Mackenzie Phillips has a few scenes in the movie Black Girl Missing.
While not based on one story in particular, it’s based on multiple stories and is an eye-opener about the headlines that don’t get shared while also advocating for mental health.
It's a Lifetime production so take that as you will, but the ending is significant and with Mackenzie’s work at Breathe Life Healing Center, it’s no wonder she chose to be part of this project.
ginagershon especially loved working with these 2 wonderful actors. @harrisonthomasactor and @samantham01 thank you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️they are both fantastic in #12desperatehours . They both made me feel a bit less desperate😜 watch them. Xx
I'm watching a movie called Deadly Sibling Rivalry.
Basically a story about twins, one good and one bad and the good one has a kid and the bad one is into drugs.
Anyway, bad twin caused an accident and the good twin is put in a coma and bad twin tries to take over her life.
Kid finds out and is trying to make the police believe her.
My problem: they may be identical twins but one of them had a fucking kid. Only one of them had a kid. And one of them has a lived a life of substance abuse. That shit shows up in medical exams.
Why didn't the police just do medical exams?! Good lord are these people stupid.

This deep-sea denizen isn’t your average anemone. Unlike its shallow-water cousins, the pom-pom anemone (Liponema brevicorne) doesn’t like to stay attached to rocks or other hard surfaces. In fact, it can roll itself up into a ball and cruise the currents along the seafloor like a tentacled tumbleweed. Talk about ‘rolling in the deep’!
