Two steps forward, five back.
That’s what it feels like when Yewon explains why they have a new manager, and Ichika has to hold back the annoyance that bubbles within her. But she manages because she has to. To a certain extent, she knows this is considered her fault because leaders are always partially at fault for the shortcomings of their members, but the fact that it’s Yuxi is somewhat more insulting. When Somin had her slipup, she wasn’t the leader, but she could still forgive it as a lapse in judgment; Somin had barely become an adult, and honestly, her situation should have been a means for the other girls to learn from, it was the reason why Ichika had brought it up when Yuxi and Yujin had been added.
“Should you develop any something for another, especially of the opposite sex, I request that you be as discreet as possible, for your sake and the sake of the group.”
That is what she had told her, and she had thought Yuxi was smart enough to adhere to the request.
Clearly, she didn’t care. That much was clear from the way she continued to act as if she had done nothing wrong—not an ounce of remorse for her actions.
Typically, Ichika tries to control her thoughts and emotions, but the casual, almost flippant way the other woman acted began to grate on her resolve. It’s around the end of their shooting of Backwards when she can’t take it much longer and finds herself at the younger girl’s elbow, voice soft and even. This is between them and not their growing amount of staff.
“Yuxi, I would like to talk to you once we get back to the dorm.”

with all of the CRYSTALLIS members and their managers gathered together, it was obvious that they would be having one of their quarterly meetings. “we have a lot to get through, so let’s get started.” YEWON began the meeting while allowing EUNJO and NAHEE to give copies of some of their files and schedules to the girls.

in terms of the writing requirements, for Q2 you will need to write a minimum of 3 SOLOS ( with a maximum of 4 SOLOS or 3 SOLOS and 1 THREAD for HYEJOO, SOYOUN & JAEHWA ) and they will need to be filmed sometime between JANUARY 9-MARCH 30. all of the written content must be about what was aired IN the episode and you must write the episodes that haven’t been written in Q1 ( eg. if you wrote episodes 1-3 in Q1, for Q2 you would need to write episodes 4-7. if you wrote episodes 1, 4, and 7 in Q1, for Q2 you would need to write episodes 2, 3, 5, and 6. )
for the SOLOS, each episode must be at least 300+ WORDS long. as for the THREADS, it has to be a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines; two posts per mun ) thread and with ANOTHER CRYSTALLIS member. as the guest, the CRYSTALLIS member will not receive additional points for participating. it’s also advised that the CRYSTALLIS guest appears in one show during this cycle to allow other members to participate in the other shows.
for every episode written and completed ( solo or thread ), they will receive +6 MCING/HOSTING, VARIETY, ACTING, OR PERFORMANCE, and +5 NOTORIETY. all of the +6 SKILL POINTS have to be distributed to one of the skills mentioned. The maximum one can get from completing this during Q2 will be +24 MCING/HOSTING, VARIETY, ACTING, OR PERFORMANCE and +20 NOTORIETY.

HAUSING COMPANY CAMPAIGN
“this will be the last time we’ll be working with this company since the contract was supposed to last a year and in a few months it will be one year.” YEWON stated after taking a sip of her coffee. “the content that all of you were filming in the prior months have slowly been posted on the CRYSTALLIS youtube channel. the company is quite satisfied with the campaign that after this term, you will be moving into your new and final dorms. apparently it’s quite an upgrade from the dorms you’ve started with, so let’s keep this momentum going with the last few months of the contract left!”
as mentioned, Q2 will be the final term for the CRYSTALLIS members to film and promote the HAUSING COMPANY. however, all of the content related to the yearlong campaign will last until the end of Q3 ( sometime around late SEPTEMBER ). similar to the past terms, the CRYSTALLIS members will be moving into another building and staying there for the next few months.
the dorms will consist of three floors. listed below is how the arrangement would look like:
1ST FLOOR: living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom
2ND FLOOR: 2 bedrooms ( 2 people per room; CREAM ROOM - JAEHWA & ICHIKA / SEA GREEN ROOM - HYEJOO & YUJIN ), 1 bathroom
3RD FLOOR: 2 bedrooms ( 2 people per room; TURQUOISE ROOM - SOYOUN & YURA / MAUVE ROOM - YUXI & SOMIN ), 1 bathroom
the CRYSTALLIS members will film their initial reactions to the new dorms and their thoughts about how similar or different the dorms are in comparison to the previous ones they’ve stayed during their contract with HAUSING COMPANY.
in addition to that, each of the CRYSTALLIS members will have a meeting with the HAUSING COMPANY staff privately as they are asked to describe how their ideal bedroom would look like if they could have one. for this, imagine that they were given a simple floor planning map ( think a small studio room ) and they could pitch in the color schemes, style, and furniture for the room. however, do take into consideration that this bedroom would have to be suited for middle class young adults who might be interested in living in a place that fits within their budget.
SOMIN’S BIRTHDAY
for SOMIN’s birthday, she will get a chance to do a gaming livestream! the day before her birthday, SOMIN will suggest a few multiplayer games to NAHEE to help finalize what game she’ll be playing with ALIZE. then on the day of the livestream, SOMIN will have a 1 hour gaming session with some of the lucky fans ( and the room will be decorated nicely courtesy of the CRYSTALLIS members and their managers )! towards the end, NAHEE will be singing happy birthday and showing SOMIN a birthday cake created by the CRYSTALLIS members ( who were decorating it while SOMIN was doing her gaming livestream ).

“and one more good news for all of you,” YEWON turned towards the page that some would have noticed if they were looking through each of the file’s pages. “CRYSTALLIS will be having a korean comeback and this will be a full album. since many of you have other individual schedules to do during the next few months, we’ve decided to start preparing for the album right now while there is a bit of extra time left.”

for ooc knowledge ( because their comeback will be happening during the early weeks of Q3 ), CRYSTALLIS will receive 11 wins from ‘#MENOW’, thus totaling to 15 wins since their debut ( with 4 of the wins happening during SIESTA era ). the wins for ‘#MENOW’ will be from THE SHOW ( JULY 23 & 30 ), SHOW CHAMPION ( JULY 24 & 31 ), M! COUNTDOWN ( JULY 25 & AUGUST 1 ), MUSIC BANK ( JULY 26 & AUGUST 2 ), SHOW! at this point in her career, hyejoo has done a lot of song recordings. but even though she's done it a million times, and even though she's established a routine ( comfortable clothes, lots of water, lyric sheet pre-highlighted ), she never quite knows how it'll turn out. sometimes she's in and out, breezing through the recording and doing her lines well enough the first time around that it's just some minor adjustments here and there. but then other times she feels like she's in there for the entire day, and she can sing the same thing over and over again but it's just not right.
she thought today would be the latter, with the added element of singing in another language and having to make sure her pronunciation isn't horrendous. but maybe she got better at japanese since the last time, or maybe she just got lucky, but it went by with no huge problems.
hyejoo breathes a sigh of relief as she exits the recording booth, sitting down next to ichika as she feels a huge weight lifted off her shoulders. "it sounded okay, right?" she turns and looks at the other girl, trying to get a gauge of how it was to a third party who actually knows the language. "there was a lot of english in my parts, so i think it was easier this time."

CRYSTALLIS MISSION 009: DESIGNING FOR MLB

SWEATSHIRT VS VARISTY JACKET: jaehwa has a preference for sweatshirts over varsity jackets. while a varsity jacket typically come in two or three colors, making them challenging to match, she finds sweatshirts to be more versatile and easier to pair with various outfits. in her opinion, they are suitable for any occasion, whether it's a casual outing to the movies, attending classes, or practicing in the dance studio. when styled with a skirt and knee-high boots, a sweatshirt can create a cute spring or autumn look. alternatively, swapping the skirt for skinny jeans can give the outfit a cooler and cozier vibe.
BASE COLOR: choosing the base color for the sweatshirt proved to be a dilemma for jaehwa. she was torn between three options: black, light taupe, and an off-white shade with a hint of yellow. while black and light taupe were classic neutral colors essential for any wardrobe, the off-white shade had a cute appeal that resonated with her personal color.
DESIGN: in jaehwa's opinion, the colour of a sweatshirt was easier to determine when a design was given. leveraging her newfound hobby, jaehwa hand-drew a small crystallis logo intended for the upper left corner of the garment. it was later revealed that it will be hand-stitched instead of printed. on the back, she sketched the mlb logo and added a colorful gradient using each member's individual colors. to inject a touch of fun and uniqueness, she incorporated emojis that represent all the members inside the logo.
FINAL RESULT: after comparing her drawing against each base color, jaehwa ultimately opted for black. light taupe failed to achieve the desired effect, while the off-white shade rendered her design slightly too bright for her liking. the pastel colors of her design stood out most vividly against the dark backdrop, enhancing its overall appeal. in addition to its design and color, the sweatshirt boasts an oversized fit, featuring long sleeves and a slightly snug band at the end, giving it a snug, thigh-hugging appearance.

context : crystallis mission 6, japanese debut promotions
everything and anything japanese, at this point, has her more traumatized than the average citizen. whether you call her dramatic or not, it’s undeniable that danbi has a bit of a complex when it comes to japan - well, maybe not with the country as a whole but rather, what the concept of japan means to her. as a constant reminder that her position is never secure, and that she’ll probably never be good enough.
it was bad the first time around, when she was chastised for her lack of japanese fluency and stripped of her role as leader - but to be threatened with the same for a second time? with no hesitation nor qualms, it was clear how the company felt about her absence of, for lack of a better word, growth since she promoted in japan last.
she was embarrassed and, therefore, all the more nervous when the stakes were undoubtedly higher this time around. her hands are shaking, clutching onto her music sheets as she’s waiting for her turn to record. and with only danbi and hyejoo left for the day, her nerves only doubled when faced with the inevitable comparison with one of the group’s main vocals.
“h-hyejoo-ah,” she practically stammered out. “you’re good at japanese, right? would you mind double-checking that my pronunciation’s alright?”

a hausing company thread for @lgcsoyoun
after moving all of their things over from their old dorm to the new one, somin is slowly putting away her things before she's suddenly struck with a thought. she ponders over the placement for a long while, before she decides that it's probably best to ask someone else in her room for their opinion. and who better to ask than someone else who had a secret stash as well?
"unnie, i have a dilemma," she starts once they're in their room and she's alone with soyoun, jutting out her lips in a small pout. she's the maknae of crystallis, and still is even with the new members added so she's going to use that fact to her advantage. always.
"don't tell anyone, but you know how i have a secret snack stash?" she asks, hugging her precious box of snacks to her chest, glad she had picked one that had a lid. it also doubled as her bedside table stash of knick-knacks, since she usually got the top bunk when asked.
"i don't know where to put it this time ..." she complains, whining a little bit. "do you have an idea at all?"

“What’s up, everyone! It’s your girl Astrid, oh yeah~” Soyoun does her usual introduction every time they have to film these vlogs. She waits for Yura to introduce herself before she continues talking. “Today, Yura and I don’t have any schedules, so we’ll be playing at the arcade, and you will be coming with us!” Soyoun cheers and links arms with Yura as they walk along the streets.
It’s been too long since they got to do something that wasn’t related to their idol schedules. Okay, fine. This vlog still is, but at least they can just mess around, have fun, and be themselves. “When was the last time you played at the arcade, Yura?” Soyoun asks with a tilt of her head. “In all the years we’ve known each other, I can’t believe we never went together!”

“Ah! Thank you!”
Ichika smiles so widely as the chat in front of her explodes with comments from fans wishing her a happy birthday. She’s sitting on a couch in her hotel room, soft, cozy clothes cocooning her while she does her best to find comments in between the well wishes.
“Ah, is Hare Hare my gift from the company?” The question makes her laugh and she brings a sweatered hand to her face to stifle the amusement. “I think it’s more of a coincidence that we’re in Japan during my birthday than it having anything to do with my birthday, but it’s fun isn’t it? Truly, I’m grateful we could have a Japanese comeback so soon.”
Her eyes return to the comment while she reaches out for her drink, something sweet and only vaguely related to coffee. Over the years, she’s tried to get used to black coffee, at least for her image, but she couldn’t; she liked sweets way too much and as it was her birthday, she chose to indulge a little more, even if they were promoting.
“Yes, I was able to see my family! My mother came to see me during the Tokyo hi-touch event, and my brother and stepmother took me out for dinner.” She smiles at the memory, truly glad she got to see them after almost avoiding home for a while, but she doesn't want to talk about how she was close to tears in both instances, not realizing how desperately she missed their familiar touch. “My father? Oh, he was busy with work, so I didn’t see him until later, but that’s okay.” Aside from a call, she truly had not seen the man, but that was just how he was. For better or for worse.
“What do I want for my birthday?” She reads the question and then looks off in thought. “I think I would ask for a better year than last.” She says it almost without thinking and almost instantly she sees the comments come in inquiring why— and it’s really something she can’t say. “Last year was amazing! We got to go on tour, but I wish we had got to go more places and meet more Alize.” Truly it’s a good thing she’s able to think on her feet, and for the most part, this explanation isn’t a lie. “It would be too easy to be settled into how things are — this year I want to do to much more and be better than the person I was next year. The frog knows nothing of the sea if it only stays in the pond.”

CRYSTALLIS MISSION 009

on JANUARY 8, the managers, YEWON, EUNJO, and NAHEE gather all of the CRYSTALLIS members together for a meeting.
STUDIO ROOMS ( YUJIN & YUXI )
starting JANUARY 9 ( as a belated [ for yuxi ] and early [ for yujin ] birthday gift ) YUJIN and YUXI will be given their own studio rooms which are located in the same area as where the rest of the studio rooms are for CRYSTALLIS. as the newest members, they will be requested to create a set of studio rules for guests to follow whenever they're inside and design their studios to their own liking.
then on JANUARY 15 ( YUXI ) and JANUARY 17 ( YUJIN ), they will be given an opportunity to go on live for 30 minutes to interact with the fans and show off a little bit of their studio room to them all while answering some fan questions.
MODELING CONTRACT RENEWALS ( MLB, 8x4 )
for MLB, the company will be asking JAEHWA, SOMIN, and YURA to help create their own customized design for a variety jacket OR a sweatshirt ( depending on what the CRYSTALLIS member prefers ). each of the girls will be asked to select one of the two items ( variety jacket or sweatshirt ) and then submit designs that they feel would reflect both MLB and their image ( individually and as a group ). once the creative teams ( MLB and legacy ) approve of the designs, the next campaign that will be launched will display their designed products. they will also have a cf and photoshoot sometime around early FEBRUARY where they will be wearing the products and these photos will be used on the MLB's website and social media posts. then on MARCH 2, all three of the girls will be attending a MLB x CRYSTALLIS fansign event, where the girls will get a chance to meet some of the fans who have purchased a certain money of the MLB products.
for 8x4, the company will be asking HYEJOO and SOYOUN to create their own deodorant perfume scent! each of the girls will be asked to suggest smells that they prefer and/or best exemplifies their image and also provide suggestions on the packaging of their product. once the creative teams ( 8x4 and legacy ) approve of the recommendations, the next campaign that will be launched will display their designed products. they will also have a cf and photoshoot sometime around early FEBRUARY where they will be showcasing the products and these photos will be used on the 8x4's website and social media posts. then on MARCH 3, both of the girls will be attending the 8x4 x CRYSTALLIS fansign event, where the girls will get a chance to meet some of the fans who have purchased a certain money of the 8x4 products and play a trivia quiz game with them ( it will be done more as hyejoo and soyoun versus the fans game ).
the MLB and 8x4 modeling gigs will be renewed and last until the end of Q2 ( JUNE 30 ), thus making it a full year for the modeling contracts.
MODELING CONTRACT RENEWALS ( HAUSING COMPANY )
for HAUSING COMPANY, just like mentioned in the previous term, all of the CRYSTALLIS members will be moving to a new apartment building soon after their meeting is done. later on that day, they will be filmed once again as they get their initial reactions to the interior of the new apartment.
as for the room configurations, there will be 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms ( 2 small ones on the 1st floor, 1 small one on the 2nd floor ), one kitchen ( 1st floor ), one dining room ( 1st floor, next to kitchen ), one living room ( 2nd floor ). here are the new room arrangements:

this time around, the CRYSTALLIS members will be given a solo video segment where they will be discussing one or two of their favorite items in their current room and the reason behind it. they must provide some sort of story or explanation behind the said item and explain how they incorporate that item into their room.
similar to last time, the videos will be released AFTER their contract to stay in their new dorm arrangement ends and will serve as promotion for HAUSING COMPANY. for last term's videos, it will consist of 2 videos, each lasting around 15 minutes long. the first video will be released on MARCH 16 while the second one will be released on MARCH 23.
PROJECT ORIGIN EXHIBITION & SHOWCASE
“with the release of the OSTs and the start of the animation series, LEGACY has invited the debuted groups to take part in the PROJECT ORIGIN EXHIBITION & SHOWCASE, which is scheduled to happen on FEBRUARY 23. on this day, there will be the unveiling of the exhibition where the costumes used during both the original and second reiteration of the musical will be displayed. among that are some of the memorabilia we have collected from all of the groups participating, so this includes costumes and props used during some of the past future dreams seasons, year end ceremonies, and much more.” YEWON continues on to explain the details of one of their events. “later on that day, there will be a showcase where the groups will be performing the webtoon OSTs.”
for JAEHWA, SOYOUN and YURA, since they were a part of the original PROJECT ORIGIN MUSICAL, they will be given a chance sometime around JANUARY to record some narration parts about the musical and describe some of the initial thoughts they had when they were in the musical.
LUNAR NEW YEAR GREETINGS
a couple of days before LUNAR NEW YEAR ( FEBRUARY 10 ), all of the CRYSTALLIS members will be dressed up in traditional clothing and record a lunar new year greeting for all of the fans which will be posted on the CRYSTALLIS’ youtube channel.
CRYSTALLIS 2ND ANNIVERSARY FANMEETING
on FEBRUARY 25, the CRYSTALLIS members will be having a small fanmeeting to commemorate their 2nd anniversary. the fanmeeting will consist of them performing all of their latest korean title tracks since debut and games with their fans. for this specific fanmeeting, the theme will be ‘crystalland’ where the stage will be set up similar to that of an amusement park.
the games that CRYSTALLIS will be playing will be different carnival games ( eg. ring toss, whac-a-mole, duck pond game ). by near the end of the fanmeeting, CRYSTALLIS will be surprised by the fans as they will watch a fan-made montage video of everything that CRYSTALLIS has accomplished thus far and brief thank you messages.
HARU’S ‘WAW’ TIK TOK DANCE CHALLENGE
as per YEWON’s request, she has convinced the HARU members to let some of the CRYSTALLIS members take part in HARU’s tiktok dance challenge for their upcoming title track, ‘WIND & WISH’. they will be doing it in groups of 2-3 members and with one or two of the HARU members joining them.
the groups are as follows:
GROUP A ( SUNGWOOK ): GONG HYEJOO, MIN SOYOUN, YAMASHITA ICHIKA
GROUP B ( HANKYUNG ): AHN JAEHWA, KIM YUJIN, SEO YURA
GROUP C ( YP & MINWOO ): LIU YUXI, MOON SOMIN
the filming for this will be done sometime during FEBRUARY 26-MARCH 1 ( whenever their schedules permit ).
JAPANESE COMEBACK & PROMOTIONS
"even though it's been a couple of months since we've done promotions in JAPAN, LEGACY decided to keep up with the momentum and work on another japanese release. this will be happening on MARCH 11, but due to our rather hectic schedules, we will be flying back and forth between JAPAN and KOREA during these two weeks to accommodate the individual and group schedules we have during this time." YEWON stated before she proceeded to tell them the rest of the information they would need to know about the comeback.
for the MARCH japanese comeback, they will be releasing two songs and it is as follows:

with the addition of the new members, YEWON will remind all of the CRYSTALLIS members, especially YUJIN and YUXI to spend some time working on their JAPANESE skills to help better equip themselves for the promotions that they are about to embark on.
from MARCH 12 to MARCH 29, they will be attending multiple hi-touch events and media interviews across JAPAN. the hi-touch events will consist of around 300 lucky fans where they will perform both of their songs and then have a one on one meeting with each of their fans. they will be having the hi-touch events in the following locations:
MARCH 12-13: TOKYO
MARCH 15-16: NAGOYA
MARCH 17-18: OSAKA
MARCH 21-22: FUKUOKA
MARCH 23-24: CHIBA
MARCH 25-26: NIIGATA
MARCH 28-29: HIROSHIMA
on days when they are not attending any events, they will be on their way to the next location ( if it takes more than a few hours ) OR they will be heading back to KOREA for their own schedules.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS & LIVESTREAMS
for HYEJOO’s birthday, because it was on JANUARY 1, the managers decided to help create their own version of the ringing of the bell at jonggak ( which is typically celebrated for the new year ) by creating and hanging up a bell on the ceiling that says ‘happy birthday to youngwon!’ when HYEJOO enters the practice room ( in preparation for the following day’s award show ), the bell will start ringing and the managers along with the CRYSTALLIS members will be singing happy birthday to her while carrying a homemade birthday cake made by YEWON and NAHEE. due to the holidays, she will have a post-birthday livestream with the fans on JANUARY 2, before rehearsals for the SEOUL MUSIC AWARDS.
since ICHIKA’s birthday will be in the midst of the HARE HARE promotions, on the day of her birthday the CRYSTALLIS managers will be celebrating her birthday in OSAKA. after having her birthday livestream in the morning with the fans, ICHIKA will be asked to pick a place in the OSAKA area that she would want to go to during the morning-afternoon time.
as for SOYOUN, after she is done filming for a later episode of ‘HANGOUT WITH YOO’, she will receive a birthday cake surprise from the cast members. later on that day, she will have her birthday livestream with the fans.
with all of the birthday livestreams, they will last around 30-45 minutes talking to the fans and sharing anything meaningful to them that has happened in the past year or so.
( important note: since SOYOUN has done the writing requirement for the birthday last year, she will not get points for completing it, however ICHIKA and HYEJOO will. but for ic reference, that is what was planned for their birthdays. )

in terms of the writing requirements, for Q1 you will need to write a minimum of 2 SOLOS ( with a maximum of 3 SOLOS or 2 SOLOS and 1 THREAD ) and they will need to be filmed sometime between JANUARY 9-MARCH 30. all of the written content must be about what was aired IN the episode, so as always please be professional about this.
for the SOLOS, each episode must be at least 300+ WORDS long. as for the THREADS, it has to be a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines; two posts per mun ) thread and with ANOTHER CRYSTALLIS member. as the guest, the CRYSTALLIS member will not receive additional points for participating. it’s also advised that the CRYSTALLIS guest appears in one show during this cycle to allow other members to participate in the other shows.
for every episode written and completed ( solo or thread ), they will receive +6 MCING/HOSTING, VARIETY, ACTING, OR PERFORMANCE, and +5 NOTORIETY. all of the +6 SKILL POINTS have to be distributed to one of the skills mentioned. The maximum one can get from completing this during Q1 will be +18 MCING/HOSTING, VARIETY, ACTING, OR PERFORMANCE and +15 NOTORIETY.

as much as hyejoo likes perfumes, being here and sniffing through all these different scents was overwhelming, to say the least. she's smelled so many different notes that she feels like she can't distinguish one from the other anymore, and suddenly she feels like this is a lot harder than she originally thought it would be. she wonders if the mlb team has it any easier designing clothes, and she feels like at least their eyes can't go blind from the choices.
still, she's glad she got this cf, because in a way she thinks it suits her image more than athletic wear would, and smelling perfume has been a hobby of her's for a while so she's excited to make her own scent. if only she didn't have a slight headache coming on, she would probably be enjoying the experience a lot more.
"i think i need a break." she says, reaching for the coffee beans to reset her nose for what seems like the hundredth time today. without them she thinks she genuinely wouldn't have been able to make it through this. she smiles at soyoun, glad the other girl is with her so they can experience it together. "what kind of scents do you like usually?"

can it really be crystallis' second anniversary already? jaehwa couldn't quite wrap her head around it as the group concluded their latest performance. amidst the resounding cheers of the fans, her gaze swept across the crowd, a smile tugging at her lips. she vividly recalled their first fan meet, where the turnout barely filled a concert venue, yet now, tickets sold out within a mere fifteen minutes.
observing her fellow members enthusiastically take turns hitting the mole with a hammer, jaehwa's competitive spirit began to emerge, driving her to aim for the highest score. "is there a trick to hitting them all quickly without missing?" she asked soyoun, eager to master the game.

so far, their japanese debut has been smooth sailing - well, it’s barely been a week, but their debut has been smooth sailing for the past six days, at least. the music video was received well, and their single’s doing decently on the charts. if they were only considering things from a strictly only-music perspective, then things were going great for them - but being idol’s never just about the music, though, is it?
their first interview in japan was scheduled for today, and danbi couldn’t be more nervous. for an hour or so today, they’re expected to speak only in japanese (because what were all those lessons for if not to impress with the skills and cut the costs of a translator), a feat that she’s probably the only one worried about. heart feverishly beating and throat getting drier by the minute, danbi was pacing back and forth in their dressing room as they waited to be called in. “soyoun-ah,” she calls, naturally seeking comfort in one of the members she’s closer with. “do you think the interview will go well today?”

when they're told they're going to be writing letters, somin has to do everything in her power to hold back an audible groan. she's never been the best with pretty words, always too blunt and too straightforward in what she says. it's not even that she's mean or anything, it's really just that she doesn't usually think about what she says before she says it.
thankfully, when they're being filmed for content, it's not too hard to hold herself back. and even if she says something accidentally, they usually chalk it off to her being the maknae or they just edit it out before publishing it.
but having to write something sentimental towards a member and then also towards the fans? she's not too sure how well she can do but she guesses she'll have to do her best. she's not sure if yujin will be able to guess who wrote the letter immediately, but she hopes that it won't be too easy.
sitting down in front of the cameras is worse though, because not only does she have to write something like this, she has to write it whilst on camera. she hopes it doesn't turn out too bad.
yujin-unnie! (does that kind of give it away already? i think it narrows it down a lot ... oh well!)
i know we've only known of each other for a short time, but i already can't imagine crystallis without you! i think you're really great and fun to be around, and that the time when i made dinner for you (oh no another hint ...) was one of my favourite memories of us so far. i hope that we have a lot of time to do that again in the future, and maybe even with the other members too! i would really like that!
anyways, you've been doing great with learning all of the songs and dances and i can't imagine how hard it must be to have been thrown into this so suddenly. i don't think i could've done it! but alize are here with you every step of the way, as am i!
please take care of yourself and make sure health is always your top priority, okay? pinky promise me! this job is a tough one but also a really fun one, and i hope you'll enjoy being a crystallis member hehe

she doesn't sign the letter, knowing that they would all be trying to guess who wrote what but she adds a little doodle into the corner of the page of a sprout and some flowers, knowing that probably wouldn't give her away. hopefully it sounded sincere, because she really did mean everything that she had said.

“Seriously?” Soyoun raises an eyebrow as she opens the closet in front of her. “This is all you have?” She stares in horror at his collection of T-shirts and sweat pants. Okay, fair, they need lots of those as trainees. But now Haemin has officially moved to the acting path, he needs clothes that suit him as a rookie actor. She hums as she goes through his clothes, piece by piece. “Okay, we can keep a few of these, especially the nice ones,” she mutters under her breath. “You’ll still need comfortable clothes to practice in.”
“Please tell me you have at least more than one button-up shirt and more than one pair of pants that aren’t jeans?” She then turns to Haemin with a pout on her lips. Her course of action depends on his answer. Next, she checks his shoes. “Training shoes, not-training shoes... Do you have a pair of leather shoes? Or loafers? Or do I have to add those to the list of things we’re shopping for?”
