Limbo + Abbacchio

stable only because when Limbo started panicking in the mindspace, Abbacchio simply pointed and snapped at her to CALM THE FUCK DOWN. and she did so immediately.
nicer than Abbacchio. not by that much, though… but weirdly apologetic about it.
the eyeliner doesn’t appear to be due to crying, it seems that it just looks like that.

genuinely the softest cutest sweetest lil bitch you’ve ever seen. also traumatised with a guilty conscience and can flip on a dime in a terrifying way.
shortest Limbo fusion for no clear reason? shorter than both Limbo and Giorno.

Stand: Crystal Dolphin - can transform signals into life—by taking the signals out of something, typically disabling it, they can create life like Gold Experience can. The more complex the device, the bigger its potential creation.

has no idea what’s going on for some reason? always looks a little confused and loses track of conversations very quickly.
very good with kids! practically unable to have a coherent conversation with Abbacchio. They don’t seem too distressed, but they just stop making much sense and seem to confuse themselves.
Stand: When Doves Cry? Perhaps Freewill? Uhm… I don’t know? Maybe it can sort of, ‘zip’ signals together, combining two or more functions into one sent signal? Bruno's ability is just so specific... I can't think of many ideas.
Limbo + Fugo

AuDHD trauma poster child. Short fuse but very friendly until something sets them off and they start screaming and or burst into fucking tears.
Self-love in the sense that the fusionmates care about each other deeply and both sides are trying to look out for the other knowing the other won't look out for themself.
Stand: Cabin Fever - Terrifying deathly virus that, rather than being airborne like Purple Haze, is passed though signal transmission. Fimbo doesn’t know if the virus is the same as Purple Haze, a different strain of it, or something entirely different. It spreads most quickly through vocal communication between two people.

Semi-regularly, I see people saying that Lio (or sometimes Galo) should have killed Kray in Promare, and I just can't vibe with that. I'm glad it didn't go there.
I know that stories (especially action-oriented ones) tend to go for the immediate satisfaction of revenge-style justice, but I think if someone had killed Kray, it would have been like the story was saying his worldview was the correct one. "I believe I'm in the right, so I can decide who lives and who dies and if I choose to kill someone it's justified." And I always appreciate it when a story rejects that point of view entirely. Hell, that concept is even touched on in the lyrics to NEXUS: Are we gonna get to choose/who will live and who will die?
And the movie answers that question when Galo says that he'll even save Kray, too. I love how personally offended Kray looks at that. When you're that certain that humanity is self-serving and corrupt, and everyone else is just as bad as you are, seeing someone flat out reject that point of view is a real slap in the face.
(As an aside, my gay heart melts that the order he promised to save things in was 1. Lio, 2. The Entire Earth, 3. And You Too, I Guess.)
I think the story's message is better for the good guys not killing the villain, even if as an audience we think he would deserve it.

i think what makes me love Lio Fotia so much is what a disconnect internal and external beauty has in the lens of his development. he starts out pristine and effortless, but hes painted to be ugly and revolting. and then as he develops and that image breaks down, he becomes beautiful and worthy to the audience and protagonist? very good. very good thanks

REALLY wish ppl who talk abt how they ‘read lio as nonbinary’ whatever way they say that know that it is not the epic transgender ally win they think it is to say that, at least not the way they r saying it (like sometimes the way ur saying smth or why u believe smth is transphobic/homophobic!). like the character who is just a feminine gay man who has no comments made abt his appearance no question abt his gender he isnt identifying or is read any way but as a man like just rly isnt the appropriate choice for u to say hes ‘basically not a man’ bcuz of his appearance. bcuz thats just kind of fucked up and shitty. esp in promare where galos love interest is a man for a reason (and if ur saying ‘well i Read lio as not a man so promare isnt GAY exactly’ like okay well thats just homophobia dude). also when theyre like ‘lios nonbinary bcuz hes androgynous not galo tho cuz galos masculine so galos Very Male’ like just. big misunderstanding of what nonbinary even is or means or ‘who can be nonbinary’ like.. how are you fucking up this bad is all. reading chars as trans isnt ‘bad’ inherently (OBVIOUSLY??) its like the way u go about this the way u explain urself the way ur viewing gender n presentation n how ur talking abt gay men... like i think galo and lio r trans and their writing n characters become expontially better and work in a much cooler and more fun way thru that but saying 'lio is not a man bcuz hes too feminine’ is bad!
