So listen, there's the whole "Rauru and Sonia being the first king and queen of hyrule" thing. But i don't think they actually founded hyrule, replacing skyward sword link and zelda like ppl think. I think they RE-founded hyrule, after it was destroyed by Ganon.

Zelda looks at the mural and calls it "The imprisioning war"

And seeing what I have from the dragons' tears, she seems to be experiencing this while she's in eeby deeby (the past)

According to the Zelda timeline, the imprisoning war happens in the downfall timeline, right before ALTTP

So Zelda is Here^

So basically I don't think they actually founded Hyrule, like the one that exists from post Skyward sword to OOT, but rather Re-Founded it

Did Rauru and Sonia found Hyrule some time after Skyward Sword Link and Zelda came to the surface,

Or

Did they re-found Hyrule after all the other games had fallen into myth?

I was thinking about Zelda's hair in Tears of the Kingdom and how as well as being shorter it's also always braided.

I thought it was kinda strange at first because if you think of her Zonai dress replacing her royal gown you'd think she'd take her braids down.

But maybe it's because she likes having it braided, and in the past was expected to wear it down.

All this is to say, Zelda is self assured enough to wear her hair the way she wants without conforming to others expectations and Sonia and Rauru are better parents than King Rhoam.
