Cassandra from Tangled: the Series as a Skykid... or perhaps a Krillkid? 👀

I knew I had to make this when I saw how many similarities there are between the aesthetics of the black rocks in Tangled and various aspects of the Darkness in Sky. They're both associated with death or destruction, and they can both look black, spiky and have a bit of that cold blue glow. So I gave Cass a krill cape and some crystal corruption for her burnt arm and on her chest like the moonstone, inspired by what happens to Skykids when they're hit by a krill or Eden rocks.

I might make another piece with Cass, but I need to practice drawing krills first 😵‍💫🦐

Well for starters Sparkil is a skykid from the game sky: cotl

Except in my au shes half krillkid so she has some darkness in her. Like her eyes are usually blue while regular skykids are yellow, and when shes upset or mad they turn red. Along with that, skykids masks have their diamonds yellow while hers is red

She grew up in the forgotten ark for most of her life with her mother. She was raised to believe she was full light. She left to go find her father but found herself traveling all the realms instead, leading to her finding mekh (my skykid oc not the elder) in the valley coliseum

Sparkil seeing the mountain of eden in the distance, thought her father could be there since he wasnt in any of the realms and asked mekh to take her. Mekh hesitantly agreed and took her through eden and to the point of no return

This is also a significant thing in mekhs story but this post is about sparkil so not now mekh uwu

Sparkil was scared and didn’t know what was going on until she had run out of winged light and was on her way to orbit. However because she is half dark, she didn’t fully make it there and was stuck in a sort of limbo for a long while

Once she got back to the kingdom, she understood what she was and worked on making herself clothes to represent that, while also making some to pass as a regular skykid. While making her capes, she then thought of her guide

She never saw mekh again

tgc absolutely does steal ideas but to say they stole the idea of krillkids/mantakids from one specific artist when i've been seeing concepts of this very easy to think about idea since 2019 from so many different artists is ridiculous

Awhile ago I made a krillkid named Ogrim! (She/They pronouns)

I was very inspired for a long time bye Krab&Krill and thought it would be interesting to draw a bit of a similar kind of style!

Since she’s reincarnation of a very young Krill is she is only a little bit taller than the huge spell.

Long story short relating to this picture-is that they found some trials that are incredibly difficult above Eden that after finishing the trails gave her what I like to call- The Eden Halo.

For a bit of context for this one. In me and my friend's au, there are a few trials located in the floating part of the castle above Eden that are similar to the prophecy trials except a lot harder and more unique. Ogrim somehow found these trials which after they went into and somehow miraculously finished it-The trails just disappeared leaving no one else to be able to even access the eden trials. Gaining some sort of eden crown that isn’t like a cosmetic where you can equip it but more like a part of them that they can hide away or reveal.

My creator wanted me to send a short infographic sheet (or what they call a "ref sheet") about myself cause they wanted the general public to learn a little about me. So here goes.. It's got a good sum of information about me if I do say so myself..

Quite the face reveal isn't it? I do have some strange antennae.. they're why I have such a strangly shaped hood. Oh and the trinkets.. the necklace with the star on it was something I had since before I can remember. The ocarina I made after a few attempts to curb my boredom with krill horns. The wasteland can be quite monotonous..

Another fallen Skykid/Krillkid, Lore wasn’t lost in the Wasteland sauce for nearly as long as Shade was, and as a result still has a few scattered, hazy memories of her life as a Light, and at the very least remembers her name. Unfortunately she was attacked by another Skykid when, in her hazy confusion right after waking up, tried to get help from them. Lore escaped the attack, but lost a horn and her left eye in the process. Eventually she managed to make her way up to the Forest, where she hides and scavenges for whatever little scraps of light she can find to survive. She is so completely terrified of Skykids in general now that she will avoid even the newest Moth like the plague, no matter how lonely she might get.
