I'm not quite sure how this came to pass, and frankly I'm too tired to ask the questions necessary to find out, but basically my mom somehow wound up helping a couple rapidly empty out their apartment in preparation for a move back to China. She's helping them get the stuff they're not taking with them donated to various charitable organizations who can make use of it. However, some of the stuff is this:

what appears to be handcrafted Nendoroid-style figures (made out of foam clay) and a number of accessories and tools that were probably used to make them. She asked me, as resident nerd, to identify them, but I don't recognize any of them. Their maker didn't seem to have enough English to explain anything about them to my mom, who probably would have needed quite an explanation to understand this anyways.

Anyone recognize these characters?
