do you ever hear something so blatantly discriminatory and then the longer you think about it the more baffled you get like what?? the fuck???
#random#this is specifically about the guest teacher who popped in on wednesday#and then tried to argue that true evil exists and used sociopathy as proof#my class: we don’t believe true evil exists in humans. they can’t be put into black and white boxes like that#her: but what about sociopaths?#girl what ABOUT them they’re people they were considered in the original argument!#sociopathy isn’t the embodiment of true evil you’re just blatantly ableist#I want to sit her down and be like hey. are you even aware of what you’re saying#she isn’t my teacher she was just helping with something#I think she might be pretty religious#because then she went on to tell a story about a six year old throwing a grown man across the hall#she was like well i can see you're not convinced but I’ll leave you with this story#as if we’d all hear it and be like well you got us there that six year old is true evil#listen im just still thinking about it because WHAT???#like yea I understand ableism and discrimination and stigmatization but still sometimes it just hits me in the face
