This humoungous pack has displaced the original owners of this region -the Kallang Otters- into the ECP Smooth Coated Otters are a very common sight in the waters of mainland Singapore. The success story of the revival of Singapore’s national animal is an epitome of how wildlife and humanity can coexist together. While the Kallang and Bishan families are well known to the general public, little do people know that the island of Pulua Ubin, is home to Singapore’s second and much more elusive and rare otter species - Asian Small Clawed Otters- the world’s smallest otter species.
