Persona: How does their day-to-day personality compare to their on-stage persona
lane has a learned stage presence and showmanship from years of performing. they’re heightened and charismatic but still very genuine and honest and vulnerable.
day-to-day for the most part they behave very chill and easygoing and they take most things in stride. A calming quiet presence.
(they are more themselves on stage than anywhere else what who said that)
Training: How did they learn to sing? Have they had any formal training? How do they continue to maintain and develop their singing voice?
their dad gave them a lot of their earliest experience learning to sing and finding what kind of music they liked/suited them.
in high school they started choir and learned a lot abt healthy warm ups and technique to grow and improve. they’re pretty serious about vocal steaming and throat coat and constant honey but they also! smoke like a gd chimney. Other than that, their habits are very good they take vocal health v serious.
Quitting: Have they ever come close to quitting their professional music career? When? What brings them back?
MOST of the time lane is very chill but once per album lane has a huge meltdown and almost quits. releasing all power to change any of the music pre-release usually brings them back down to earth
