Another loaded episode of Lore Olympus, so let's dive in...
Let's start with Aphrodite. Understandably, she's upset that Eros and Psyche are missing. Obviously, wannabe-king Apollo isn't going to broadcast that, but that doesn't mean folks aren't going to notice that three gods are now missing after Zeus went into a coma.
(Is that the Horrible Goose running amok in the background?)
Why the fuck do you want Eros' arrows, SPECIFICALLY the ones for true love? They don't work the way that you think that they do!
Look at what happened with the truth arrow. Anyone looking at Apollo when that thing hit saw the truth... the horrible, nasty truth about what he did. (I believe it was Daphne? That was what led to her getting "treed.")
If Apollo thinks a true love arrow is going to make Persephone fall in love with him (and thus, give him access to her fertility goddess powers) then he's in for a rude surprise. If anything, she'll lend her powers to Hades so that they can kick Apollo's ass together like a power couple!
Or, maybe he has something worse in mind? Let's hope not.
Shit is still going down in the Mortal Realm. Apollo doesn't waste a moment blaming Persephone for it on TV.
Hey fucknugget, unless I'm mistaken, sun gods/goddesses were banned from the Underworld LONG before Hades and Persephone were even a thing. And Persephone made the right decision escaping to the Underworld to get away from your r*pey ass. Choke on a long, splintery battering ram!
Even in the physical safety of the Underworld, Apollo still has the power to harm with his words. It's bad enough that Persephone is guilt-wracked by her rearranged powers causing havoc, but hearing Apollo's gaslighting on the TV is only making it worse
The title of this chapter is "Wheat", and we sure are seeing a lot of it here with Persephone. That mural on the wall seems to be watching her.
We're pretty certain that Persephone was originally supposed to take over for Demeter at some point. Well, that's not happening. The wheat imagery here seems to represent what was planned to happen. As it closes in more and more around her, there's the sense of Persephone being smothered by the old plans for her.
On the other hand, I can't help but wonder if, in some way, the mural is trying to point her in a particular direction. Wheat can be grown, harvested, and stored; this is what the mortals need to know and learn to survive the (now) long winters.
We've been watching Persephone progressively sweating more and more throughout this chapter. While she's talking to this nymph, her vision gets blurry until she passes out.
She's running a fever and is put on bed rest immediately. There could be so many things causing this that it's hard to nail it down to just one.
The situation with the Mortal Realm
Her wonky powers
Apollo gaslighting her on tv
Maybe it's Kronos
Whatever the case, she is not doing well at the moment.
While she's in bed, Demeter comes to see her. Persephone voices her worries to her mother, and Demeter seems to actively listen.
"I barely know anything about myself..."
The cliffhanger is Demeter saying "Wait..."
Will this turn into an honest heart-to-heart conversation? Will important secrets get revealed? Will Apollo get shot in the ass with a truth arrow on live TV? (GAWD, I hope so!)

Yandere Lore Olympus: Eros
Sfw:
- Eros is one of if not, THE softest yandere in lore Olympus.
- One of the reasons he could have fallen for you are a humble person. As much as our lover boy loves the excitement that happens in Olympus around nearly every corner, even he needs a breather. That breather being you.
- It wouldn't take Eros long to catch feelings for you. It won't happen instantly like at first glance, but it would happen shortly after meeting you and getting to know you.
- He is somewhat aware of his unhealthy love for you. Eros doesn't want his unhealthy feeling toward you to negatively affect you, so he tries to tone it down a bit. Which works for the most part
- Eros has never been the one to hide his affections, so he'll confess a bit early.
- If you accept his confession........
- It is know fact that Eros is a fashion icon. So best believe he'll love to dress you up in all the cute clothes he buys you ( He'll only dress you in things you're comfy with )
- Eros's pet name for you is dove
- Loves domestic life with you. If you're cooking, he's running a bath fit the both of you. If you're making the bed, he's picking out both your outfits for the day.
- If you can't fly, he'll take you on rides through the 3 realms if you'd like.
- Has a pet pig. You're Both of their parents.
- Will teach you archery if you'd like ( It'll be one of his favorite bonding experiences with you )
- Would really like it if you'd help watch his little siblings
- Loves to watch you sleep ( whether you're aware of it or not )
- Loves watching you do the things you enjoy doing ( Again, whether you're aware of it or not )
- Would tickle you with his wings and feathers
- So in short, your relationship would be cute and wholesome. But that's.. IF... You accept his confession for you.........
- Well, what would happen if you don't accept his love?
- Not good things for sure........
- I'm going to assume that everyone reading this is aware of the Psyche incident...... Well thankfully that won't happen... yet............
- At first, Eros is deeply hurt.
- What did he do wrong? Did his nasty feelings show too much that it was enough to scare you away.. or... OR.. Is there someone else........
- If it's the first scenario I said, Eros would surprise back away from you. Yes; it would pain him, but if it's what he needs to do to secure your love then so be it.
- He'll try his luck next time when everything has been aired out....
- Now if it's the second scenario, Eros would use his powers as a love deity. He would be careful to make sure to not get caught ( Remember Hera has banned him and his mother from using their powers against other deities ). But before he goes through with it, he'll think about it first. I mean; this person/ being can make you even happy... but on the other hand give him a chance ( And you will give him a chance ).
- Most likely, Eros uses a hate arrow on his rival. To spare you from the heartbreak since he knows from experience how bad it can hurt, he'll have you see his rival's most undesirable attributes.
- If it's a combination of the 2 scenarios up above...... That's when things truly take a darker turn.
- To put it shortly, Eros.. Will go... Ape shit....
- Giving you space is a decision he'll come to regret later now that you found someone new. And by the gods....... Eros will begin to crack.
- Eros would try everything in his power to fix this. Shooting his arrows to bend the situation to his desired results, even going as far as to hurt his rival. And yet another fatal mistake on his part.
- Why??? Because you bared witness to what he did this time.
- And now with everything being too much to handle. The heartache, the heartbreak; Eros did the one thing that had been on his mind since the cause of this mess..... YOU.
- So with half a mind and a weighing broken heart.... Eros took you away.
- Eros took you to a private floating island that very few know of. It was supposed to be both of you shared a home when you agreed to move in with him, but now it's been vacated as your gilded cage.
- If you were a deity or anything that isn't human, He'll have Hephaestus make a wedding ring that acts as a repellent for your powers.
- Eros would never inflict harm on you. Even when you got out of line. Just leave you in your locked bedroom for a long period until you are too tired to fight anymore...
- He tried and failed to get you to love him on your own accord, but it couldn't be helped. He just hopes that you'll love him one day.
- And maybe, just maybe...... He'll set you free again ( that's when you love him that is ).............
- But hey! That'll hopefully never happen. Eros for the most part is one of the wholesome yanderes in lore Olympus. Just accept his love and there will be no problems...........

I think this is the first Eros and Psyche drawing I鈥檝e done and actually liked, which is a shame considering (as I鈥檝e probably said already) they were my favorites as a kid before Hades and Persephone, and now recently Aphrodite and Ares. I miss them in the main narrative 馃挏

Mid-season finale is here and another hiatus is kicking in for Lore Olympus. Gahdamn.....what a doozy...
Let's start with Kassandra's prophesy. Psyche & Eros got it out of her with....a magic pink candle?.... and realized Apollo's plan to poison Zeus. They reach out to Zeus as fast as they can, but are they in time?
This bit here may seem a bit thrown in edge-wise, but it is something that Hades should know since they have been on/off dealing with the Kronos problem.
It's also good to see that they are still communicating with one another. They've had hiccups, to be sure, especially with Zeus giving birth to Dionysos, but Zeus isn't forcing secrecy here, so Persephone can be open about what's going on with Hera.
It's the ceremony on the eve of spring. Persephone is here to do her thing while Demeter & Hades look on. At first, there's an uncomfortable silence between them, and then Hades does this.
Despite all the animosity between them, Hades offers an olive branch. I mean, it's in the form of volcanoes, but you get the idea.
So the reason Hades resisted giving up the volcanoes is because they were a gift from his mom. Since volcanoes start underground (in the Underworld, one might say) and reach into the Mortal plain, it was a connection Hades was reluctant to give up.
Maybe, in an odd way, by offering this "connection" Hades is asking that they actively work to improve their relationship together. Just a theory.
Can I just say that Persephone looks lovely, yet sad here?
Something has gone horribly wrong! It's supposed to be spring, yet there's snow on the ground!
Also of note, the leaves in Persephone's hair look faded or frosted. They are usually vibrant green, but that's not the case here.
Oh shit! The God that Apollo has been talking to has been guiding him to usurp Zeus. Apollo extracted the needed prophesy from Kassandra. He got the herb...
....and gave it to Zeus. Eros and Psyche were too late. With help, Apollo seems to be taking over Olympus, and stealing Persephone's powers if the return of winter is any indication.
And who do we have to actively thank for Apollo's success?
Ouranos. Not grandpa Kronos, but great-grandpa Ouranos. This is going to end poorly......
And with that cliffhanger, Lore Olympus goes on hiatus again......
