Thursday morning began with the ETBU Baseball team traveling back to Santo Domingo for a game against the Dominican Republic Army.

The Tigers struck first, scoring one run in the top of the third inning, after Charles Gordon singled and later scored on a single by Michael Gallegos. In the bottom of the inning, the DR Army pushed across two runs to take a 2-1 lead.

ETBU tied the game in the top of the fourth, after Cameron French reached base after being hit by a pitch and advanced to third on a stolen base and errant throw. Kyle Reece followed with a RBI single, making the score 2-2, but the Dominicans responded with six runs in the fourth to take a 8-2 lead.

The Army team tacked on three more runs in the fifth, before the Tigers responded with a single run in the sixth and three runs in the seventh inning, on hits by Jacob Newland, Cayden Earnhart, Gordon, and JC Barry, with Connor Stewart adding a sacrifice fly, leaving the score 11-6.

ETBU surrendered three runs in the eighth, leaving the final score 14-6. After a quick lunch, the ETBU Baseball team headed to a local orphanage for the afternoon.

Ben Burroughs provided a recap of today from his perspective.

“Day four started early for the Tigers as the bus left at 8 AM and we headed to Santo Domingo to play our fourth game of the week. The game started around 10 AM and we played the Dominican Republic Army. At the game we once again got to witness the love and passion all Dominicans show towards the game. Whether they are in the stands or on the field the love of the game is all the same and it makes the atmosphere amazing.

After the game we headed back for a short break and to grab some lunch. After that we headed to an orphanage about 40 miles east of where we are staying. On the way there the bus broke down, so we had to wait on a new one for about 30 minutes. That did not deter us from continuing to do the Lord’s work though as a new bus arrived very soon and we were back on our way.

Once we arrived at the orphanage we had about an hour and half with the kids. I have to say visiting that and being with the kids has been one of the coolest experiences of my life. The experience while we were there is something that I cannot put into words. The happiness and joy of the Lord that we were able to share with the kids is something I wish everyone could feel. I think we loved the experience more than the kids did, and even though we had a short time with them it has created life long memories.

The bus ride home was also something that was super fun, and it was a great way to finish the day. At the end of day four something that has been consistent all week is the friendliness, kindness, and love this culture shows towards people, even when it’s difficult to communicate. Everyone has opened their arms and welcomed us in. I know that the only way we have been able to connect with people on this trip, and connect as a team is through the power of God's love. God in this trip has been so prominent and has been amazing knowing that this is all possible through him.”

And he's doing it as a ride and a game but without doing it he would have no ride and no game so Mr loose that's who he is Walter loose decided to figure it out and he says just still around and still in the property and the two went nuts and it was Will and Bill I said Dad me to the computer is a software is useless to you and they said holy s*** and they start to try and figure out what's going on and there are way behind one day they said this would never catch up we're way behind and they were now they're saying this this guy has a tiger by the tail so we're going to publish you since because they let loose the machine

Earth 2: Bee and Ophelia

Bee has an accident at a fireworks factory where their mom worked and died from the accident

Bee then got supernatural gene to heal incredibly quickly but their nerves were burnt so they can't feel pain

Ophelia is their roommate and her twin brother died in that accident

But she understands that bee genuinely does not know she caused the accident and genuinely didn't understand so oph forgives them

Storyline is mainly a study on if someone is guilty but they can't be at fault if they don't even know what they did wrong, how are they punished/corrected for something they don't recall and how do they learn from before

Earth 3: Bryan and Kyle

I’ll do my best, but it’s difficult to articulate how much this past weekend meant to me. . Back in March, amidst an unfathomable loss, we set out to honor our friend Chuck Daly and provide his vast circle of friends with some much-needed closure and positivity to pin their memories on. This weekend we delivered on that, and then some! It exceeded every hope we could’ve placed upon it. Thank you to all who attended, you made it such a memorable, healing experience! It means the world to us. . As with all great things, it takes a village. Or in this case, a city: Jersey City. And in the words of Chuck himself, “I gotta give credit where credit is Dude.” . This weekend would not have been possible without MANY people: Dave, Justin, Ralph, Jon and Herb of Rye Coalition who stepped up immediately when we reached out, Dave, Larry and Matt of JC’s most beloved cover band The Imploding Hearts, the angelic vocal stylings of Tree, the patience and generosity of Todd and the entire White Eagle Hall team, the endless hospitality of Dave, Jesse and the entire Pet Shop staff, Lorraine, Mia, and all who contributed to the art show, Jesse for selflessly photo-documenting the entire weekend, and our many friends who volunteered their time and talents. We’re forever grateful. . Our planning team of Therese, Marc, Pat, Andy, Kyle and myself were led with vision and grace by our producer Tia. And of course, Chuck’s beloved brother Joe was involved in *every single aspect* of this weekend, from multiple virtuosic musical performances, MC duties, or just looking damn fine in a Hawaiian shirt. Joe, your love and guidance has given your brother and our whole tribe a gift of healing and community none of us will ever forget. . We started this journey with heavy hearts, but the weekend ended with beaming faces and a sense of family and belonging many of us hadn’t felt in ages. It’s why we all fell in love with this crazy town in the first place, and we thank Chuck for reminding us of that feeling and gathering us together again. Now, it’s up to all of us to hold on to this experience and keep it in our hearts moving forward.
