ok but pop punk music literally saved my life
#the number of times I was so depressed or anxious and if put on like a panic or fob or mychem song#and it'd give me the energy and motivation to keep going#patd#fob#mcr#like literally i wouldnt be here#if i was mad and needed something to vent it there would be a song#the parties I went to where I'd play or there would be a pop punk song playing#literally my 16th birthday we had panic and fall out and mychem playing#when i lost everything in 2013 that was there#when I was being abused it was there#when I was literally planning on k****** ****** it was there#I remember walking around uni not wanting to go home but I had to and I'd put on a song and just soak up the one good moment I have#and think like. man it's all going to be okay one day#literally i owe these bands my life#i mean i listened to some of these songs on my graduation night#both high school and uni#after i had my first kiss#my first party#when i moved out for the first time#like fuck. it's always been there with me holding my hand#the nights my friends and I would drive around in high school and blast this sort of music with the windows down#mine
