its strange to me when ppl say stuff about burning rescue having like a personal vendetta/hatred for the burnish bc they.. literally do not! they have no problem with the burnish and thats further evidenced by them trying to defend them at the pizza place! they thought mad burnish was hurting people which was why they were happy to capture them, but galo has no VENDETTA or even dislike against these people. hes misinformed and because of it can get some stuff wrong (assuming the burnish didnt need to eat, but when lio said ‘is that what you really think of the burnish? we’re humans, just like you’ he apologized). like technically galo and lio are on opposite sides of a war here but they have no problems with EACH OTHER and really no problems with the COLLECTIVE people. galo fights fires to protect people. lio starts fires to protect people. and neither of them have anything against each other. they didnt start off hating each other. they started off fighting against what they THOUGHT the other person STOOD FOR. a big part of promare is them realizing that their goals actually do align- saving people. and theyre not as different as they thought they were! theyre people and they can understand each other AS PEOPLE! i dont rly know where im going with this i just wanted to clarify cuz ppls word choices can rattle me a bit when galo and lio did not hate each other and never did
