The Electric Light Orchestra - ELO 2 (EMI-Harvest UK/United Artists US, 1973) - Artwork and Graphics by Ronchetti & Day, design by Hipgnosis, concept by Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy
This features a lightbulb ship similar in style to the lamp from the debut album. I like the space theme here. Hipgnosis never misses.
UA didn't like the cover much, though, so they commissioned a new cover for the US market, designed by Lloyd Ziff with art direction by Mike Salisbury. Instead of traveling through space, the light bulb is traveling above a valley through the night sky. Also, the bulb is more embellished.
