it's time for your character to get a little open and honest – it's truth time! you are free to use this opportunity to ask the different muses in kyungwon, various questions that you're curious about, or that may help with the character's development!

do u love me more than ur guitar… be honest
for some reason, a question like this coming from jun's mouth doesn't surprise him in the slightest. he pauses for a moment, as if he's actually thinking about it seriously, accompanied by a short hum of consideration. only after he made the other wait long enough in torment does he decide to say something.
“that’s a good question. my guitar that has been with me through all my roughest moments... or one loud and needy junyoung.” he lets out a troubled sigh. “this might be the hardest question i’ve ever received in my lifetime.” of course, he’s only saying all this in jest.
eventually though, his face breaks into a smile. “as much as i want to say my guitar, i love you just a little bit more. 0.000001% more. don’t get your hopes up too high.”

what's the one little thing people would be surprised to know you like? (besides chocolate croissant, of course)
he tries. he really tries not to show his annoyance. after all, he’s the ice prince, master of pokerfaces. but it’s jaemin so of course, he snaps. “first of all, you suck for trying to take my chocolate croissant.”
“secondly, to answer your question, i like to be the small spoon when cuddling. i don't know why people assume i like to be the big spoon just because i'm tall,” kiyong replies with an angry pout.
don’t say it, don’t say it don’t say it-- “i also like constructing miniature houses and furniture during my free time. i find it calming but don’t recommend the hobby as mini-sized items are even more expensive than the real-sized ones... but then you’re the rich boy, why am i even warning you..” he rolls his eyes as he huffs.

he splutters out a laugh at his friend’s question, seriously contemplating the prospect. both wouldn’t be ideal, that’s for certain, but there’s another factor he’d have to consider. “and how long would this be for? because if it’s only for a day or a few hours, i’ll take a five year old suji. anything in the medium to long term, and i’d rather take five of her — i’d be exhausted, but at least i’d have the girl i’m in love with, right?” he laughs, shaking his head.

"what, i don't get the option of having just one haeun?" his voice is amused as he’s asked the question, and it doesn’t take him long to answer. “well, if i have to have five of my little sister, i think five haeuns at her current age would be much easier to deal with than five five-year-old haeuns. she was very excitable, very picky, and very much energetic. i don’t think i’d be able to physically keep up with her anymore,” he laughs. “haeunnie’s grown up a lot now.”

“i mean, what doesn’t?” she lets out a chuckle. “everything does. i’m far too busy and have far too many things to do to lay around in bed all morning. sure, sometimes it would be nice to just lay down and relax, maybe sleep in a bit or something, but it’s not worth the stress it causes me. honestly, if i could have it my way, i’d not sleep at all which would give me more time to do other things. but unfortunately my body requires sleep. boo.”

what do you like most about yourself?
"Huh..." Honestly, he'd thought he'd be able to answer this question easily, but as he thinks about it more he realises nothing really comes to mind too quickly. It's not that he dislikes lots about himself, though there's a good few things he'd change if he could, but what does he like most? "I guess I like how comfortable I am talking to new people. I'll talk to anyone really. I like that I find it easy, and I think I'm pretty good at it. Maybe I... can come off a bit strong, but I think that's my charm, right? I have a big personality, and if people don't like that, then they aren't the people for me."

if you could change a moment in your life, what would it be?
now that he's thinking about it properly, there are several moments within his life that he'd like to revert, if possible. but if he would only be given one chance, then it has to be that. the greatest mistake of his life. something that could have been avoided.
“it’s... kind of simple, really.” and yet, he didn’t do it. a testament to his stupidity and lack of critical thinking. “i just wished i didn’t get behind the wheel this one particular night,” he mumbles, disappointment clear in his voice, directed towards himself and no one else.
“or if i could go even further, i’d stop myself from picking up my first glass of alcohol. i think things would end up a lot better these days if i had done that.”

Hot take incoming but Makoto is one of the characters where everybody focuses on only one of his crimes, which is arguably actually the most justified out of all his actions, while ignoring pretty much. Everything else.
Like sorry but I don't think turning people into food was That Bad considering homunculi need human meat in order to live, they literally die if they don't eat it - it's either A. no humans get killed, and in turn all of Kanai Ward dies, or B. humans die and get turned into meatbuns, and Kanai Ward gets to exist. You could argue that the defective homunculi weren't really supposed to exist anyway but like, they do now so what. Makoto is also a homunculus, of course he probably sympathizes more with the other homunculi instead of the humans (that put them there in the first place) of course he's gonna choose KW over approx. a million humans.
If that was me in that situation I'll do the same thing fuck them bun filling lmao sorry I'm not saying it would be the best choice but it's one literally most people would choose anyway because like. What can you do, it sucks, moving on.
Substitutes for human flesh are possible to create (thank you ramen guy) but it'd require him to seek help from others which would require him to tell them the truth which fuck no. Like in that regard I believe he should be allowed to kill whoever he wants actually!
What actually makes me go 🤨 about him is everything else he's doing. Or not doing - aside from providing food and rain clouds, aka only a portion the bare necessities, he's doing absolutely nothing for Kanai Ward, especially Dohya District. He lives in the most expensive looking penthouse I ever laid my eyes upon, there is so much he could do with all of his billions, like, I don't know, at least unflood the Dohya District do you remember the Dohya District it appeared once in chapter 3 I believe.
Also your city has a poverty crisis the population's like 10% rich bitch working for ✨Amaterasu✨ 90% i live in a sewer i have like 8 shien. Please stop saying you love KW like every othet sentence and actually do something I'm begging you I'm poking you with a stick right now.
Say what you want about Yomi but he was so real for telling Makoto he's not doing shit, only ever instance in rc where the guy is like.... somewhat correct. I was about to say something else but I stopped myself because I have a healthy amount of Fear.
Apparently Makoto's love for all homunculi doesn't extend to Kurumi though, a teenage girl, after he just dumps her along with Yuma in the restricted area for no reason whatsoever, endangering her severely. He also risked her finding out she was eating human flesh for three years straight, the only reason she didn't go into the freezer was because Yuma was there to tell her there was nothing there. There was no reason for Makoto to drag her along to be the audience to his epic showdown with his DNA donor.
I'm not mad at him for that though, that was so fucking hilarious, the fuck?? What is wrong with him <3333
Since I know somebody is going to say that Yomi existing severely limits what Makoto can actually do, which is fair to some extent, but like... Was Yomi holding a gun to his head and telling him he's gonna execute the hostages if he tries to unflood Dohya? Was he? Yomi controls the peacekeepers, he doesn't control where Amaterasu money gets donated. Yomi (and by extension, the peacekeepers - Yomi is, as I see it, the personification of everything wrong with the Amaterasu Corporation cops peacekeepers anyway) can be blamed for a large portion of everything wrong with Kanai Ward, but not the entirety of it; and Makoto can't be, either. Blaming everything on Yomi is not only just wrong, but also the most boring answer possible.
Speaking of -- Makoto didn't even care about all the abuse of power Yomi was commiting the entire time. According to him, "If all Yomi did was throw his weight around, that would have been fine, but [forgot the exact phrasing, but he says him trying to leak homunculus information was where he had to step in]", so you can't even give him points for being a Yomi hater! Sad. Anyway here's how makoyomi worsties can still win
Do I dislike Makoto? No not really. I don't really care about him as much as other people tend to, but he's fun when you let him be his silly (ominous) self. The atrocities are a part of him and I decided they're funny. Actually wait I changed my mind I love him now.

an excellent question, jinwoo thinks to himself. what exactly about suji had made him fall in love with her? it’s with a small smile and a contemplative look in his eyes that he replies slowly.
“you know, that’s an interesting question to ask,” his voice is a little amused. “i actually don’t know. i don’t know what made me fall in love with her. it kind of just happened. but i can tell you what i love about her.” try as he may, he can’t pinpoint the moment that he fell in love with noh suji. it had kind of hit him like a brick one day, the realization, but up until then? he’d been in love long before he could put words to it.
“i love her spirit,” he starts with a small smile. “the way that she throws herself whole-heartedly into everything she does. the way that she gets a little furrow between her eyebrows when she’s thinking hard. the way that her eyes disappear when she smiles. i love the way that she pursues what she wants without letting other things get in the way. she’s independent and fiesty and it just makes me happy to be with her.” he seems to realize that he’s rambled a little bit, and his cheeks flush the faintest shade of pink. “um. anyways. yes.”

would you rather fight 1 duck sized ants or 1000 ant sized ducks?
hayun shudders at the thought that the question evokes, his expression twisting slightly at the question as he contemplates just which would be worse. a duck sized ant would certainly be disgusting and he would have to see all of its body segments in far too much detail, but a thousand ant-sized ducks? ducks are a bit of a menace in and of themselves, sometimes, and a thousand of them? that certainly seems like the worse option by far.
“i hate both of these options,” he responds with a wry smile, “but i think i’ll take my chances with the single duck-sized ant. at least it’s not an elephant-sized ant?”
