It’s obvious that you would be inspiration for a character in his manga or inspiration for a whole new manga all together. He loves you so much <3

Speaking of his manga, he lets you proofread and give him constructive criticism as he works. And when he was given his own manga series, you were a big help in making sure he was taking care of himself, and even worked on some of the pages yourself.

During the Summer Festival, you were more than happy to help out, running a drink stand and assisting wherever needed. Shin greatly appreciated it and showed you afterwards. (Take that as you will)

His love language is quality time and acts of service. Though he is not opposed to physical touch.

Expect to be mistaken for a family when you and Shin are out with Kotaro. Although you already consider yourselves family, it’s embarrassing when people say things in public.

Kotaro loves you sososo much. If it’s just the two of you because Karino’s busy, he loves to hold your hand when you walk him to and from school.

Kotaro also feels so much better than he ever has, having a mother figure in his life that truly cares about him. He loves when you wash his hair at the bathhouse or help him get dressed or tuck him in before heading back to your apartment next door.

He definitely thinks of you and Shin as his parents, but he will take that to the grave.

LOTS of Girls Nights with Mizuki!! Spa days, binge-watching the newest drama, all that fun stuff. And she LOVES to pamper you^^. Whether it’s doing your hair or makeup or dressing you up, she loves it. It’s like having a sister. (you are also fully prepared and willing to fight her boyfriend.)

On the other hand, Takei likes to chill out with you, whether it’s going out for dinner and/or drinks after work, or simply walking home with you. She definitely lectures you if you don’t separate your garbage and recycling…

Tameru is honestly jealous that Karino got you… he thinks you’re vv pretty. He’s a respectful man and despite his slight sadness, he doesn’t do anything to try to sabotage your relationship with Karino. He’s happy for you, and will show you his affections as often and professionally as possible. Probably by taking out some of the people who bother you too much :)

#KotaroLivesAlone. A light and heartwarming story if you're looking for something cute and chill to watch. This 10-episode Netflix feature is about the daily life of five-year-old Kotaro Sato. As the title says, he lives alone and we see how he builds relationships with his neighbors and other members of the surrounding community. We also witness how he overcomes different struggles and ultimately learn why he decided to live on his own at such a young age. Apart from Kotaro, the supporting characters really make the series work. You have Karino who's a budding mangaka and suddenly becomes Kotaro's unofficial guardian. Then there's Mizuki who shows off her motherly instincts and Tamaru who's pretty much the cool grandpa. You also have Kobayashi taking charge of Kotaro's legal concerns and Hanawa as his kindergarten teacher. As much as the series focuses on Kotaro's life alone, it's also about how he's able to get these characters together and intertwine their stories. It's a nice touch because you also get to know them a little better and it really feels like your typical slice of life anime. I rarely watch J-dramas and this was a title that I started on months ago, but got sidetracked. Really glad though that I was finally able to finish it today. I must say, it's the kind of series that will leave you feeling all warm, fuzzy and mushy inside. Also, did a quick search and was surprised to know that an anime adaptation is also in the works with Liden Films taking on the project for Netflix. It's set to air during the second quarter of 2022 so definitely looking forward to this one. A teaser's already been released if you're curious. For now, please enjoy Kotaro Lives Alone on Netflix. Taking a short break and drew a mashup of Shinchan & Kotaro from the Netflix anime Kotaro Lives Alone. It’s a comedy, but gets sad and endearing at some points. It’s about a 4-year-old-boy who seemingly has no parents. He moves into an apartment on his own next to an aspiring manga artist. Kotaro seems to have money and is very polite. He has a secret that he needs to do himself, but it’s obvious that he is a 4-year-old who deep down needs help. Kakegurui Twin Gets Anime Series

The prequel manga series by Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler will be getting an anime series at MAPPA (who did the first two seasons) which will be released in August 2022. Minami Tanaka will be voicing the main character Mary Saotome once again.
