universe at will, but in the original series, Luka and Kagami will form one of the story’s most charming couples, along with Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Cat Noir.

Summary: After a fight with Chloé, Zoé just wants some time alone by the riverside. So caught up in her feelings, she doesn’t notice the Couffaine houseboat docked nearby.

Zoé desperately reached out to snatch the item from Chloé’s hands but the other girl moved her arm away before she could. Tears sprang to her eyes but Zoé held them back, afraid to give Chloé more ammo to use against her.

“Not anymore,” Chloé said with a haughty laugh. Just before she left Zoé’s room, she paused and turned back to face her half-sister. “What was it you said about the necklace from mom? Oh, that’s right. ‘What’s mine is yours’, so I’m just taking what rightfully belongs to me!”

“Stupid, stupid, stupid.” Zoé muttered to herself. She slapped her hands to her cheeks to stop the tears from falling, leaving a slight sting of pain.

Deciding some time alone was well-needed, Zoé had left the hotel and headed to the Seine. The last thing she needed right now was to be in the same building as Chloé, and the fresh air would help to soothe her nerves. The cover of the evening sky would also help her go unnoticed. Once she reached the riverfront, Zoé sat down. Her head rested on her tucked up knees as she stared out into the distance.

Unfortunately, the fresh air did nothing to stop the endless stream of self-deprecating thoughts running rampant through her mind.

Tears cascaded down her face as a loud sob escaped Zoé’s throat. She rubbed the palm of her hand against her eyes, eyeliner smudging everywhere. If Chloé saw her now, she would most certainly point out how much of a mess Zoé was. And a mess of a sister wasn’t fit to be Chloé’s sister.

Zoé pressed her face into her knees, eyes squeezing tightly shut.

Why did Chloé hate her so much? Why was Zoé’s true self never good enough? Maybe she should have gone back to New York…

“Are you okay?”

Zoé’s muscles tensed as she slowly lifted her head. Squinting through the tears, she brushed aside the hair that had fallen in front of her face to see Luka Couffaine standing beside her. His eyebrows were knitted together, and his lips pulled taut.

“Sorry to disturb you. The houseboat is docked just over there,” he pointed over his left shoulder at the barge, “and I saw you here alone, and I thought you might want some company. I can go back if you don’t want me here, though.”

Zoé’s heart pounded loudly as her mouth hung agape. She still wasn’t used to people showing so much concern for her. First Marinette, and now Luka. The people of Paris sure were amazing, huh? She opened her mouth with the intention to explain what had happened but another choked sob came out instead. Luka’s eyes widened in alarm as he quickly knelt down beside her and comfortingly rubbed a hand in circles on her back.

“It’s okay,” he said. “Take as much time as you need. And if you don’t want to say anything, that’s okay too.”

“I,” she stuttered, lips wobbling, “Am I ever going to be good enough for her?”

“For who?” Luka softly spoke.

Zoé shook her head and sucked in a shaky breath. “No matter what I do, Chloé only seems to hate me more.”

“Oh,” he whispered. “Do you mind if I ask what happened?”

Luka shifted his legs so they dangled over the edge of the ledge and gently slung his right arm around Zoé’s shoulder. She found herself eagerly leaning into his touch, her head pressed against his chest. From this close, she could hear the steady beating of his heart, its gentle rhythm helping to soothe her.

“The school is putting on a play next month, and because of my stepfather’s connections a talent scout will be attending,” she started to explain, sniffling slightly. Luka nodded, obviously having heard about it from Juleka. “I auditioned for the lead role because it could be an amazing opportunity for my future career. Guess who else did?”

“Chloé?”

“Chloé,” Zoé sighed. “And when I got the role instead of her, she freaked out—started antagonising me more than usual.”

It seemed like Chloé was going through every trick in the book with all she’d done over the last week. She tried to get her punished for sabotaging one of Nathaniel’s paintings when Chloé herself was the actual culprit, put fake spiders in her locker with the intention to terrify her (Zoé never should have let it slip that she was arachnophobic) and cut a giant hole in her favourite t-shirt. But the worst of it all was…

“She stole something of great importance to me.”

Luka’s brows furrowed, eyes blazing with fury as he spat out a, “what?”

“You see, I don’t get to see my father very often, so the moments I do are very important to me,” Zoé said, eyes downcast. It hurt, of course, but she understood. It’s why she had to attend a boarding school before moving to Paris. Her father was always away, too busy to be part of her life.

Luka nodded. He smiled, but the happiness didn’t show in his eyes. “I understand the feeling.”

“When I do get to see him, he usually brings me a gift. I think it’s his way of apologising for not being there for me. I know it’s superficial, but…” she hesitated and shook her head. “It’s been about six months since we last spoke, and when we did he gave me a beautiful necklace.”

Zoé bit her lip as tears welled up in her eyes once more and she felt a heavy weight on her chest as her breathing quickened. She blinked repeatedly in an attempt to hold the tears back, not realising she’d been clutching Luka’s hoodie so tightly she had a fistful of it.

“You don’t have to continue if you don’t want to.” Luka said reassuringly, his voice a low tone.

“No, it’s okay. I can do it,” Zoé inhaled another deep breath, her breathing levelling out. “I keep the necklace in a box in my bedside drawer, and when I got back to the hotel I found Chloé rifling through my stuff,” as she spoke, her voice faded until it was barely a whisper, “I once told her what’s mine is hers, and now those words have come back to bite me.”

At Luka’s silence, she glanced up. He stared back with wide eyes before hugging her more tightly. Zoé felt heat rush to her cheeks and a fluttering sensation tingle through her body as he shifted his body to hug her properly. Softly, he cupped a hand against her cheek and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “I’m sorry that happened to you.”

Zoé abruptly scooted backward, instantly finding herself yearning to feel the warmth of his embrace again despite her embarrassment. She rubbed the sleeve of her jacket across her face and tried to put on a fake smile.

“No, I’m sorry for wasting your time. I shouldn’t be crying over something so trivial.”

“Don’t be sorry. It’s not bad to cry. In fact, it makes a person stronger.”

It was as if Luka’s words pierced her very soul. Ducking her head to hide her blush, Zoé felt a sudden flare of joy spark to life inside her. Her lips curled into a small smile—a genuine one, this time. “Thank you.”

A moment of silence passed as they stared deeply into each other’s eyes. Luka had just begun to lean forward when a sudden shout of his name interrupted their moment.

“Luka!”

He turned around to see his mom on the deck of the boat. In the time they had been sitting together at the riverside, the gentle blues and purple of the evening sky had deepened into black. A full moon hung from the sky, surrounded by a spattering of stars.

“I should go back now.” Zoé said, though she did not move.

“Would you like to stay with us tonight? I’m sure mom wouldn’t mind, and neither would Jules.”

“Oh, no. I’ve taken up enough of your time already!” Zoé exclaimed with a wave of her hands.

“I insist. Mum’s always happy to have guests,” his expression shifted into a grin. “Besides, if she were to find out what happened, she would march over there and rip Chloé a new one.”

Zoé breathed out a short laugh as the mental image of Anarka telling Chloé off popped into her head. She bit her lip as she pondered his invitation. If she stayed with Luka, she wouldn’t run the risk of bumping into her sister. It would probably do her good to stay away for a while longer, if only for peace of mind.

“Okay.”

“Yeah?” His eyes lit up, hopeful.

“Yeah,” she nodded. “I need to send my stepfather a message to let him know where I am first, though, or he’ll worry.”

She typed out a brief message, not bothering to give the same courtesy to her mother. In all likelihood, Audrey wouldn’t even notice her daughter’s absence.

Pocketing her phone, she glanced up to see Luka now standing before her.

He held his hand out in offering, smiling gently. And without hesitation, Zoé took it.

Luka and Zoé, One-Sided Zoénette, Background Adrienette: Window (One-Shot)

@mrsleeeeeeung requested LukZoé...but I headcanon Zoé as lesbian, so it’s a platonic interaction, but I hope you guys enjoy it anyway.

Summary: Seeing Adrien with the woman she loves gets to be too much for Zoé. As someone who can relate to Zoé’s situation, Luka lends an ear and shares some advice.

Zoé kept her smile pasted on as she slowly sank back into the shadows, breaking off from the rest of the group.

She slipped away silently, fighting to keep the tears at bay until she made it to the safety of the upper deck of the Liberty, away from prying eyes and the happiness of her friends.

Only once she was there did she let her cheery façade fall.

She’d always known that Marinette loved Adrien. She’d even gone so far as to help in the girls’ elaborate schemes to help Marinette confess, but Zoé had never thought anything would come of it.

Now, seeing Adrien sitting on Marinette’s lap, his arms wrapped around her neck as he gazed at her in open adoration…it was too much for her.

She could almost hear her heart crunch inside her chest like the shards of a shattered car window.

She sank to her knees and rested her forehead against the lower railing, letting the cool metal tether her to the present.

She couldn’t let herself get akumatized. Then they’d all know her secret, and the very thought of Marinette coming up to her afterwards and apologizing for not realizing and telling Zoé how much Marinette valued her friendship was just…so much worse than the sucking pain in her chest in that moment.

She had to keep it together.

“Hey,” a soft voice called apprehensively. “You okay?”

Zoé’s head whipped around, and she spied Luka standing awkwardly by the corner of the ping pong table.

Luka winced when he saw the steady stream of tears marching down Zoé’s cheeks. “Sorry. Stupid question. Obviously, you’re not okay. I knew that when I saw you leave, but…”

He blew out a slow exhale and cautiously approached.

“Is it okay if I sit with you? We don’t have to talk or anything, but you don’t look like you should be alone right now.”

He sat on the deck beside her, pillowing his arms on the lower railing as his legs dangled over the side of the boat.

Zoé forced herself to swallow as she hastily wiped away her tears with both palms. “It’s nothing, really. I’m just…being really stupid.”

“Feelings aren’t stupid, even if they are illogical,” Luka responded with calm certainty.

She blinked at him.

“Even if your feelings aren’t rational, they’re still valid,” he added, looking out at the city thoughtfully, avoiding her gaze so that she wouldn’t feel self-conscious about her frazzled state.

She gulped again. “…I don’t know why I ever thought I stood a chance against Adrien Agreste. I don’t know why I thought Marinette would eventually get over him and finally see me beside her.”

Luka nodded. “Mood. Unfortunately, I can relate intimately with that sentiment. Though, I never expected her to completely forget about Adrien. It was okay for her to still love him so long as she loved me too, but…”

He winced and turned to give her a sheepish smile. “Sorry. I don’t mean to make it about me.”

“No. Go on,” she encouraged. “How did you…? How did you learn to be okay? Like…how do I watch Adrien hang all over her and not feel like there’s a giant glass shard impaled in my chest?”

Luka pursed his lips and thought for a moment. “…Well, I don’t know if this method will be effective for you, but I think about what a good person Adrien is, how much I adore him, how happy he makes Marinette. I love her, so I want her to be happy. He’s the one who makes her happy, so…”

Zoé untucked her legs from underneath her and draped them over the side of the boat. She scooted in closer to Luka, folding her arms on top of the railing and resting her chin on top.

“How do you get over the fact that it’s him, not you, who makes her happy?”

“I do make her happy,” Luka chuckled ironically. “I make her happy by accepting that she picked him. I make her happy by supporting them. I make her happy by not causing drama within her friend group and making people choose sides.”

Zoé’s brow crumpled up into a web of furrows. “So, I just swallow down my feelings until I choke on them?”

He shook his head. “Never suppress your feelings. It’s okay to feel them. Just…try to reframe your thoughts. When you start thinking ‘I don’t get to be Marinette’s girlfriend’, try to think instead, ‘I get to be Marinette’s trusted friend’. Try to focus on the good.”

Zoé blew out a long sigh as her gaze dropped down into the Seine. “That’s hard, though.”

Luka nodded. “Yes. Yes, it is. I didn’t say I had an easy, three-step plan. You asked me how I did it, and I told you.”

He bit his lip and cast a sidelong look at her. “…Just give it time. Feel your feelings, but don’t drown in them. Try to focus on the positives, but if you’re not feeling it, give yourself permission to grieve. Take it one day at a time…and, if you ever need to talk, you have my number.”

She looked up at him in surprise.

“If you feel comfortable talking to me,” he hurriedly added. “I don’t know how helpful I’ve been, but—”

“—Very helpful!” she rushed to assure. “I’ll definitely call you if I need to talk. If you don’t mind, of course.”

He gave her a warm smile. “I’m always happy to talk.”

Slowly, a tentative grin began to tug at the corners of her lips. “Thank you, Luka. I…Thank you for coming after me and talking me down.”

She leaned in and pressed a light kiss to his cheek. “You’re really awesome.”

His expression turned surprised for a moment before quickly returning to open and friendly. “You’re very welcome. …So…if you don’t mind me asking, are you bi, or…?”

“Lesbian,” she replied with a blush, looking back down at her lap.

“Cool, cool,” he responded with a nod. “Well, my sister is taken, but do you know Kagami Tsurugi?”

Zoé perked up. “We’ve met a few times, but I haven’t gotten the opportunity to talk to her much.”

Luka nodded. “Well, I can give you her number if you don’t already have it. She’s an amazing, strong, passionate woman who just so happens to be single.”

Zoé’s cheeks colored slightly. “She seems cool. Do you think she’d be into me?”

Luka shrugged. “Maybe. It’s hard to get past her shell, but once you do, she’s your sworn friend for life. I don’t advocate rebounding, but spending time with attractive people when you’re feeling down does wonders, so…”

“That might not be a bad idea,” Zoé reasoned, imagining meeting up with Kagami for brunch and going for a walk in the Parc Monceau.

She turned to Luka and gave him a bright smile. “Thank you so much!”

“Sure thing,” he replied with a wink. “What’s that saying? Whenever a door shuts, a window opens? Maybe this isn’t an ending but a new beginning.”

Zoé shook her head. “I’m not so sure I believe in your Romantic view of things…but it would be nice if you were right. …Give me Kagami’s number. I’m interested in seeing where this goes.”

Une chose que j’ai apprise à la faculté de radio et télévision, c’est que chaque série laisse des indices sur ce qui se passera à la fin. Bien qu’il y ait quelques changements dans le cours de la production, le raisonnement de l’histoire reste le même. Dans Miraculous Ladybug, ce n’est pas différent, et il y a plusieurs signes qui indiquent, y compris, avec qui les personnages resteront à la fin de l’histoire.

Certains de ces signes indiquent que Luka et Kagami seront un couple. Cependant, certains fans insistent pour que Luka reste avec Chloé ou Zoé, même si ses affirmations sont davantage basées sur des opinions personnelles que sur des faits. Dans cet article, je vais vous montrer pourquoi Luka restera avec Kagami, pas Chloé ou Zoé.

1- Pourquoi Luka restera avec Kagami

· Signaux visuels

Les personnages sont très bien projetés avant leurs premières. Leurs apparences et leurs personnalités sont décrites dans la bible de la série afin que les scénaristes sachent comment écrire les histoires. Dans Miraculous Ladybug, ils ont pris grand soin de faire porter à Marinette et Adrien des vêtements de couleurs opposées, afin que lorsque le filtre négatif était appliqué, les couleurs de l’un étaient les mêmes que l’autre dans la version normale. Et il en va de même pour Luka et Kagami.

Notez que Luka et Marinette portent des chemises blanches, tandis qu’Adrien et Kagami portent des chemises noires. En même temps, Luka et Marinette portent des boucles d’oreilles, tandis qu’Adrien et Kagami portent des bagues. Considérant l’intrigue, nous avons réalisé que l’intention du dessin animé était de montrer qu’apparemment Luka et Kagami seraient les paires de Marinette et Adrien, mais un couple est formé par deux personnes qui se complètent, pas nécessairement égales. Et ceci est lié à la base philosophique du dessin animé, qui est basée sur la philosophie chinoise et ses éléments, comme le yin-yang. Non pour rien, Ladybug et Chat Noir le représentent dans la Miracle Box. Et en parlant de cela, elle est plus un signe qu’autant Adrien et Marinette que Luka et Kagami vont être ensemble.

· La Miracle Box

La Miracle Box est divisée en trois groupes, qui sont liés à la philosophie chinoise:

· le yin-yang ;

· les cinq éléments de la nature ;

· les douze signes du zodiaque chinois

La philosophie chinoise affirme qu’il doit toujours y avoir un équilibre entre les forces de la nature (l’équilibre parfait est représenté par le yin-yang). Maître Fu lui-même a expliqué cela dans « Robostus ». Par conséquent, les Miraculous de chaque groupe sont ordonnés dans la boîte d’une manière qui maintient l’équilibre.

Commençons par les Miraculous du zodiaque chinois. Nous avons la souris, le bœuf, le tigre, le lapin, le dragon, le serpent, le cheval, la chèvre, le singe, le coq, le chien et le cochon. Et nous savons quels personnages sont ses porteurs : Mylène, Ivan, Juleka, Alix, Kagami, Luka, Max, Nathaniel, Kim, Marc, Sabrina et Rose. À partir de là, nous pouvons réaliser que nous avons un nombre pair de Miraculous / porteurs, donc pour maintenir l’équilibre, ils forment des duos ou des couples. Pour nous concentrer sur les couples plus tard, commençons par les duos, c’est-à-dire les personnages de ce groupe qui ne forment pas un couple, mais qui ont une chose en commun.

Le premier duo est Kim (singe) et Sabrina (chien). Kim était amoureuse de Chloé, mais est maintenant le petit ami d’Ondine. Sabrina idolâtre Chloé et a eu une brève romance avec un garçon américain dans « Miraculous World : New York ». Notez que bien que Kim et Sabrina ne soient pas un couple, ils forment un duo : ils sont deux porteurs Miraculous du zodiaque chinois qui ont un intérêt amoureux non porteur de Miraculous. Le deuxième duo est Max (cheval) et Alix (lapin). Thomas Astruc a déjà confirmé que Max est asexué, et qu’Alix est aromantique. Par conséquent, nous avons déjà un autre duo : deux porteurs de Miraculous du zodiaque chinois qui n’aura pas de développement aimant dans la série.

Reste Mylène (souris), Ivan (bœuf), Juleka (tigre), Kagami (dragon), Luka (serpent), Nathaniel (chèvre), Marc (coq) et Rose (cochon). Parmi ce groupe, nous avons quelques couples confirmés : Mylène / Ivan, Juleka / Rose et Marc / Nathaniel. Qui sont les seuls qui restent? Luka et Kagami.

De plus, les signes du zodiaque chinois sont divisés en polarités yin et yang. Thomas Astruc aime travailler avec ce concept, et nous réalisons cela dans certains couples. Ladybug et Chat Noir sont la représentation même du yin-yang. Mylène a le Miraculous de la souris, un signe de yang, et Ivan le Miraculous du bœuf, un signe de yin. Il en va de même pour Juleka (tigre, yang) et Rose (cochon, yin). Qui d’autre en a un Miraculous avec un signe yin et un de yang? Luka (serpent, yin) et Kagami (dragon, yang). De plus, selon la philosophie chinoise, l’union la plus propice est la entre un homme de serpent et une femme de dragon. Ce n’est pas un hasard si Ladybug et Chat Noir ont utilisé, respectivement, les Miraculous du dragon et du serpent pour la bataille finale de la saison trois (« Miracle Queen »). Qui est l’homme porteur du Miraculous du serpent? Luka. Qui est la femme porteuse du Miraculous du dragon? Kagami.

· Autres signes

Les noms des personnages d’une histoire ne sont jamais choisis par hasard. Il y a toujours une référence ou une signification derrière. Marinette, par exemple, est le diminutif de Marie, le nom français de la Vierge Marie, Notre-Dame. Le nom anglais des coccinelles, « ladybug », a été créé en référence à elle. Par conséquent, l’héroïne avec le thème de la coccinelle a reçu un nom qui faisait référence à Notre-Dame. Gabriel, en plus d’être le masculin de Gabrielle (nom de la styliste Coco Chanel, c’est-à-dire un bon nom pour un personnage styliste), est un nom d’ange. Cette contradiction entre Gabriel étant un nom d’ange et le personnage étant extrêmement mauvais se reflète dans Gabriel Agreste lui-même, qui prétend être correct pour les autres, mais est secrètement le plus grand méchant de Paris. Nous pouvons également noter ce point des noms dans Lukagami.

Le prénom Luka signifie « lumière » en latin, tandis que le prénom Kagami signifie « miroir » en japonais. Un miroir ne peut fonctionner qu’avec la lumière. La dernière syllabe du prénom Luka est la première du prénom Kagami. Vous n’avez rien à retirer de leur nom pour former le nom du couple. Cela indique que Luka et Kagami s’intègrent parfaitement l’un dans l’autre. Sans oublier que l’une des formes akumatisées de Luka s’appelle Vérité, et l’autre de Kagami s’appelle Mensonge, ce qui montre comment ils se complètent.

En outre, il y a d’autres détails, qui fonctionnent avec des similitudes et des compléments entre les deux. Luka et Kagami ont été élevés seulement par leurs mères (Anarka est une mère célibataire, et je crois que Tomoe est veuve). Les mères des deux sont insérées dans le thème des enfants (Anarka est un rocker comme Luka, Tomoe est une escrimeuse comme Kagami). Les deux mères ont été akumatisées avec des véhicules (Anarka a été akumatisée avec son bateaudans « Capitaine Hardrock », Tomoe a été akumatisée avec sa voiture dans « Ikari Gozen »). Luka est pauvre et a été élevé libre, tandis que Kagami est riche et a été élevé emprisonnée. Cette complémentarité - que l’on observe également chez Marinette (pauvre, libre) et Adrien (riche, emprisonné) - indique que Luka et Kagami ont besoin l’un de l’autre.

Kagami a déjà mentionné dans « Riposte » et dans « Desperada » que sa famille et elle-même ne croient pas à la seconde chance. Le pouvoir de Luka en tant que Viperion est appelé exactement « Seconde Chance ». Bien qu’il ait été trahi dans « Vérité » (dans lequel il dit déjà savoir que Marinette aime Adrien) et qu’il ait découvert dans « Exauceur » que Marinette et Adrien sont destinés, Luka ne manque pas d’aimer Marinette, et le dit même dans « Éphémère ». Kagami dit dans « Le Patineur » que « la plus grande erreur que peut faire un escrimeur c’est n’est pas de se tromper de coûts, c’est de se tromper de cible ». Bien que dans ce contexte elle indiquait à Adrien qu’il devrait commencer à se concentrer sur elle au lieur de la fille qu’il aimait, nous avons réalisé avec l’avancement de l’histoire que c’est en fait Luka qui doit « changer de cible ». En nourrir cet amour morbide pour Marinette, Luka seulement nuire à lui-même, car il se condamne à aimer une femme qui ne l’aimera jamais (comme Marinette l’a dit elle-même dans « Crocoduel »). Ensuite, Luka et Kagami peuvent s’aider : Luka peut enseigner à Kagami que les secondes chances existent (et elle devra croire après ce qui est passé avec ses sentiments dans « Mensonge »), et peut même faire face à Tomoe pour sauver Kagami de cette vie emprisonnée (comme Marinette elle-même a faite face à Gabriel dans « Miraculous World : New York »). Kagami peut enseigner à Luka à se donner plus de valeur et à changer sa cible pour quelqu’un qui le veut vraiment. D’après l’expérience qu’ils ont tous les deux eue lorsqu’ils ont été trahis par Marinette et Adrien, il est clair que Luka et Kagami ne se trahiraient pas. Au contraire, ils seraient un couple qui s’entraide et se complètent, comme Adrien / Chat Noir et Marinette / Ladybug.

Un autre point important qui unit Luka et Kagami est leurs relations avec l’art. Luka a un lien très profond avec la musique, comme le montrent des épisodes tels que « Capitaine Hardrock », « Le Patineur », « Silence », « Desperada », « Vérité » et « Exauceur ». Il s’exprime poétiquement en utilisant des références à la musique, comme on le voit dans « Silence » et « Exauceur ». Kagami a une relation similaire avec le dessin, montré dans « Mensonge ». Tout comme Luka décrit la mélodie comme « sincère » dans « Silence », Kagami souligne la sincérité dans l’art de dessiner dans « Mensonge ». Lorsqu’elle aide Marinette à trouver un moyen de se déclarer à Adrien dans « Glaciator 2 », elle s’exprime aussi poétiquement en décrivant la séduction pour le qu’elle a apprise dans un manga (un genre littéraire qui unit texte et dessin). La musique, le dessin et la littérature sont des formes d’art, et Luka et Kagami voient l’essence de ces genres.

Par conséquent, ceux qui diminuent Lukagami comme quelque chose de « cliché » simplement parce que le couple est formé par les ex-petits amis des protagonistes ont une vision très superficielle du sujet. Les deux personnages ont été soigneusement créés et développés pour se compléter et rester ensemble. Ne voyant que l’interaction entre les personnages, Nino et Alya pourraient également être considérés comme un couple « cliché », car il existe de nombreuses histoires dans lesquelles les meilleurs amis des protagonistes forment un couple (comme High School Musical). De même, il existe de nombreuses œuvres dans lesquelles un personnage maléfique est racheté après avoir commencé une relation avec un bon personnage (comme Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure et Inu-Yasha). Bientôt, Lukloé pourrait aussi être considéré comme un « cliché ». Thomas Astruc a confirmé que Luka ne restera pas avec Chloé, et les raisons en seront expliquées.

2- Pourquoi Luka ne restera pas avec Chloé ou Zoé

Bien que Chloé et Luka soient deux personnes très opposées (Chloé représentant le mal et Luka représentant le bien), leur opposition n’est pas du type à former un couple dans le contexte et la philosophie de Miraculous Ladybug. Pour mieux comprendre pourquoi, on doit retourner à la Miracle Box, ce qui explique aussi pourquoi il ne peut pas rester avec Zoé.

· La Miracle Box

Comme expliqué précédemment, les Miraculous de cette boîte sont divisés en trois groupes : le yin-yang, les cinq éléments de la nature et les signes du zodiaque chinois. De plus, nous avons vu que les Miraculous du zodiaque chinois sont en nombre pair, et que leurs porteurs forment des duos ou des couples pour maintenir l’équilibre défendu dans la philosophie chinoise. Mais pour comprendre le rôle de Chloé et Zoé, il faut expliquer les autres groupes de la boîte.

La partie centrale de la boîte présente cinq Miraculous - le renard, l’abeille, la tortue, le paon et le papillon - représentant les cinq éléments de la nature selon la philosophie chinoise : le feu, le bois, la terre, l’eau et le métal. Notez que cinq est un nombre impair, différent du nombre pair des signes du zodiaque chinois. Parmi les porteurs des Miraculous des éléments, nous avons un couple - Alya (renard) et Nino (tortue) - et un duo : Gabriel (papillon) et Nathalie (paon), les méchants. Au début de l’histoire, Gabriel et Emilie (paon) ont également formé un couple de porteurs Miraculous du même groupe, maintenant l’équilibre.

Puis nous réalisons qu’il n’y avait aucun moyen pour Luka d’être avec Zoé ou Chloé. Ses Miraculous sont de groupes différents (le de Luka est du zodiaque et le de Zoé et Chloé est des éléments). Les porteurs de Miraculous restent avec ceux qui possèdent l’un de leur même groupe (par exemple: Marinette / Adrien (yin-yang), Alya / Nino (éléments) et Mylène / Ivan (zodiaque)) ou restent avec ceux qui n’ont pas de Miraculous, donc il y a un autre porteur qui reste avec quelqu’un sans Miraculous pour équilibrer (Kim et Sabrina). Un porteur d’un type de Miraculous ne peut pas être petit ami d’un porteur d’un autre type, car il déséquilibre la balance.

Le Miraculous de l’abeille est laissé seul dans son groupe, car le nombre est impair. Mais pour comprendre cette partie, il faut d’abord comprendre ce qui arrive à Chloé et Zoé.

Addendum (03/03/2022) : la logique de la Miracle box s’applique aux porteurs officiels (les porteurs temporaires sont exclus) et qui ont acquis leurs pouvoirs aux alentours de l’époque de Marinette et Adrien (les porteurs plus anciens sont exclus, comme ceux du livre de Miraculous, et Maître Fu), car la série est centrée sur eux. Rappelant que même pas 100 ans ne se sont écoulés depuis le moment où Gabriel et Emilie sont devenus porteurs jusqu’à celui où Adrien a reçu son Miraculous. Marinette, par exemple, était un porteur temporaire du Miraculous de la souris dans « Chasseuse de Kwamis » et n’est pas la petite amie d’Ivan. Félix utilise le Miraculous du chien dans « Réplique », mais Sabrina est la porteuse officielle (et c’est elle qui fait le duo avec Kim, comme expliqué précédemment). Les utilisations temporaires des Miraculous du dragon et du serpent par Marinette et Adrien ont été utilisées dans le texte pour démontrer la vision philosophique chinoise concernant l’union entre une femme de dragon et un homme de serpent.

2.1 Pourquoi Luka ne restera pas avec Chloé

· Chloé est méchante (même si ses fans le nient)

Bien que les fans de Chloé ne l’admettent pas, la blonde est une personnage créé pour être maléfique. Dès le début de l’histoire, elle aime intimider ses collègues juste pour le simple plaisir de les regarder souffrir. Un exemple est dans « Reflekta », dans lequel elle ordonne à Sabrina d’arrêter Juleka dans la salle de bain afin qu’elle ne puisse pas prendre la photo de classe. Cela a provoqué l’akumatisation de Juleka. À aucun moment de l’histoire, Chloé ne s’est excusée auprès de Juleka ou de tout autre collègue. La seule exception était dans « Zombizou », dans lequel elle s’est excusé à Mademoiselle Bustier, mais elle ne l’a fait que pour consolider son prestige auprès la professeur. Si Chloé était vraiment désolée pour ses actes, elle les arrêterait. Cependant, elle ne voit aucune raison de s’excuser à ses camarades de classe (qu’elle juge inférieurs), alors que comme la professeur est une autorité, il était dans son intérêt d’avoir une bonne image avec elle.

Nous voyons dans « Poupeflekta » et « Crocoduel » que Luka et Juleka sont très attachés, et nous voyons dans « Silence » et « Vérité » que Luka ne supporte pas les injustices et les gens qui font du mal aux autres. Luka tomberait-il amoureux de quelqu’un qui fait le mal pour le plaisir et ne regrette-t-il pas ses actes en tant que Chloé ? Certainement non. D’autant plus que Chloé et Juleka sont ennemies, et Luka ne voudrait jamais de quelqu’un qui fasse du mal à sa sœur.

Nombreuses personnes allèguent que Luka pourrait « changer » Chloé du côté du bien. Eh bien, pour ce faire, Chloé devrait être ouverte au changement. Certains croient que son expérience en tant que Queen Bee « prouve » qu’elle peut être bonne. Mais en fait, Chloé ne voulait être Queen Bee que pour avoir autant de renommée que Ladybug et Chat Noir. Ses performances en tant qu’héroïne n’ont pas été très notables, sauf dans « Maledikteur » et « Miraculeur », qui impliquaient des personnes intéressantes pour elle (son père et Sabrina). Chloé ne comprenait pas que lorsque Ladybug ne la choisissait pas pour l’aider, ce n’était pas parce que Ladybug ne l’aimait pas, mais parce que cette mission n’avait pas besoin du pouvoir de paralyser. Elle ne comprend pas cela parce qu’elle ne pense pas aux missions comme un moyen d’aider les autres, mais plutôt comme des occasions de se montrer.

Chloé elle-même a déclaré dans « Mangeamour » qu’elle n’aime personne. Et cela signifie qu’elle ne voit les gens que penser à ce que chacun peut offrir à elle. Ses parents sont son gagne-pain (puisqu’elle ne travaille pas encore), Sabrina est son sous-fifre (indiquée clairement dans « Pirkell »), et Adrien est un trophée : la « meilleure » fille (comme elle le pense elle-même) « devrait » rester avec le garçon le plus beau, populaire et désiré de Paris. En somme, Chloé voit Adrien comme Gaston voit Belle dans La Belle et la Bête.

Toute ressemblance n’est pas une simple coïncidence.

Dans « Miracle Queen », Chloé méprise Luka pour porter des vêtements simples. C’est-à-dire que même si elle le trouve « mignon » (ce qui a amené beaucoup à commencer à les shipper instantanément), elle ne le voit pas comme un intérêt amoureux, car comme il est pauvre, il n’offrirait à elle rien qui l’intéresserait. Dans « Pirkell », Chloé demande à Zoé d’écraser ceux qui sont à l’intérieur du bateau, y compris Luka, parce que dans son avis, ils sont des « losers ». Par conséquent, Luka ne serait pas intéressé par Chloé et Chloé n’a aucun intérêt pour Luka.

Concernant une des publicités de Gloob laissant entendre qu’il pourrait y avoir Lukloé (parce qu’elle a lui appelé « mignon »), nous devons nous rappeler un détail important: tout ce que Gloob dit n’est pas officiel. Parfois, la chaîne tente de brouiller les pistes, comme à la fois où le narrateur a laissé entendre que Ladybug et Chat Noir seraient enlevés par des extraterrestres dans « Vérité », et quand il a suggéré qu’Adrien serait jaloux de Luka et Marinette dans « Exauceur ».

Avant que quelqu’un ne dise que Thomas Astruc a déjà fait quelques changements antérieurement - comme la différence d’âge entre Luka et Juleka - et pourrait changer des couples aussi, je dois expliquer une chose. Les différences d’âge sont des détails minimes, qui peuvent en fait être modifiés au cours de la production. Cependant, les couples sont une partie plus importante de cette histoire – et ils suivent une logique – pour cela ils ne sont pas sujets à d’énormes changements.

· Chloé sera seule

Thomas Astruc a déjà dit que Chloé restera avec personne à la fin de la série. Et c’est la plus grande preuve que la blonde ne sera pas petite amie ni d’Adrien, ni de Luka ni de qui que ce soit. J’ai réalisé que beaucoup de ses fans mènent de vraies guerres avec Astruc, l’accusant de « retirer son développement ». Ce qu’ils ne réalisent pas, c’est que Chloé représente des gens qui ont la possibilité de changer, mais parce qu’ils sont égoïstes, ils ne pensent qu’à eux-mêmes. Elle est une méchante, et dans les dessins animés pour les enfants, les méchants sont punis. Astruc est le maître de l’histoire et des personnages, et nous avons vu que son travail suit une logique. Si les fans de Chloé n’aiment pas la façon dont elle va, qu’ils arrêtent de regarder le dessin animé. Moi-même, quand j’ai vu que The Vampire Diaries et Supernatural prenaient des directions que je n’aimais pas, j’ai juste arrêté de regarder. Je ne suis pas allé faire ce rôle ridicule avec les producteurs et les créateurs.

C’est un mensonge que Thomas ait dit que Chloé « est son personnage préféré » et qu’elle « restera avec Luka ». S’il l’a « dit », il était probablement ironique et les fans n’ont pas compris.

Pour ceux qui ne parlent pas espagnol, il y a la déclaration en anglais.

2.2 Pourquoi Luka ne restera pas avec Zoé

Beaucoup de gens ont commencé à shipper Luka et Zoé en raison de la glace que Luka mange dans « Miracle Queen » et « Vérité ». La glace a une boule bleue (couleur du chapeau de Zoé) et une boule rose (couleur de sa mèche). Cependant, nous avons vu dans la logique de la Miracle Box que Luka et Zoé ne peuvent pas rester soit. De plus, les glaces d’André n’ont pas toujours vraiment les couleurs des personnes représentées.

En fait, dans « Glaciator », les glaces de Marinette et d’Adrien représentaient respectivement les couleurs d’Adrien et de Ladybug. Cependant, dans « Mangeamour » et « Mensonge », André représente Adrien et Kagami avec une glace à la menthe poivrée et à l’orange. Nous savons par « Glaciator » que la menthe poivrée représente les yeux verts d’Adrien, mais Kagami n’a rien qui pourrait être représenté par la couleur orange. André représente généralement Marinette avec une glace à la mûre sauvage (faisant référence à ses cheveux), mais dans « Vérité » et « Exauceur », il ne lui donne pas de glace à la mûre sauvage. Dans ce dernier, elle est représentée avec une glace à la framboise et à la cerise, et Luka par une à la pistache et à la noix de pécan (Luka n’ayant rien de vert). La glace bleue et rose est une représentation de Lukanette, pas du destin de Luka (rappelez-vous que le pantalon de Marinette est rose).

Beaucoup de gens ont également spéculé dans les bandes-annonces de « Crocoduel » que Luka approcherait de Zoé. Cependant, tout au long de l’épisode, ils ont à peine interagi. Zoé a démontré qu’elle voit Luka comme un bon ami, et il la voit probablement de la même manière. Il est certain que dans « Desperada » Kagami est monté sur le bateau de Luka un peu comme non invité (parce qu’elle accompagnait Adrien), mais nous voyons dans « Vérité » et « Mensonge » qu’elle a été invitée à regarder le concert de Kitty Section sur le bateau. Même si ce n’était que pour voir Adrien, si sa présence était autorisée c’est parce que Luka la considère comme faisant partie du groupe d’amis. Il est étonnant de voir à quel point le plus grand « argument » des anti-Lukagami est que « Luka et Kagami n’interagissent pas », tandis qu’ils shippent Luka avec Chloé (qui lui méprise et ne connaît même pas son nom) ou avec Zoé (avec qui il a également une interaction minimale). Kagami au moins connaît le nom de Luka, en plus d’avoir tous ces éléments déjà mentionnés au début du texte.

· Le destin de Zoé

En plus de shipper Luka avec Zoé ou avec Chloé (basé, comme je l’ai prouvé, sur des opinions et des interprétations erronées, pas sur des faits), les anti-Lukagami généralement shippent Kagami avec Félix. C’est peut-être l’un des ships les plus aléatoires possible, car il n’y a rien qui unit Kagami à Félix. Certains prétendent que Kagami serait « récompensée » avec un autre « Adrien » (car Félix et Adrien sont identiques), mais dans « M. Pigeon 72 » elle a déjà démontré qu’elle ne voulait plus rien avec Adrien.

Félix et Kagami n’ont même pas été vus ensemble avant « Gabriel Agreste ». Dans « Félix », Kagami est vue brièvement dans un appel vidéo, et il n’a pas été montré si elle a enregistré une vidéo en soutien à Adrien. Félix s’est démarqué dans l’épisode pour avoir fait une vidéo se faisant passer pour Adrien et maltraitant ses amis. Dès le discours de Nathalie, on réalise que c’était Lila qui avait envoyé la vidéo de Félix à Gabriel. Lila, comme Kagami, n’a été vue que sur un tableau lors de l’appel vidéo, n’ayant fait aucune vidéo en soutien à Adrien. Bientôt, si Lila a reçu la vidéo de Félix, il est probable que Kagami l’ait reçu aussi, et en apprenant tout ce qui s’est passé, elle était également en colère contre Félix. C’est pourquoi Kagami a regardé à Félix en colère dans « Gabriel Agreste ».

Si « l’interaction » est la raison pour laquelle Lukagami doit être immérité, alors Lukloé, Lukzoé et Féligami devraient l’être aussi. Mais s’ils ont très envie que Félix ait une petite amie, il y a une indication que peut-être Zoé est la personne parfaite pour lui.

Lors de leurs premières apparitions, Félix et Zoé étaient considérés comme des « copies » d’Adrien et Chloé, respectivement. Félix s’est fait passer pour Adrien dans « Félix » et la forme akumatisée de Zoé est identique à Chloé dans « Pirkell ». J’ai su qu’il y a une possibilité que Félix ne soit pas exactement mauvais, mais qu’il ait plutôt dû recourir à de mauvaises tactiques pour obtenir les alliances de sa famille. Si c’est le cas, il a quelque chose en commun avec Zoé, qui a dû faire semblant d’être mauvaise dans « Pirkell » et « Gabriel Agreste » pour faire plaisir à sa famille et remplir une mission d’aider Marinette. Unir Zoé à Félix ne détruirait pas l’équilibre montré dans la Miracle Box, car son bijou est sans un pair, et elle formerait un couple avec quelqu’un qui n’a pas de Miraculous. C’est-à-dire qu’elle ne « prendrait » aucun Miraculous de son groupe pour former un couple avec elle. Bien sûr, Zoé et Félix n’ont pas non plus interagi jusqu’à présent, mais le dessin animé n’est pas encore terminé. Il y a encore beaucoup de temps pour qu’ils sont interagents. Et mieux encore, il y a encore beaucoup de temps pour que Luka et Kagami interagent.

Bien sûr, il peut y avoir des changements. Il peut arriver que, par exemple, Luka et Kagami terminent le dessin animé seuls, formant un duo de porteurs de Miraculous du zodiaque qu’ont été petits amis des protagonistes du yin-yang et ont été laissés seuls. Mais je trouve ce final serait très triste pour les deux. Luka et Kagami ont montré qu’ils ont beaucoup d’amour à donner, et ils méritent un compagnon pour dédier cet amour.

3- Conclusion

Les éléments audiovisuels de Miraculous Ladybugeux-même indiquent que Luka restera avec Kagami. Les dessins animés et les séries sont très bien planifiés et leur progression ne se fait pas au hasard. Même si les fans de Chloé se battent avec Thomas Astruc, c’est son travail, et c’est à lui de décider comment cela se termine. Les fanfics sont là pour apporter une « évasion » aux fans qui voulaient que les choses soient faites différemment. En eux, les fans peuvent façonner l’univers de Miraculous Ladybug à volonté, mais dans la série originale, Luka et Kagami formeront l’un des couples les plus charmants de l’histoire, avec Marinette / Ladybug et Adrien / Chat Noir.

Por que Lukloé não vai acontecer, mas Lukagami vai

Uma coisa que eu aprendi na faculdade de Rádio e TV é que toda série deixa pistas sobre o que vai acontecer no final. Ainda que haja algumas alterações no decorrer da produção, a linha de raciocínio da história permanece a mesma. Em Miraculous isso não é diferente, e há vários sinais que indicam, inclusive, com quem os personagens vão ficar no final da história.

Alguns desses sinais indicam que Luka e Kagami vão ser um casal. No entanto, há alguns fãs que insistem que Luka deveria ficar ou com Chloé ou com Zoé, mesmo que suas alegações sejam baseadas mais em opiniões pessoais do que em fatos. Neste post, eu vou mostrar porque Luka vai ficar com Kagami, e não com Chloé ou Zoé.

1- Por que Luka vai ficar com Kagami

· Sinais visuais

Personagens são muito bem planejados antes de suas estreias. Tanto suas aparências quanto personalidades são descritas na bíblia da série para que os roteiristas saibam como escrever as histórias. Em Miraculous, eles tiveram todo o cuidado de fazer com que Marinette e Adrien tivessem roupas de cores opostas, para que quando fosse aplicado o filtro negativo, as cores de um fossem iguais às do outro na versão normal. E o mesmo acontece entre Luka e Kagami.

Percebam que Luka e Marinette usam camisas brancas, enquanto Adrien e Kagami usam camisas pretas. Ao mesmo tempo, Luka e Marinette usam adereços nas orelhas (Luka usa alargador e Marinette usa brincos), enquanto Adrien e Kagami usam anéis. Considerando o enredo, percebemos que a intenção do desenho era mostrar que, aparentemente, Luka e Kagami seriam os pares de Marinette e Adrien, mas um casal se forma por duas pessoas que se completam, não necessariamente iguais. E isso tem a ver com a base filosófica do desenho, que se baseia na filosofia chinesa e seus elementos, como o yin-yang. Não é à toa que Ladybug e Cat Noir o representam na caixa de miraculous. E falando nela, ela é mais um sinal de que tanto Adrien e Marinette quanto Luka e Kagami vão ficar juntos.

· A Caixa de Miraculous

A caixa de miraculous é dividida em três grupos, que são relacionados com a filosofia chinesa:

· o yin-yang;

· os cinco elementos da natureza;

· os doze signos do zodíaco chinês.

A filosofia chinesa afirma que deve sempre haver um equilíbrio entre as forças da natureza (o equilíbrio perfeito é representado pelo yin-yang). Isso até o Mestre Fu explicou em “Robustus”. Logo, os miraculous de cada grupo estão ordenados na caixa de uma maneira que mantenham o equilíbrio.

Vamos começar pelos miraculous do zodíaco chinês. Temos rato, boi, tigre, coelho, dragão, cobra, cavalo, cabra, macaco, galo, cão e porco. E sabemos os quais personagens são seus portadores: Mylene, Ivan, Juleka, Alix, Kagami, Luka, Max, Nathaniel, Kim, Marc, Sabrina e Rose. A partir daí, podemos perceber que temos um número par de miraculous/portadores, portanto para manter o equilíbrio, eles formam duplas ou casais. Para focarmos nos casais depois, vamos começar pelas duplas, ou seja, personagens dentro desse grupo que não formam um casal, mas têm uma coisa em comum.

A primeira dupla é Kim (macaco) e Sabrina (cão). Kim era apaixonado por Chloé, mas agora é o namorado de Ondine. Sabrina idolatra Chloé, e teve um breve romance com um garoto americano em “Miraculous World Nova York”. Percebam que, embora Kim e Sabrina não sejam um casal, eles formam uma dupla: são dois portadores de miraculous do zodíaco chinês que têm um interesse amoroso não portador de miraculous. A segunda dupla é Max (cavalo) e Alix (coelho). Thomas Astruc já confirmou que Max é assexual, e que Alix é arromântica. Portanto, já temos mais uma dupla: portadores de miraculous do zodíaco chinês que não terão desenvolvimento amoroso na série.

Sobram Mylene (rato), Ivan (boi), Juleka (tigre), Kagami (dragão), Luka (cobra), Nathaniel (cabra), Marc (galo) e Rose (porco). Nesse grupo, temos alguns casais confirmados: Mylene/Ivan, Juleka/Rose e Marc/Nathaniel. Quem são os únicos que ainda faltam? Luka e Kagami.

Além disso, os signos do zodíaco chinês são divididos nas polaridades yin e yang. Thomas Astruc gosta de trabalhar com esse conceito, e percebemos isso em alguns casais. Ladybug e Cat Noir são a própria representação do yin-yang. Mylene tem o miraculous do rato, um signo de yang, e Ivan tem o miraculous do boi, um signo de yin. O mesmo acontece com Juleka (tigre, yang) e Rose (porco, yin). Quem mais tem um miraculous com um signo de yin e um de yang? Luka (cobra, yin) e Kagami (dragão, yang). Além disso, de acordo com a filosofia chinesa, a união mais auspiciosa é a entre um homem de cobra e uma mulher de dragão. Não é coincidência que Ladybug e Cat Noir usaram, respectivamente, os miraculous do dragão e da cobra para a batalha final da terceira temporada (“Miracle Queen”). Quem é o homem portador do miraculous da cobra? Luka. Quem é a mulher portadora do miraculous do dragão? Kagami.

· Outros sinais

Os nomes dos personagens de uma história nunca são escolhidos por acaso. Sempre há uma referência ou significado por trás. Marinette, por exemplo, é o diminutivo de Marie, o nome francês da Virgem Maria, Nossa Senhora. O nome das joaninhas em inglês (“ladybug”) foi criado como uma referência a ela. Por isso, a heroína com o tema de joaninha recebeu um nome que fizesse referência a Nossa Senhora. Gabriel, além de ser o masculino de Gabrielle (nome da estilista Coco Chanel, ou seja, um bom nome para um personagem estilista), é um nome de anjo. Essa contradição entre Gabriel ser um nome de anjo e o personagem ser extremamente mau é refletida no próprio Gabriel Agreste, que se finge de correto para os outros, mas secretamente é o maior vilão de Paris. Também podemos notar essa questão dos nomes em Lukagami.

O nome Luka significa “luz” em latim, enquanto que o nome Kagami significa “espelho” em japonês. Um espelho só pode funcionar com a luz. A última sílaba do nome Luka é a primeira do nome Kagami. Não é preciso tirar nada do nome deles para formar o nome do casal. Isso indica que Luka e Kagami se encaixam perfeitamente um no outro. Sem contar que uma das formas akumatizadas de Luka se chama Verdade, e uma de Kagami se chama Mentira, o que mostra como eles se completam.

Além disso, há alguns outros detalhes, que trabalham com semelhanças e complementações entre os dois. Tanto Luka quanto Kagami foram criados apenas pelas mães (Anarka é mãe solteira, e eu acredito que Tomoe seja viúva). As mães de ambos estão inseridas na temática dos filhos (Anarka é roqueira como Luka, Tomoe é esgrimista como Kagami). Ambas as mães foram akumatizadas com veículos (Anarka foi akumatizada com seu barco em “Capitã Hardrock”, Tomoe foi akumatizada com seu carro em “Ikari Iozen”). Luka é pobre e foi criado livre, enquanto Kagami é rica e foi criada presa. Essa complementação- que também se observa em Marinette (pobre, livre) e Adrien (rico, preso) - é um dos indícios que Luka e Kagami precisam um do outro.

Kagami já mencionou em “Revanche” e em “Desperada” que ela, e sua família, não acreditam em segunda chance. O poder de Luka como Viperion é justamente chamado de “Segunda Chance”. Apesar de ter sido traído em “Verdade” (no qual ele diz que já sabe que Marinette ama Adrien) e de ter descoberto em “Realizador de Sonhos” que Marinette e Adrien estão destinados, Luka não deixa de amar Marinette, e até diz isso em “Efêmero”. Kagami diz em “Frozer” que o maior erro de uma esgrimista não é escolher a tática errada, mas sim focar no alvo errado. Embora naquele contexto ela estivesse indicando para Adrien que ele deveria começar a focar nela em vez de na garota que ele gostava, percebemos com o avanço da história que na verdade é Luka quem precisa “mudar o alvo”. Ao nutrir esse amor doentio por Marinette, Luka só prejudica a ele mesmo, pois se condena a amar uma mulher que nunca vai amá-lo (como a própria Marinette já disse em “Crocoduel”). Logo, Luka e Kagami podem se ajudar: Luka pode ensinar a Kagami que segundas chances existem (e ela vai precisar acreditar depois do que houve com seus sentimentos em “Mentira”), e pode até enfrentar Tomoe para salvar Kagami daquela vida presa (como a própria Marinette enfrentou Gabriel em “Miraculous World Nova York”). Kagami pode ensinar Luka a se dar mais valor e a mudar seu alvo para alguém que o quer de verdade. Pela experiência que ambos tiveram ao serem traídos por Marinette e Adrien, é claro que Luka e Kagami não trairiam um ao outro. Pelo contrário, seriam um casal que se ajuda e se complementa, tal como Adrien/Cat Noir e Marinette/Ladybug.

Outro ponto importante que une Luka e Kagami é a relação de ambos com a arte. Luka tem uma conexão bem profunda com a música, como mostrado em episódios como “Capitã Hardrock”, “Frozer”, “Silenciador”, “Desperada”, “Verdade” e “Realizador de Sonhos”. Ele se expressa poeticamente usando referências à música, como visto em “Silenciador” e “Realizador de Sonhos”. Kagami tem uma relação similar com desenho, mostrada em “Mentira”. Assim como Luka descreve a melodia como “sincera” em “Silenciador”, Kagami aponta a sinceridade na arte de desenhar em “Mentira”. Quando ajuda Marinette a encontrar uma forma de se declarar a Adrien em “Glaciator 2”, ela também se expressa poeticamente ao descrever a sedução pelo que ela aprendeu em um mangá (um gênero literário que une texto e desenho). Música, desenho e literatura são formas de arte, e Luka e Kagami enxergam a essência desses gêneros.

Portanto, aqueles que diminuem Lukagami como algo “clichê” somente porque o casal é formado pelos ex-namorados dos protagonistas está tendo uma visão muito rasa do assunto. Os dois personagens foram cuidadosamente criados e desenvolvidos para se complementarem e ficarem juntos. Vendo apenas a interação entre os personagens, Nino e Alya também poderiam ser considerados um casal “clichê”, pois há muitas histórias em que os melhores amigos dos protagonistas formam um casal (como High School Musical). Da mesma forma, há muitas obras em que um personagem mau é redimido após iniciar um relacionamento com um personagem bom (como Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure e InuYasha). Logo, Lukloé também poderia ser considerado “clichê”. Thomas Astruc confirmou que Luka não vai ficar com Chloé, e os motivos para isso serão explicados.

2- Por que Luka não vai ficar com Chloé ou Zoé

Apesar de Chloé e Luka serem duas pessoas bem opostas (Chloé representando o mal e Luka representando o bem), a oposição deles não é o tipo que formaria um casal no contexto e filosofia de Miraculous. Para entender melhor por que, é preciso voltar à caixa de Miraculous, que também explica por que ele não pode ficar com Zoé.

· A Caixa de Miraculous

Como foi explicado anteriormente, os miraculous da caixa são divididos em três grupos: o yin-yang, os cinco elementos da natureza e os signos do zodíaco chinês. Além disso, vimos que os miraculous do zodíaco chinês estão em número par, e seus portadores formam duplas ou casais para manter o equilíbrio defendido na filosofia chinesa. Mas para entender a parte de Chloé e Zoé, é preciso explicar os outros grupos da caixa.

A parte do meio da caixa possui cinco miraculous - raposa, abelha, tartaruga, pavão e borboleta - que representam os cinco elementos da natureza segundo a filosofia chinesa: fogo, madeira, terra, água e metal. Percebam que cinco é um número ímpar, diferente do número par dos signos do zodíaco chinês. Dentro dos portadores dos miraculous de elementos, temos um casal - Alya (raposa) e Nino (tartaruga) - e uma dupla: Gabriel (borboleta) e Nathalie (pavão), os vilões. No começo da história, Gabriel e Emilie (pavão) também formavam um casal de portadores de miraculous do mesmo grupo, mantendo o equilíbrio.

Daí percebemos que não há como Luka ficar com Zoé ou Chloé. Seus miraculous são de grupos diferentes (o de Luka é do zodíaco e o de Zoé e Chloé é dos elementos). Portadores de miraculous ou ficam com quem possui um de seu mesmo grupo (exemplo: Marinette/Adrien (yin-yang), Alya/Nino (elementos) e Mylene/Ivan (zodíaco)) ou ficam com quem não tem miraculous nenhum, havendo outro portador que também namora alguém sem miraculous para equilibrar (Kim e Sabrina). Um portador de um tipo de miraculous não pode namorar um portador de outro tipo, pois isso desfaz o equilíbrio.

O miraculous da abelha fica sozinho em seu grupo, pois o número é ímpar. Mas, para entender essa parte, é preciso primeiro entender o que acontece com Chloé e Zoé.

Adendo (03/03/2022): A lógica da caixa de miraculous se aplica aos portadores oficiais (exclui-se os temporários) e que adquiriram seus poderes em época próxima à de Marinette e Adrien (exclui-se os portadores mais antigos, como os do livro de feitiços, e o Mestre Fu), pois a série é focada neles. Lembrando que não se passaram nem 100 anos da época em que Gabriel e Emilie se tornaram portadores para a em que Adrien recebeu seu miraculous. Marinette, por exemplo, foi portadora temporária do miraculous do rato em “Caçadora de Kwamis” e não é namorada de Ivan. Félix usa o miraculous do cão em “Contra-Ataque”, mas Sabrina é a portadora oficial (e é ela quem forma a dupla com Kim, como explicado anteriormente). Os usos temporários dos miraculous do dragão e da cobra por Marinette e Adrien foram usados no texto para demonstrar a visão filosófica chinesa a respeito da união entre uma mulher de dragão e um homem de cobra.

2.1 Por que Luka não vai ficar com Chloé

· Chloé é má (mesmo que seus fãs neguem)

Embora os fãs de Chloé não admitam, a loira é uma personagem criada para ser má. Desde o início da história, ela adora fazer bullying com os seus colegas apenas pelo puro prazer de vê-los sofrer. Um dos exemplos é em “Reflekta”, no qual ela manda Sabrina prender Juleka no banheiro para que ela não pudesse tirar a foto de turma. Isso fez com que Juleka fosse akumatizada. Em momento algum na história Chloé pediu desculpas a Juleka ou a qualquer outro colega. A única exceção foi em “Zombizou”, no qual ela se acerta com a professora Bustier, mas ela fez isso apenas para consolidar seu prestígio junto à professora. Se Chloé realmente estivesse arrependida de seus atos, ela os pararia. No entanto, ela não vê motivos para se acertar com seus colegas (que ela julga inferiores), enquanto que como a professora é uma autoridade, era do seu interesse ter uma boa imagem com ela.

Vemos em “Reflekdoll” e em “Crocoduel” que Luka e Juleka são muito apegados, e vemos em “Silenciador” e “Verdade” que Luka não suporta injustiças e pessoas que fazem maldades para os outros. Luka se apaixonaria por alguém que faz maldades por prazer e não se arrepende de seus atos como Chloé? Definitivamente não. Ainda mais porque Chloé e Juleka são inimigas, e Luka jamais gostaria de alguém que faz maldades para a irmã dele.

Muitos alegam que Luka poderia “mudar” Chloé para o lado do bem. Bom, para isso acontecer, Chloé precisaria estar aberta a mudanças. Alguns acreditam que sua experiência como Queen Bee “prova” que ela pode ser boa. Mas, na verdade, Chloé só quis ser a Queen Bee para ter tanta fama quanto Ladybug e Cat Noir. Suas atuações como heroína não foram muito notáveis, exceto em “Ditador” e em “Miraculer”, que envolviam pessoas interessantes para ela (seu pai e Sabrina). Chloé não entendia que quando Ladybug não a escolhia para ajudar não era porque Ladybug não gostava dela, e sim porque aquela missão não precisava do poder de paralisar. Ela não entende isso porque não pensa nas missões como uma maneira de ajudar os outros e sim como oportunidades de se mostrar.

Chloé mesma afirmou em “Caça-Amores” que ela não ama ninguém. E isso quer dizer que ela só vê as pessoas pensando no que cada uma possa lhe oferecer. Seus pais são seu sustento (já que ela ainda não trabalha), Sabrina é seu capacho (deixado bem claro em “Esmagadora”), e Adrien é um troféu: a “melhor” garota (como ela mesma se acha) “deve” ficar com o garoto mais bonito, popular e desejado de Paris. Em suma, Chloé vê Adrien como Gaston vê Bela em A Bela e a Fera.

Qualquer semelhança não é mera coincidência

Em “Miracle Queen”, Chloé despreza Luka por usar roupas simples. Ou seja, mesmo que ela o ache “bonitinho” (o que fez com que muitos passassem a shippá-los instantaneamente), ela não o vê como um interesse amoroso, pois como ele é pobre, não a ofereceria nada que a interessasse. Em “Esmagadora”, Chloé pede para que Zoé pise nos que estão dentro do barco, incluindo Luka, pois em sua visão eles são “perdedores”. Logo, tanto Luka não se interessaria por Chloé como Chloé não tem nenhum interesse em Luka.

Sobre um dos comerciais do Gloob ter insinuado que poderia haver Lukloé (por ela tê-lo chamado de “bonitinho”), devemos lembrar de um detalhe importante: nem tudo o que o Gloob fala é oficial. Algumas vezes o canal tenta despistar os fãs, como na vez em que o narrador insinuou que Ladybug e Cat Noir seriam abduzidos por alienígenas em “Verdade”, e quando sugeriu que Adrien teria ciúmes de Luka e Marinette em “Realizador de Sonhos”.

Antes que alguém diga que Thomas Astruc já fez algumas mudanças antes - como a ordem de nascimento de Luka e Juleka - e poderia mudar os casais também, eu preciso explicar uma coisa. Idades e ordens de nascimento são detalhes mínimos, que podem ser de fato mudados durante o curso de produção. No entanto, casais são uma parte mais significativa desta história - e eles seguem uma lógica - então eles não estão sujeitos a enormes mudanças.

· Chloé ficará sozinha

Thomas Astruc já disse que Chloé não vai ficar com ninguém no final da série. E essa é a maior prova de que a loira não vai namorar nem com Adrien, nem com Luka, nem com ninguém. Eu percebo que muitos fãs dela travam verdadeiras guerras com Astruc, acusando-o de “tirar o desenvolvimento da personagem”. O que eles não se dão conta é que Chloé representa as pessoas que têm oportunidade de mudar, mas como são egoístas, só pensam em si mesmas. Ela é uma vilã, e em desenhos infantis, os vilões são punidos. Astruc é o dono da história e dos personagens, e vimos que sua obra segue uma lógica. Se os fãs de Chloé não gostam de como a personagem está prosseguindo, que parem de assistir ao desenho. Eu mesma quando vi que The Vampire Diaries e Supernatural estavam tomando rumos que eu não gostei, simplesmente parei de assistir. Não fui fazer esse papelão de brigar com os produtores e criadores.

É mentira que Thomas Astruc disse que Chloé “é sua personagem favorita” e que ela “ficará com Luka”. Se ele “disse” isso, provavelmente estava sendo irônico e as pessoas não entenderam.

Para quem não fala espanhol, está aí a afirmação em inglês.

2.2 Por que Luka não vai ficar com Zoé

Muitos começaram a shippar Luka e Zoé por causa do sorvete que Luka toma em “Miracle Queen” e em “Verdade”. O sorvete tem uma bola azul (cor do chapéu de Zoé) e uma bola rosa (cor da mecha dela). No entanto, vimos pela lógica da caixa de miraculous que Luka e Zoé não podem ficar juntos. Além disso, nem sempre os sorvetes do André têm realmente as cores das pessoas retratadas.

De fato, em “Glaciator”, os sorvetes de Marinette e Adrien representavam as cores de Adrien e Ladybug respectivamente. No entanto, em “Caça-Amores” e “Mentira”, André representa Adrien e Kagami com um sorvete de menta e laranja. Sabemos por “Glaciator” que a menta representa os olhos verdes de Adrien, mas Kagami não tem nada que possa ser representado pela cor laranja. André costuma representar Marinette com um sorvete de amora (fazendo referência a seus cabelos), mas tanto em “Verdade” quanto em “Realizador de Sonhos”, ele não dá sorvetes de amora para ela. Nesse último, ela é representada com sorvetes de morango e cereja, e Luka por um de pistache e nozes (sendo que Luka não tem nada verde). O sorvete azul e rosa é uma representação de Lukanette, não do destino do Luka (lembrando que a calça de Marinette é rosa).

Muitos também especularam pelos trailers de “Crocoduel” que Luka se aproximaria de Zoé. No entanto, em todo o episódio eles mal interagiram. Zoé demonstrou que vê Luka como um bom amigo, e ele provavelmente a vê do mesmo jeito. Está certo que em “Desperada” Kagami entrou no barco de Luka meio sem ser convidada (pois estava acompanhando Adrien), mas vemos em “Verdade” e em “Mentira” que ela foi convidada para assistir ao show da Kitty Section no barco. Mesmo que só tenha sido para ver Adrien, se a presença dela foi permitida é porque Luka a considera parte do grupo de amigos. É incrível como o maior “argumento” que os anti-Lukagami têm é o de que “Luka e Kagami não interagem”, enquanto que shippam Luka com Chloé (que o despreza e não sabe nem seu nome) ou com Zoé (com quem ele também tem uma interação mínima). Kagami pelo menos sabe o nome de Luka, além de ter todos aqueles elementos já citados no começo do texto.

· O destino de Zoé

Além de shippar Luka ou com Zoé ou com Chloé (baseado, como eu provei, em opiniões e más interpretações, não em fatos), os anti-Lukagami costumam shippar Kagami com Félix. Talvez esse seja um dos ships mais aleatórios possíveis, pois não há nada que una Kagami a Félix. Alguns alegam que Kagami seria “recompensada” com um outro “Adrien” (pois Félix e Adrien são idênticos”), mas em “Sr. Pombo 72” ela já demonstrou que não quer ter mais nada a ver com Adrien.

Félix e Kagami sequer foram vistos juntos antes de “Gabriel Agreste”. Em “Félix”, Kagami é vista brevemente em uma videochamada, e não foi mostrado se ela gravou algum vídeo em apoio a Adrien. Félix se destacou no episódio por ter feito um vídeo se passando por Adrien e maltratando seus amigos. Pela fala de Nathalie, percebemos que foi Lila quem mandou o vídeo de Félix para Gabriel. Lila, assim como Kagami, só foi vista em um quadro na videochamada, não tendo feito nenhum vídeo em apoio a Adrien. Logo, se Lila recebeu o vídeo de Félix, é provável que Kagami também tenha recebido, e ao saber de tudo o que aconteceu, ela também tenha ficado brava com Félix. É por isso que Kagami olhou torto para Félix em “Gabriel Agreste”.

Se “interação” for o motivo pelo qual Lukagami tenha que ser desmerecido, então Lukloé, Lukzoé e Féligami também devem ser. Mas, se querem tanto assim arrumar uma namorada para Félix, há um indício de que talvez seja Zoé a pessoa perfeita para ele.

Em suas primeiras aparições, Félix e Zoé foram considerados “cópias” de, respectivamente, Adrien e Chloé. Félix se passou por Adrien em “Félix” e a forma akumatizada de Zoé é idêntica a Chloé em “Esmagadora”. Soube que há uma possibilidade de que Félix não seja exatamente mau, e sim precisou recorrer a táticas más para conseguir as alianças de sua família. Se for assim, ele tem algo em comum com Zoé, que precisou fingir ser má em “Esmagadora” e “Gabriel Agreste” para agradar sua família e cumprir uma missão de ajudar Marinette. Juntar Zoé e Félix não destruiria o equilíbrio mostrado na caixa de Miraculous, pois a joia dela está sem par, e ela formaria um casal com alguém que não tem miraculous. Ou seja, ela não “tiraria” nenhum miraculous de seu grupo para formar um casal com ela. Claro, Zoé e Félix também não interagiram até agora, mas o desenho ainda não acabou. Ainda tem muito tempo para que eles interajam. E, melhor ainda, ainda há muito tempo para que Luka e Kagami interajam.

Claro que pode haver algumas mudanças. Pode acontecer de, por exemplo, Luka e Kagami terminarem o desenho sozinhos, formando uma dupla de portadores de miraculous do zodíaco que namoraram os protagonistas do yin-yang e ficaram sozinhos. Mas eu acho que esse final seria muito triste para ambos. Luka e Kagami mostraram que têm muito amor para dar, e eles merecem uma companhia para dedicarem esse amor.

3- Conclusão

Os próprios elementos audiovisuais de Miraculous indicam que Luka vai ficar com Kagami. Desenhos e séries são muito bem planejados e seus andamentos não ocorrem ao acaso. Mesmo que os fãs de Chloé briguem com Thomas Astruc, a obra é dele, e é ele quem decide como ela vai terminar. As fanfics estão aí para trazer um “escapismo” aos fãs que queriam que as coisas fossem feitas de outra maneira. Nelas, os fãs podem moldar o universo de Miraculous à vontade, mas no desenho original, Luka e Kagami formarão um dos casais mais encantadores da história, juntamente com Marinette/Ladybug e Adrien/Cat Noir.

Por qué Lukloé no ocurrirá, pero Lukagami sí

Una cosa que aprendí en la facultad de radio y televisión es que cada serie deja pistas sobre lo que sucederá al final. Aunque hay algunos cambios en el curso de la producción, la línea de razonamiento de la historia sigue siendo la misma. En Miraculous Ladybug esto no es diferente, y hay varios signos que indican, entre ellos, con quién se quedarán los personajes al final de la historia.

Algunas de estas señales indican que Luka y Kagami van a ser pareja. Sin embargo, hay algunos fans que insisten en que Luka debe quedarse con Chloé o Zoé, incluso si sus afirmaciones se basan más en opiniones personales que en hechos. En este post, te mostraré por qué Luka se quedará con Kagami, no con Chloé o Zoé.

1- Por qué Luka se quedará con Kagami

· Señales visuales

Los personajes están muy bien planeados antes de sus estrenos. Tanto sus apariencias como sus personalidades se describen en la bíblia de la serie para que los escritores sepan cómo escribir las historias. En Miraculous Ladybug, tuvieron mucho cuidado de hacer que Marinette y Adrien usaran ropas de colores opuestos, de modo que cuando se aplicó el filtro negativo, los colores de uno fueran los mismos que los de la otra en la versión normal. Y lo mismo ocurre con Luka y Kagami.

Observe que Luka y Marinette usan camisas blancas, mientras que Adrien y Kagami usan camisas negras. Al mismo tiempo, Luka y Marinette utilizan aretes mientras que Adrien y Kagami utilizan anillos. Teniendo en cuenta la trama, nos dimos cuenta de que la intención del dibujo era mostrar que aparentemente Luka y Kagami serían las parejas de Marinette y Adrien, pero una pareja está formada por dos personas que se completan, no necesariamente iguales. Y esto tiene que ver con la base filosófica del dibujo, que se basa en la filosofía china y sus elementos, como el yin-yang. · La Caja de los Miraculous

La caja de los Miraculous se divide en tres grupos, que están relacionados con la filosofía china:

· el yin-yang;

· los cinco elementos de la naturaleza;

· los doce signos del zodiaco chino.

La filosofía china afirma que siempre debe haber un equilibrio entre las fuerzas de la naturaleza (el equilibrio perfecto es representado por el yin-yang). Esto incluso el Maestro Fu explicó en “Robostus” (AL) / “Robustus” (ES). Por lo tanto, los Miraculous de cada grupo se ordenanen la caja de una manera que mantiene el equilibrio.

Comencemos con los Miraculous del zodiaco chino. Tenemos ratón, buey, tigre, conejo, dragón, serpiente, caballo, cabra, mono, gallo, perro y cerdo. Y sabemos qué personajes son sus portadores: Mylène, Iván, Juleka, Alix, Kagami, Luka, Max, Nathaniel, Kim, Marc, Sabrina y Rose. A partir de ahí, podemos percibir que tenemos un número par de Miraculous / portadores, por lo que, para mantener el equilibrio, forman dúos o parejas. Para centrarnos en las parejas más adelante, comencemos con los dúos, es decir, personajes dentro de este grupo que no forman pareja, sino que tienen una cosa en común.

El primer dúo es Kim (mono) y Sabrina (perro). Kim estaba enamorado de Chloé, pero ahora es el novio de Ondine. Sabrina idolatra a Chloé, y tuvo un breve romance con un chico estadounidense en “Miraculous Nueva York”. Nótese que, aunque Kim y Sabrina no sean una pareja, forman un dúo: son dos portadores de Miraculous del zodiaco chino que tienen un interés amoroso no portador de Miraculous. Lo segundo dúo es Max (caballo) y Alix (conejo). Thomas Astruc ya ha confirmado que Max es asexual, y que Alix es arromántica. Por lo tanto, ya tenemos un dúo más: portadores de Miraculous del zodiaco chino que no tendrán un desarrollo amoroso en la serie.

Sobran Mylène (ratón), Iván (buey), Juleka (tigre), Kagami (dragón), Luka (serpiente), Nathaniel (cabra), Marc (gallo) y Rose (cerdo). Entre este grupo, tenemos algunas parejas confirmadas: Mylène/Iván, Juleka/Rose y Marc/Nathaniel. ¿Quiénes son los únicos que faltan? Luka y Kagami.

Además, los signos del zodiaco chino se dividen en las polaridades yin y yang. A Thomas Astruc le gusta trabajar con este concepto, y lo notamos en algunas parejas. Ladybug y Cat Noir son la propia representación del yin-yang. Mylène tiene el Miraculous del ratón, un signo de yang, e Iván tiene el Miraculous del buey, un signo de yin. Lo mismo ocurre con Juleka (tigre, yang) y Rose (cerdo, yin). ¿Quién más tiene un Miraculous con un signo yin y un de yang? Luka (serpiente, yin) y Kagami (dragón, yang). Además, según la filosofía china, la unión más auspiciosa es entre un hombre de serpiente y una mujer de dragón. No es casualidad que Ladybug y Cat Noir usaran, respectivamente, los Miraculous del dragón y de la serpiente para la batalla final de la tercera temporada (“Miracle Queen” (AL) / “Prodigiosa Reina” (ES)). ¿Quién es el hombre portador del Miraculous de la serpiente? Luka. ¿Quién es la mujer portadora del Miraculous del dragón? Kagami.

· Otros signos

Los nombres de los personajes de una historia nunca se eligen por casualidad. Siempre hay una referencia o significado detrás de ello. Marinette, por ejemplo, es el diminutivo de Marie, el nombre francés de la Virgen María, Nuestra Señora. El nombre de las mariquitas en inglés, “ladybug”, fue creado como una referencia a ella. Por lo tanto, la heroína con el tema de mariquita recibió un nombre que se refería a Nuestra Señora. Gabriel, además de ser el masculino de Gabrielle (nombre de la estilista Coco Chanel, es decir, un buen nombre para un personaje estilista), es un nombre de ángel. Esta contradicción entre que Gabriel sea un nombre de ángel y que el personaje sea extremadamente malvado se refleja en el propio Gabriel Agreste, que finge ser correcto para los demás, pero en secreto es el mayor villano de París. También podemos notar esta cuestión de los nombres en Lukagami.

El nombre Luka significa “luz” en latín, mientras que el nombre Kagami significa “espejo” en japonés. Un espejo solo puede funcionar con luz. La última sílaba del nombre Luka es la primera del nombre Kagami. No tienes que sacar nada de su nombre para formar el nombre de la pareja. Esto indica que Luka y Kagami encajan perfectamente el uno en el otro. Sin mencionar que una de las formas akumatizadas de Luka se llama Verdad, y una de Kagami se llama Mentiras, que muestra cómo se completan a sí mismos.

Además, hay algunos otros detalles, que funcionan con similitudes y complementaciones entre los dos. Tanto Luka como Kagami fueron criados solo por sus madres (Anarka es madre soltera, y creo que Tomoe es viuda). Las madres de ambos se insertan en el tema de los niños (Anarka es una roquera como Luka, Tomoe es una esgrimista como Kagami). Ambas madres fueron akumatizadas con vehículos (Anarka fue akumatizada con su barco en “Capitana Hardrock”, Tomoefue akumatizada con su coche en “Ikari Gozen”). Luka es pobre y fue criado libre, mientras que Kagami es rica y fue criada presa. Esta complementación, que también se observa en Marinette (pobre, libre) y Adrien (rico, preso), es uno de los indicios de que Luka y Kagami se necesitan uno del otro.

Kagami ya ha mencionado en “Riposte” y en “Desperada” que ella, y su familia, no creen en la segunda oportunidad. El poder de Luka como Viperion se llama con razón “Segunda Oportunidad”. Al alimentar este amor enfermizo por Marinette, Luka solo se daña a sí mismo, porque se condena a amar a una mujer que nunca lo amará (como la propia Marinette dijo una vez en “Crocoduelo”). Pronto, Luka y Kagami pueden ayudarse mutuamente: Luka puede enseñarle a Kagami qué segundas oportunidades existen (y ella tendrá que creer después de lo que sucedió con sus sentimientos en “Mentiras”), e incluso puede enfrentar a Tomoe para salvar a Kagami de esa vida presa (como la propia Marinette se enfrentó a Gabriel en “Miraculous Nueva York”). Kagami puede enseñarle a Luka a darse más valor y cambiar su objetivo a alguien que realmente lo quiera. Por la experiencia que ambos tuvieron cuando fueron traicionados por Marinette y Adrien, está claro que Luka y Kagami no se traicionarían el uno al otro. Por el contrario, serían una pareja que se ayuda y se complementa, como Adrien/Cat Noir y Marinette/Ladybug.

Otro punto importante que une a Luka y Kagami es su relación con el arte. Luka tiene una conexión muy profunda con la música, como se muestra en episodios como “Capitana Hardrock”, “Helador” (AL) / “Gélido” (ES), “Silenciador”, “Desperada”, “Verdad” y “Wishmaker” (AL) / “Creasueños” (ES). Él se expresa poéticamente usando referencias a la música, como se ve en “Silenciador” y “Wishmaker” (AL) / “Creasueños” (ES). Kagami tiene una relación similar con el dibujo, que se muestra en “Mentiras”. Así como Luka describe la melodía como “sincera” en “Silenciador”, Kagami señala la sinceridad en el arte de dibujar en “Mentiras”. Por lo tanto, aquellos que disminuyen a Lukagami como algo “cliché” solo porque la pareja está formada por los exnovios de los protagonistas está teniendo una visión muy superficial del tema. Los dos personajes fueron cuidadosamente creados y desarrollados para complementarse y permanecer juntos. Viendo solamente la interacción entre los personajes, Nino y Alya también podrían ser considerados una pareja “cliché”, pues hay muchas historias en las que los mejores amigos de los protagonistas forman pareja (como High School Musical). Del mismo modo, hay muchas obras en las que un personaje malvado es redimido después de comenzar una relación con un buen personaje (como Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure e InuYasha). Pronto, Lukloé también podría ser considerado “cliché”. Thomas Astruc ha confirmado que Luka no se quedará con Chloé, y se explicarán las razones de esto.

2- Por qué Luka no se quedará con Chloé o Zoé

Aunque Chloé y Luka son dos personas muy opuestas (Chloé representa el mal y Luka representa el bien), su oposición no es del tipo que formaría una pareja en el contexto y la filosofía de Miraculous Ladybug. Para entender mejor por qué, se debe volver a la caja de los Miraculous, que también explica por qué él no puede quedarse con Zoé.

· La Caja de los Miraculous

Como se explicó anteriormente, los Miraculous de la caja se dividen en tres grupos: el yin-yang, los cinco elementos de la naturaleza y los signos del zodiaco chino. Además, hemos visto que los Miraculous del zodiaco chino están en números pares, y sus portadores forman dúos o parejas para mantener el equilibrio defendido en la filosofía china. Pero para entender la parte de Chloé y Zoé, es necesario explicar los otros grupos de la caja.

La parte central de la caja presenta cinco Miraculous: zorro, abeja, tortuga, pavo real y mariposa - que representan los cinco elementos de la naturaleza según la filosofía china: fuego, madera, tierra, agua y metal. Observe que cinco es un número impar, diferente del número par de los signos del zodiaco chino. Dentro de los portadores de los Miraculous de los elementos, tenemos una pareja - Alya (zorro) y Nino (tortuga) - y un dúo: Gabriel (mariposa) y Nathalie (pavo real), los villanos. Al comienzo de la historia, Gabriel y Emilie (pavo real) también formaron una pareja de portadores de Miraculous del mismo grupo, manteniendo el equilibrio.

Entonces percibimos que no hay como Luka quedarse con Zoé o Chloé. Sus Miraculous son de grupos diferentes (el Luka es del zodiaco y el de Zoé y Chloé es de los elementos). Los portadores de Miraculous o se quedan con aquellos que poseen uno de su mismo grupo (por ejemplo: Marinette / Adrien (yin-yang), Alya / Nino (elementos) y Mylène / Iván (zodíaco)) o se quedan con aquellos que no tienen ningún Miraculous, habiendo otro portador que también se queda con alguien sin Miraculous para equilibrar (Kim y Sabrina). Un portador de un tipo de Miraculous no puede ser novio de un portador de otro tipo, ya que esto desfaz el equilibrio.

El Miraculous de la abeja se queda solo en su grupo, porque el número es impar. Pero para entender esta parte, primero hay que entender lo que les pasa a Chloé y Zoé.

Adenda (03/03/2022): La lógica de la caja de los Miraculous se aplica a los portadores oficiales (excluidos los temporales) y que han adquirido sus poderes en un momento cercano al de Marinette y Adrien (los portadores más antiguos, como los del libro de Miraculous, y el Maestro Fu son excluidos), porque la serie se centra en ellos. Recordando que hay ni 100 años entre cuando Gabriel y Emilie se convirtieran en portadores y cuando Adrien recibió su Miraculous. Marinette, por ejemplo, fue portadora temporal del Miraculous del ratón en “Cazadora de Kwamis” (AL) / “Cazakwamis” (ES) y no es la novia de Iván. Félix usa el Miraculous del perro en “Contraataque”, pero Sabrina es la portadora oficial (y es ella quien forma el dúo con Kim, como se explicó anteriormente). Los usos temporales de los Miraculous del dragón y de la serpiente por Marinette y Adrien fueron utilizaron en el texto para demostrar la visión filosófica china sobre la unión entre una mujer de dragón y un hombre de serpiente.

2.1 Por qué Luka no se quedará con Chloé

· Chloé es mala (aunque sus fans lo nieguen)

Aunque los fans de Chloé no lo admitan, la rubia es un personaje creado para ser malo. Desde el comienzo de la historia, le encanta intimidar a sus colegas solo por el puro placer de verlos sufrir. Un ejemplo está en “Reflekta”, en el que le ordena a Sabrina que prende a Juleka en el baño para que ella no pueda tomar la foto de la clase. Esto causó que Juleka fuera akumatizada. En ningún momento de la historia Chloé se disculpó con Juleka o cualquier otro colega. La única excepción fue en “Zombesito” (AL) / “Zombimuac” (ES), en la que ella se excusa con la profesora Bustier, pero lo hizo solamente para consolidar su prestigio con la maestra. Si Chloé realmente lamentara sus actos, los detendría. Sin embargo, no ve ninguna razón para excusarse con sus compañeros de clase (que considera inferiores), mientras que como la maestra es una autoridad, le interesaba tener una buena imagen con ella.

Vemos en “Muñekta” (AL) / “Reflekdoll” (ES) y “Crocoduelo” que Luka y Juleka son muy apegados, y vemos en “Silenciador” y “Verdad” que Luka no soporta injusticias y personas que hacen el mal a los demás. ¿Se enamoraría Luka de alguien que hace el mal por placer y no se arrepiente de sus actos como Chloé? Definitivamente no. Especialmente porque Chloé y Juleka son enemigas, y Luka nunca querría a alguien que le haga el mal a su hermana.

Muchos afirman que Luka podría “cambiar” a Chloé al lado del bien. Bueno, para que eso suceda, Chloé tendría que estar abierta al cambio. Algunos creen que su experiencia como Queen Bee (AL) / Reina Aguijón (ES) “prueba” que ella puede ser buena. Pero, de hecho, Chloé solo quería ser Queen Bee (AL) / Reina Aguijón (ES) para tener tanta fama como Ladybug y Cat Noir. Sus actuaciones como heroína no fueron muy notables, excepto en “Maledictator” (AL) / “Maldiktador” (ES) y “Miraculer” (AL) / “Prodigiosa” (ES), que implicaban personas interesantes para ella (su padre y Sabrina). Chloé no entendía que cuando Ladybug no la eligió para ayudar no fue porque Ladybug no le gustara, sino porque esa misión no necesitaba el poder de paralizar. Ella no entiende eso porque no piensa en las misiones como una forma de ayudar a los demás, pero como oportunidades para exhibirse.

La propia Chloé declaró en “Cazacorazones” que no ama a nadie. Y eso significa que solo ve a la gente pensando en lo que cada uno puede ofrecerle. Sus padres son su medio de vida (ya que ella aún no trabaja), Sabrina es su sirviente (dejado claro en “Reina Aplastante” (AL) / “Aplastadora” (ES)), y Adrien es un trofeo: la “mejor” chica (como ella misma cree) “debe” quedarse con el chico más hermoso, popular y deseado de París. En una suma, Chloé ve a Adrien como Gastón ve a Bella en La bella y la bestia.

Cualquier similitud no es mera coincidencia.

En “Miracle Queen” (AL) / “Prodigiosa Reina” (ES), Chloé desprecia a Luka por usar ropa sencilla. Es decir, aunque ella lo considere “lindo” (lo que hizo con que muchos pasasen a shipparlos al instante), ella no lo ve como un interés amoroso, porque como es pobre, no le ofrecería nada que le interesara. En “Reina Aplastante” (AL) / “Aplastadora” (ES), Chloé le pide a Zoé que aplaste los que están dentro del barco, incluso Luka, porque en su opinión son “perdedores”. Luego, tanto Luka no se interesaría por Chloé como Chloé no tiene interés en Luka.

Sobre uno de los comerciales de Gloob que insinúa que podría haber Lukloé (porque ella lo llamó “lindo”), debemos recordar un detalle importante: no todo lo que Gloob dice es oficial. A veces el canal intenta despistar a los fans, como en la vez en que el narrador insinuó que Ladybug y Cat Noir serían secuestrados por extraterrestres en “Verdad”, y cuando sugirió que Adrien estaría celoso de Luka y Marinette en “Wishmaker” (AL) / “Creasueños” (ES).

Antes de que alguien diga que Thomas Astruc ya ha hecho algunos cambios antes (como la diferencia de edad entre Luka y Juleka) y también podría cambiar las parejas, necesito explicar una cosa. Las diferencias de edad son detalles mínimos, que de hecho pueden cambiarse durante el curso de la producción. Sin embargo, las parejas son una parte más importante de esta historia (y siguen una lógica), entonces no están sujetas a grandes cambios.

· Chloé será sola

Thomas Astruc ya ha dicho que Chloé no se quedará con nadie al final de la serie. Y esa es la mayor prueba de que la rubia no será novia ni de Adrien ni de Luka ni de nadie. Percibo de que muchos de sus fans libran verdaderas guerras con Astruc, acusándolo de “quitarle el desarrollo”. Lo que no se dan cuenta es que Chloé representa a personas que tienen la oportunidad de cambiar, pero como son egoístas, solo piensan en sí mismas. Ella es una villana, y en los dibujos animados para niños, los villanos son castigados. Astruc es el dueño de la historia y de los personajes, y hemos visto que su obra sigue una lógica. Si a los fans de Chloé no les gustan de cómo va el personaje, que dejen de ver el dibujo animado. Yo misma cuando vi que The Vampire Diaries y Supernatural estaban tomando direcciones que no me gustaban, simplemente dejé de verlos. No fui a hacer este papel ridículo de pelear con los productores y creadores.

Es mentira que Thomas dijera que Chloé “es su personaje favorito” y que “se quedará con Luka”. Si lo “dijo”, probablemente estaba siendo irónico y la gente no entendió.

2.2 Por qué Luka no se quedará con Zoé

Muchos comenzaron a shippar Luka y Zoé debido al heladoque Luka toma en “Miracle Queen” (AL) / “Prodigiosa Reina” (ES) y “Verdad”. El helado tiene una bola azul (color del sombrero de Zoé) y una bola rosa (color de su mecha). Sin embargo, hemos visto por la lógica de la caja de los Miraculous que Luka y Zoé no pueden quedarse juntos. Además, los helados de André ni siempre tienen los colores de las personas retratadas.

De hecho, en “Glaciador”, los helados de Marinette y Adrien representaban los colores de Adrien y Ladybug respectivamente. Sin embargo, en “Cazacorazones” y “Mentiras”, André representa a Adrien y Kagami con un helado de menta y naranja. Sabemos por “Glaciador” que la menta representa los ojos verdes de Adrien, pero Kagami no tiene nada que pueda ser representado por el color naranja. André generalmente representa a Marinette con un helado de mora (haciendo referencia a su cabello), pero tanto en “Verdad” como en “Wishmaker” (AL) / “Creasueños” (ES), no le da helado de mora. En esta última, ella es representada helados de fresa y cereza, y Luka por un de pistacho y nuez (siendo que Luka no tiene nada verde). El helado azul y rosa es una representación de Lukanette, no del destino de Luka (recordando que los pantalones de Marinette son rosas).

Muchos también especularon en los tráileres de “Crocoduelo” que Luka se acercaría de Zoé. Sin embargo, a lo largo del episodio ellos mal interactuaron. Zoé ha demostrado que ve a Luka como un buen amigo, y probablemente la ve de la misma manera. Es cierto que en “Desperada” Kagami se subió al barco de Luka un poco como sin invitación (porque acompañaba a Adrien), pero vemos en “Verdad” y “Mentiras” que fue invitada a ver el show de Kitty Section en el barco. Aunque fuera solo para ver a Adrien, si su presencia fue permitida es porque Luka la considera parte del grupo de amigos. Es increíble cómo el mayor “argumento” que tienen los anti-Lukagami es que “Luka y Kagami no interactúan”, mientras que shippan Luka con Chloé (que lo desprecia y ni siquiera sabe su nombre) o con Zoé (con quien él también tiene una interacción mínima). Kagami al menos conoce el nombre de Luka, además de tener todos aquellos elementos ya mencionados al principio del texto.

· El destino de Zoé

Además del shippar Luka o con Zoé o con Chloé (basado, como demostré, en opiniones y malas interpretaciones, no en hechos), los anti-Lukagami suelen shippar Kagami con Félix. Quizás esta sea una de los shipps más aleatorios posibles, porque no hay nada que una Kagami a Félix. Algunos afirman que Kagami sería “recompensada” con otro “Adrien” (porque Félix y Adrien son idénticos), pero en “Señor Pichón 72” (AL) / “Monsieur Pigeon 72” (ES) ya ha demostrado que no quiere tener nada más con Adrien.

Félix y Kagami ni siquiera fueron vistos juntos antes de “Gabriel Agreste”. En “Félix”, Kagami se ve brevemente en una videollamada, y no se ha demostrado si grabó algún video en apoyo de Adrien. Félix se destacó en el episodio por hacer un video haciéndose pasar por Adrien y maltratar a sus amigos. A partir del discurso de Nathalie, nos dimos cuenta de que fue Lila quien le envió el video de Félix a Gabriel. Lila, al igual que Kagami, solo fue vista en una tabla en la videollamada, sin haber hecho ningún video en apoyo de Adrien. Supe que existe la posibilidad de que Félix no sea exactamente malo, sino que haya tenido que recurrir a tácticas malas para conseguir las alianzas de su familia. Si es así, tiene algo en común con Zoé, quien tuvo que fingir ser mala en “Reina Aplastante” (AL) / “Aplastadora” (ES) y “Gabriel Agreste” para complacer a su familia y cumplir una misión de ayudar a Marinette. Unir Zoé a Félix no destruiría el equilibrio que se muestra en la caja de los Miraculous, ya que la joya de ella está sin par, y ella formaría una pareja con alguien que no tiene Miraculous. Es decir, ella no “tomaría” ningún Miraculous de su grupo para formar una pareja con ella. Por supuesto, Zoé y Félix tampoco han interactuado hasta ahora, pero el dibujo animado aún no ha terminado. Los propios elementos audiovisuales de Miraculous Ladybug indican que Luka se quedará con Kagami. Los dibujos animados y las series son muy bien planificados y sus progresos no se producen al azar. Aunque los fans de Chloé pelean con Thomas Astruc, es su trabajo, y depende de él cómo termina. Las fanfics están ahí para traer un “escapismo” a los fans que querían que las cosas se hicieran de manera diferente. En ellas, los fans pueden dar forma al universo de Miraculous Ladybug a voluntad, pero en el diseño original, Luka y Kagami formarán una de las parejas más encantadoras de la historia, junto con Marinette / Ladybug y Adrien / Cat Noir.
