If my SWSH favs were dogs… Bede would be a chihuahua no doubt in my mind. A white longhair that bites people so so hard. Leon? Labrador (reliable, friendly, widely loved). Raihan is difficult. Perhaps saluki or a similar hound.

Milo has to be some kind of a working dog? But most aren’t chill like he is… Old English sheepdog

There was a piece of art that had Bede as an aggressive little dog (Pomeranian) being held by Leon it was incomprehensible to me but I loved it. I lost it at one point

I forgot to mention I saw the fuckin’ smallest dog at work yesterday, and I don’t mean a potat mode creature, I mean it was like they took a normal sized dog and went, “Yes, but what if we got the sedan instead of the SUV?”

This dog had a nose half the size of my thumb and paws about as big.

Her owner picked her up with one hand, which managed to support all of the parts you need to when lifting an animal.

This thing probably weighed less than 5lbs.

Miniscule beast.

On the topic of small dogs, there’s two regular pups that come in that I adore.

There’s a little longhaired terrier who comes in with his owner, who is this huge electrician, and every time they come in, this little guy trots in all shy and his owner will talk up his confidence in the most endearing way.

Suffice to say he gets a free treat every time.

And then there’s this dapper little gentleman of a teacup chihuahua, who belongs to an older woman who dresses him up in little sweaters whenever they go out together.

He waddles around a bit, because he had a birth defect that resulted in him being surrendered to a shelter by the breeder he came from, and his owner adopted him and paid to have it corrected out of pocket, because she saw this little guy and knew he was more than worth it.

He sounds like a truck driving over gravel when he barks and we love him for it.
