[Our Planet Week, prompt 1 : Protect]

Something a bit new, and for a good cause 💚 I am not very vocal about it because I sometimes feel like it doesn't match my current work, but most of my education and my previous job (which weren't art related at all) revolved around sustainability and that's a topic that has always been dear to me. I switched to a mostly plant-based and local diet 4 years ago, became interested in movements like slow-fashion and zerowaste lifestyle, and generally became more conscious about my impact on our ecosystem. Now that art is my job, I want to find ways to still incorporate my values into my work, and use art as a medium to subtly raise awareness on important and urgent topics. Finding the right balance between advocating for a cause, drawing projects that make you (and me) smile and still being "authentic" will probably take a bit of time, but I am hoping to get there eventually!
