kid disliker
sori hated a lot of things, most things for being dumb. she was not a very big fan of animals, they were dumb and unhygienic. she didn’t like strangers because they were most of the time just annoying. she didn’t like flowers because they reminded her too much of her brother (and he was annoying to think about too often or for too long), and most certainly she didn’t like kids. she hoped she would like kids some day, that she’d fall in love and make a family, but for now she’d hate every guy hitting on her and would continue seeing kids as evil monsters for a bit longer. and she has been told before that she gives off a far nicer vibe than she actually is, but still she wishes to be intimidating enough for people to not just so easily approach her.
but there she is, seeming easy enough to approach for a lost kid to ask her for help. she almost wants to pretend she didn’t hear the child, but that’s too mean, even for her. so she tries her best giving a smile, those acting classes finally getting to use. and while she still has yet to find the mom, she notices someone else. in a hurry walking up and poking them “you’re a trainee at legacy, aren’t you?” acting like both being trainees at legacy means they’ll have to help her, but at this point she’s desperate, she’s most definitely been with this child for over three minutes. “this child is lost, please, please help me find his mom” and in her head she can’t help but wish for he’s better with kids than her, and he doesn’t half as much hate them as her.

Not a moment went by in which Hyunsoo did not have his nose buried in the script. He held it up close to his face ( having ditched his spectacles for the role ), eyes narrowed and combing over lines as if his life depended on it. A strict upbringing bore him the propensity to 'overdo it' — content to continue being the pinnacle of perfection. His mother would certainly finally approve.
Hyunsoo's concentration, however, had the tendency to block out all in the scope around him. All that existed was the black ink words on paper highlighted in green ( each to indicate his part ). The rolling of wheels against the pavement of the rehearsal set prompted him to finally lift his head — even for just a moment. It was enough to see one of the supporting cast careening toward him, the skateboard nearly slipping from underneath his feet.
Instinctively, Hyunsoo reached out and grabbed for both of the other's arms to keep him steady for long enough to take a glance at his face, brows furrowing. He quickly released him, taking a step back to retrieve his discarded script from the ground and dusting off invisible dirt. His eyes refocus, expression actively mitigating itself. Just how long could he feign the ability to see more than two feet in front of him?
"You should watch where you're going on that or practice a little bit more. Otherwise a notorious on set disaster is bound to happen." A pause lingered in the air for all but two seconds. "Are you alright, though?"

“so, have you already started looking around for decor inspiration?” sunhwas voice is light, bright in both tone and mood as she regards the man sitting across the table. it’s been a while since the blonde had last gone out like this, dressed casually for an easy brunch out— they’re in a small cafe, one sunhwa frequents often with great meal options and even greater privacy, their booth tucked away snugly in one of the farther corners.
sunhwa had only felt like a setting such as this would be fitting for the two of them, classy as they were. a mimosa here and there to match? now, that was just a grand old time for models to enjoy.
“i have to admit, living outside of the dorms has improved things for me in so many ways— i miss not having haley around me the way i used to, but having your own space . . . it’s very necessary to have their safe space when our job is to be around people constantly.” truly, freedom had been a concept sunhwa had missed when being confined to the idol trainee path. now, she was as free and content as ever. “maybe after this, we can go looking through different stores. it’s always better to see your options in person.”

— love month 2k23!
arisa absolutely loathed coffee— everything about it. the smell. the taste. the weird social culture behind it. genuinely, who the fuck liked coffee so much that they willing to dropped seven dollars on it? that was madman behaviour. arisa was much more of a tea girl herself, she didn’t get the hype behind it. january passes and february arrives, and with it comes south korea’s sickening obsession with valentines day. flowers and chocolates were really nice, but they shouldn’t be a once a year thing— why did one need a holiday to treat their significant other?
leave it to legacy entertainment to capitalize on the already over done, over capitalized holiday. all of their trainees, including their super bad, super naughty ones, would be partaking in coffee 101 to learn the utmost basics of coffee making, while only legacy’s best and brightest trainees would actually take to the truck and serve the general public. well— it’s a waste of time, for the likes of arisa at least— she was a barista at one point ( in seoul too ) and she gives it credit for learning some sweet new words which would one hundred percent not be any benefit to her.
arisa sighs as she wipes the outer corners of her eyes with her fingertips, attempting to look at her reflection in chrome fixture she had found on the truck. her eyeliner hasn’t smeared and her shift hadn’t started. she’s waiting for miru in the cold at this ungodly hour. why the fuck did they get lumped with opening the truck. she pulls her phone out of her pocket and glances down at the time. it was way too early for this. arisa liked early mornings but they usually involved yoga and sipping matcha while responding to messages from her family back home. not this.

caught in a meow-ment
when had he last been on a date? was this a date? it was valentines day.
the dating life for hyoseop hadn’t been much interesting the past years, he decided on wanting to become an idol, and then everything pretty much stopped. he still flirted a lot, he was a tall himbo after all, but the many past valentines day had been spent alone or out drinking. this was the first valentines in a while where he was together with someone else, just one person. he’d like to think it was a date, but he wasn’t sure what miru was thinking of this, if this was a date, or they were just spending valentines day together because they were both lonely losers. and though hyoseop was a big animal lover,he’d never been to a cat café before, but he figured this would be somewhere miru would enjoy.
so with the help of minami updating his wardrobe, he’s tried to look good today. he knows miru is interested in make-up too, though the other is far better at it than hyoseop, so though he is wearing make-up, he’s not expecting to get much ‘plus points’ on that. he’s styled his orange locks, and it’s been a while since he’s tried looking good for someone else, and he’s not sure if he’s accomplished it, but at least he tried, right? when they arrive, hyoseop holds the door for the other, like the gentleman he is. a cat café, he’s not taken into consideration that now he has to fight for miru’s attention against cats.
he finds a table for the two quickly, ‘like the gentleman he is’. “miru-ah, order whatever you’d like, i’ll pay” he smiles to the other.

An S.O.S video call for @lgcmiru
A quiet night in girls' dorm A was a true rarity. However, a sobbing Taeha was not. It didn't take much to send the trainee into a shambles, but on this particular night she felt that her hysterics were justified. With her dormmates preoccupied with rehearsing or socializing, Taeha was left to her own devices ( which was never a good thing ) and armed with her beauty tools and a marathon playlist of makeup tutorials.
Everything started off well enough - until she decides to tackle her unruly brows. After watching countless professional makeup artists do it effortlessly and testing her steady hand with winged eyeliner, she thought, how hard could it be? ...Well, cue the gasp of horror and the slow-motion realization that she had committed a major crime.
"I look terrible, Miru," she wails from her bunk, phone in one hand and a brow-destroying weapon in the other. "I mess up like this all the time! I don't even know how it happened - I sneezed, and then it just..." she trails off, her cries muffled by her axolotl plushie. Eventually, she manages to regain some composure, sitting up while covering the right side of her face. "Please, just don't laugh, okay?" With a shaky breath, she drops her hand, revealing the remnants of her brow. "I keep trying to fix it and I'm only making it worse."

The last thing Noeul wanted was to sit in another lecture that required him to use his brain cells. He had graduated from university mere days ago and this wasn't the mental reprieve he had expected afterwards. He would have preferred something easier, but he understood why English was a required language if he wanted to debut. He only wanted to be forced to study when he was closer to debuting, or after he debuted. Perhaps, during the summer when he didn't have much to do. The only upside was that his lessons weren't being paired with Japanese. Otherwise, he would have lost his mind and never returned to class.
Here he was again, flipping through his messily written notes for his presentation when he spots Miru turning the corner. He had found one of the hallway benches empty and had loitered for more than hour trying to make sense of his notes. He seizes the opportunity, blocking his friend from walking past him and surprising him simultaneously by extending his legs out to block the walkway. "Are you heading to another lesson?" He questions, sitting properly on the chair once again. He clasps his hands together in a begging gesture, eyes fluttering shut for a split second. "Can you help me with my presentation? It'll only take five minutes. Please."

earlier this term, we gave some of the debuted artists a chance to suggest a stage names for themselves. with nova’s mini-drama airing next month, we are now giving a chance for all of the boys ( except KIM JINHYUK & ZHENG LEO ) who are participating in the drama to do the same. for some of the boys who joined the acting/modeling path this term, rather than letting that happen in JULY ( to follow the rules behind the stage names ) we’re letting them decide earlier.
