Japanese Food
Korean Cuisine at its Finest I'm writing a blog about my Korean food adventures in the UAE. This will be my first trip to an Abu Dhabi Korean restaurant (Taon Korean Restaurant). In Abu Dhabi, they specialize in traditional Korean cuisine. The SOFITEL HOTEL ABU DHABI CORNICHE is home to the restaurant. This is a luxurious five-star hotel. This hotel provided me with the opportunity to eat at a Korean BBQ restaurant. Both the food and the service were outstanding. A talented chef oversees the Culinary Team at Abu Dhabi Korean Restaurant. I briefly spoke with the head chef of Abu Dhabi Korean Restaurant. The Chef Explains Korean Cuisine And Culture.
Tataki
Tataki is a Japanese preparation in which red meat, fish, or even tofu is seasoned, seared at a high temperature, and quickly cooled to keep the center as rare or untouched as possible - for this reason, use the best quality meat or fish you can afford. Scott Hallsworth's Japanese starter recipe calls for a moderately aged piece of beef fillet, which he serves with tangy ponzu sauce, onion salsa, and wafer thin garlic crisps. Any leftover onion salsa can be refrigerated for up to five days and used to season soups, stir fries, or salads.
Tumblr media
Nagasaki Jjamppong Nabe
Nagasaki Champon is a Nagasaki Japan regional noodle soup. One of the most plausible theories is that the dish was inspired by a Chinese dish served at a local Chinese restaurant in order to provide cheap and nutritious meals to Chinese students. The dish is now popular throughout the country. Champon is similar to ramen, but it has more vegetables and seafood simmered in its broth, and the noodles are twice as thick and have a softer texture. Champon's cloudy broth is traditionally made by boiling chicken and pork bones for hours, but this recipe makes a cloudy broth with milk, which is a good substitute for the cloudy broth.
Tumblr media
KOREAN SPICY SOFT TOFU STEW
Sundubu jjigae is a Korean stew that features soft (uncurdled) tofu as a main ingredient.
There are several ways to make sundubu jjigae with various ingredients (e.g., kimchi, minced pork, and seafood), but my favorite is the seafood version known as Haemul Sundubu Jjigae (). You can definitely taste the refreshing and clear soup.
Sundubu jjigae is generally spicy, though I believe my recipe is on the mild side. The spiciness of the stew, however, will vary depending on the type of chili powder / chili flakes used. Also, whether you used neutral oil or chili oil. A spicier version may cause you to sneeze while cooking and may even tickle your throat.
Tumblr media
Bibimbap
Bibimbap, also known as beebimbap and pronounced bee-bim-BOP, is a popular Korean rice dish topped with fresh and cooked vegetables and the hot red chile sauce gochujang. A fried egg and seasoned raw or grilled beef are usually placed on top.
Although the dish's presentation varies, the various vegetables and meat are usually placed on top of the rice and combined before eating. While Korean BBQ has grown in popularity in the United States, bibimbap is set to overtake it as one of Korea's most popular dishes.
Tumblr media
Overall, we had a fantastic day together, and I adore Korean food. Both the meal and the service were excellent. Thank you for reading about my experiences eating Korean food in the UAE. To Enhance Your Experience Consuming Korean Cuisine One of the best Korean restaurants in Abu Dhabi. It is not limited to Abu Dhabi. The best Korean restaurant in the United Arab Emirates

Korean Food in Abu Dhabi
The culinary landscape of the world is incredibly diverse. The most widely consumed cuisines are Asian and European. There are four varieties of Asian food. Asian cuisine includes dishes from Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, and North Asia, among others. Among my favorites in this category are North Korean cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Taiwanese cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Mongolian cuisine, and South Korean cuisine. Korean food is one of my favorite food types.
Tumblr media
Korean Restaurant In Abu Dubai, there are a number of Korean eateries as well as a Korean Mart. Korean sauces and flavors are used in Korean cuisine. The main ingredients are sand lance sauce, doenjang, gochujang, and ssamjang. Your taste buds get an energy boost from it. In Al Barsha, Dubai, a Korean grocery store by the Mall of Emirates is called Dubai Korean Mart. Both a traditional Korean restaurant and a Korean grocery store are located there.
Some of my favorite traditional Korean dishes are these.
Fried rice with tuna and kimchi: One of my favorite kimchis is Korean sour kimchi. You'll notice that we always have kimchi on hand if you look in our refrigerator. Both eating it as a side dish and cooking with it are enjoyable to me! One of my favorite ways to prepare kimchi in the kitchen is in kimchi fried rice. It's quick and easy to make, and it tastes great.
In Korea, tteokbokki is a well-liked fast food option. The common Korean rice cake dish tteokbokki, also known as "stir-fried rice cake," has a long history and many different variations. Topokki, dukbokki, ddeokbokki, and ddukbokki are some of its alternate names. People like to eat these spicy rice cakes both at home and on the streets. Red spicy tteokbokki is a more recent invention when compared to gungjung tteokbokki, which has been around for centuries. It was established in Seoul's Sindang-dong district by a woman by the name of Ma Bok-rim in 1953, the year the Korean War came to an end.
When making kimbap, cooked rice is stuffed with vegetables or meat (for meat eaters) before being wrapped in gim, a dried sheet of nori seaweed, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Sesame oil and soy sauce are used as seasonings. Sesame seeds are scattered on top. On the side, there is soy sauce.
Tumblr media
The spicy, chewy rice cake with gochujang sauce gained popularity as a cheap comfort food very quickly. This spicy rice cake treat had gained some notoriety as a type of street food when I was a young boy. I was raised eating tteokbokki in its purest, most traditional form, unaltered by contemporary inventions. I can still envision purchasing it from market stalls or street carts as an after-school snack.
I learned that Koreans always include strange foods in their diets, like coffee, which they call "maxim mocha," which is packaged in individually wrapped packets and contains a delicious mixture of coffee, cream, and sugar. These packets include sugar control.
Because the ingredients are layered and the sugar is at the bottom, the sugar flow is controlled by crimping the packet at the end. Use the entire packet of sugar if you want it all. I was fascinated by Korean cuisine, so I tried a lot of it and bought more Korean goods.

Korean Food in Abu Dhabi
It's nearly impossible to not fall in love with Korean food, which features meat that is grilled right on the table in front of you, steaming hot stews, chilies, and pickles.
I'm going to share 10 of the best-tasting dishes from Korean cuisine with you in this food guide.
Now is the time to eat delicious Korean food in Abu Dhabi.
Tumblr media
1. Kimchi I'm going to start this South Korean food list with something that isn't really a dish at all, but is crucial to any Korean meal: KIMCHI. While there are numerous varieties of kimchi, the most common is made from napa cabbage that has been preserved and lightly fermented in bright red chili flakes. You're on your way to becoming a Korean food connoisseur if you enjoy kimchi!
2. Samgyeopsal A South Korean foodie favorite is fatty slices of pork belly grilled right in front of your nose. With a few slabs of this incredibly tasty pork and garnishes of lettuce leaves, garlic, and chili paste, you've got a flavor to remember.
3. Bulgogi Pork Bulgogi is another well-known Korean barbecued meat specialty. While bulgogi is traditionally made with beef, it can also be made with thin strips of pork or chicken. Before grilling, the meat is marinated in sweet soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil. The version I ate above came from Dwaeji Bulgogi, a New Valley restaurant in Seoul that specializes in pork bulgogi.
4. Stew for a Hangover When I first arrived in South Korea, I was eager to try the famous Korean hangover stew. It arrived in a steaming earthenware dish. Haejangguk comes in a variety of flavors, but the one I had was made with pork spine bones. The broth was rich and spicy, with tender chunks of fatty pork and Korean chili paste as flavors.
5. Stew with Soft Tofu Sundubu Jjigae is a flavorful Korean dish served in a flaming hot pot. There isn't much more comforting on a cold rainy day than this dish, which is made with super soft tofu, a few bits of seafood, addictive kimchi soup, and an egg thrown on top.
Tumblr media
6.Soup with Korean Ox Bones The highlight of Korean seolleongtang is ox bones simmered on low heat for hours and hours. The dish is served with a few light noodles, beef slices, and green onions. The broth is delivered unsalted and unseasoned, so season with salt, pepper, chili paste, and extra green onions to taste.
7.Korean Mixed Rice The cold version, like the Dolsot Bibimbap mentioned above, is served in a metal pot. Bibimbap is a fantastic lunchtime delight when all of the ingredients are combined. I liked both the cold and hot versions, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the scorching hot dolsot bibimbap.
8.Japchae I've always loved stir-fried translucent noodles. The Korean version is delicious, with chewy stir-fried sweet potato noodles mixed with slivers of carrots, cucumber, onions, mushrooms, and occasionally meat pieces. Japchae has a mouthwatering fragrance and a flavor you'll love. It's fried in sesame oil and garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
9.Tteokbokki If you're looking for Korean street food, tteokbokki is probably the first thing you'll come across - it's all over Seoul! It's the poke bowl of Seoul, a popular, easy-to-eat, and delicious dish.
10.Gimbap The SPAM musubi was created in Hawaii using original Japanese ideas, and the gimbap was created by Koreans. Gimbap is one of South Korea's most popular foods, whether eaten as a meal or as an on-the-go snack. Gimbap is an assemblage of sushi rice, a few Korean pickled vegetables, spinach, and ham wrapped in sheets of toasted seaweed, similar to a Japanese style hand roll.

Corn Syrup
Corn syrup is found in many popular desserts and beverages. Learn more about this sweetener and how to incorporate it into your recipes.
What Is Corn Syrup, Exactly?
Corn syrup is a viscous, sweet syrup made from the natural sugars found in corn. There are two kinds of corn syrup: light and dark. Light corn syrup is clear, often vanilla-flavored, and sweeter, whereas dark corn syrup contains molasses, resulting in a deeper, richer sweetness and caramel coloring.
Tumblr media
One crucial aspect sets light corn syrup apart from high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which is present in many processed foods. When high-fructose corn syrup is refined, the majority of the glucose molecules are converted to fructose by enzymes (naturally occurring sugar in fruits and plant foods). This high-fructose content has a much stronger sweetness than corn syrup or sucrose (table sugar) when consumed in large amounts and has more detrimental effects on health.
What Is High-Fructose Corn Syrup, Exactly?
High fructose corn syrup has a bad reputation that it is still working hard to overcome. High fructose corn syrup is regular corn syrup that has had some of the glucose converted to fructose. This results in a syrup that is significantly sweeter than granulated sugar and corn syrup, but it can cause the same health problems as any other added sugar. According to research, there is no direct link between high fructose corn syrup and increased obesity rates.
How Is Corn Syrup Produced?
The process of producing regular corn syrup is relatively simple. Here's a step-by-step guide to making corn syrup:
Corn syrup is made by combining cornstarch (derived from the endosperm of corn kernels) and water.
Then, add enzymes: Amylase enzyme activity initiates hydrolysis, or the conversion of starch to sugars, which results in the production of corn syrup. This enzyme exposure sequence converts cornstarch into oligosaccharides, which are then converted into glucose molecules with the addition of glucoamylase. The longer this process runs, the sweeter and more viscous the resulting syrup becomes.
Mix in any additional sugars or flavorings: At this point, flavorings will be added to the syrup. Vanilla or salt are commonly used to flavor light corn syrups. Molasses enhances the flavor and color of dark corn syrup.
Tumblr media
Corn Syrup Applications
Commercial corn syrup is used in baked goods, condiments such as jams and jellies, and candy making by bakers, confectioners, and large-scale manufacturers. The syrup ensures a smooth texture in sugar pies, pecan pie (or pecan tassies), chess pies, homemade ice creams, and sorbets by preventing the formation of sugar crystals.
Desserts, soft drinks, fruit juices, yogurt, bread, and cereals all contain high-fructose corn syrup. The syrup is sometimes used as a humectant, which acts as a preservative by retaining moisture and preventing certain foods from drying out.
What Are the Differences Between Sugar and Corn Syrup?
The sugar cane plant yields sugar, including granulated sugar. The sugar cane plant's stalks are minced and juiced to create sugar cane syrup. The crystals are then separated from the syrup and used to make raw sugar after the syrup has been boiled until it starts to crystallize. At this point, the raw sugar goes through several refinements to create products that are used on a daily basis, like white granulated sugar.

Korean Food Abu Dhabi
If you are a foodie, you are aware of how highly regarded Korean cuisine is on the World Cuisine Map. There's a lot more to it than just Kimchi. Korean food, like any other Asian cuisine, is an acquired taste.
Korean cuisine evolved over time as a result of social and political changes. Korean cuisine, unlike Western course meals, includes both main and side dishes. Traditional Korean food is composed of five primary colors: green, red, yellow, white, and black. Each one represents a different direction, a natural element, and a health benefit.
For those who want to try Korean food in Abu Dhabi but are unsure where to start, here is a list of all Korean dishes to add to your 'Try-it' list.
Here is a list of Korean foods that you should try this year. Aside from the standard Kimchi and Korean BBQ dishes, there is much more to Korean cuisine that a foodie should be aware of.
Tumblr media
1. Korean Bibimbap (Rice Bowl)
For those who find comfort in food bowls, Bibimbap will fill and comfort you. Bibimbap is a delicious concoction of rice, vegetables, beef, gochujang (hot chili paste), and a fried egg seasoned with soy sauce and sesame seeds.
Bibimbap was originally created as a royal dish, but it quickly became a favorite staple lunch meal among Korean dishes.
2. Japchae 2 (Stir-Fried Glass Noodles)
Japchae, arguably Korea's favorite noodle dish, consists of glass noodles stirred in sesame oil with beef, mushrooms, and a variety of other vegetables. Sweet potato is used to make these clear, thin noodles.Unlike other Asian soupy noodle dishes, Koreans consider it impolite to eat with the bowl so close to the mouth. So they slurp these flavorful noodles with a spoon and metal chopsticks.
3.Samgyeopsal (Korean BBQ)
Koreans are crazy about pork. Samgyeopsal is their barbecue style. If you are a non-vegetarian who enjoys pork meat, you should try Samgyeopsal. The dish is simply thick slices of marinated pork belly meat grilled on your table. The strips are dipped in sesame oil seasoning and wrapped in lettuce with a strip of garlic and onion. It's a popular Korean dish.
4. Kimbap/Gimbap (Korean-Style Sushi)
Gimbap, also known as Kimbap, is a popular grab-and-go Korean street food that resembles Japanese sushi rolls. This Korean food recipe features sushi rice, meat, spinach, and stir-fried vegetables wrapped in a seaweed roll. The roll is then cut into small bite-sized discs and served as a side dish with kimchi. You should try it the next time you're in Seoul.
5. Jjigae Sundubu (Soft Tofu Stew)
Soft Tofu Stew is a flavor explosion in a bowl. A popular Korean stew is made with tofu, vegetables, meat, seafood, and chili paste, and topped with a raw egg. The stew is served in a large stone bowl with rice and kimchi on the side. This hot stew, which varies by region, is a delightful combination of unexpected flavors that yields delightful sensations.
6. Tteokbokki (Spicy Red Rice Cake)
Tteokbokki is a popular Seoul street food made of sweet and chewy rice cakes and fish cakes. Steamed rice cakes are mixed with fish cakes and scallions in a special sauce made from chili paste and soybean paste. For those who enjoy hot and spicy flavors, the flavorful street food is a must-try.
7.Seolleongtang (Ox Bone Soup)
Seolleongtang is a popular Korean food name in households, similar to how we Indians have 'Kharode ka Soup' in the winter. The winter soup is made from boiled ox and beef bones for hours. Proteins are abundant in white soups. Seasonings for the low-cost noodle soup include salt, pepper, garlic, and scallions. On cold winter days, nothing beats a bowl of this flavorful soup.

In this blog post, we delve into the world of fusion cuisine in the UAE's dynamic food service sector, exploring the trends, influences, and the market's response to this culinary fusion.
The UAE Food Service Market: A Hub of Diversity
The UAE's food service market is a thriving industry that caters to a multicultural population and a booming tourism sector. From the bustling streets of Dubai to the cultural hub of Abu Dhabi, restaurants and eateries offer a vast array of cuisines, from traditional Emirati dishes to international fare. This diverse market provides the perfect environment for fusion cuisine to flourish, as chefs are inspired by the eclectic mix of cultures and ingredients at their disposal.
Trends in Fusion Cuisine
Fusion cuisine is all about breaking culinary boundaries and blending diverse flavours, techniques, and ingredients. In the UAE, this trend has taken on a life of its own, with chefs drawing inspiration from global cuisines to create unique and innovative dishes. Here are some trends that have been making waves in the UAE's fusion food scene:
Arabic-Asian Fusion: One of the most prominent fusion trends in the UAE is the marriage of Arabic and Asian flavours. Chefs are combining the aromatic spices of Middle Eastern cuisine with the delicate balance of flavours found in Asian dishes. Dishes like Arabic-inspired sushi rolls, shawarma tacos, and falafel sliders with a hint of soy sauce are just a few examples of this fusion at work.
Health-Conscious Fusion: As the world becomes more health-conscious, so do the culinary creations in the UAE. Chefs are blending healthy ingredients and cooking techniques from different cuisines to create dishes that are both nutritious and delicious. Quinoa tabbouleh, avocado hummus, and sushi burritos with brown rice are popular choices for health-conscious diners looking for innovative options.
Gourmet Street Food Fusion: Street food from around the world has found its way onto the plates of upscale restaurants in the UAE, often with a gourmet twist. Think gourmet burgers with Korean BBQ sauce, lobster tacos with a Mediterranean flair, or gourmet hot dogs with Middle Eastern toppings. This blending of casual street food with high-end dining has created a unique dining experience for foodies in the UAE.
Dessert Fusion: The sweet side of fusion cuisine is equally exciting, with pastry chefs creating desserts that fuse traditional sweets with global flavours. Baklava cheesecake, saffron-infused macarons, and matcha kunafa are just a few examples of the creative desserts found in UAE restaurants.
Market Response and Consumer Demand
The UAE food service market has responded enthusiastically to the rise of fusion cuisine. Diners are increasingly seeking out unique dining experiences that offer more than just traditional dishes. The fusion of flavours provides an exciting and adventurous option for those looking to explore new tastes.
Restaurants that embrace fusion cuisine are not only meeting consumer demand for innovation but also attracting a diverse clientele. Tourists and locals alike are drawn to establishments that offer a fusion of flavours, as it represents the multicultural essence of the UAE.
Challenges and Opportunities
While fusion cuisine in the UAE is thriving, it does come with its set of challenges. Balancing flavours from different culinary traditions can be a delicate art, requiring skilled chefs with a deep understanding of ingredients and techniques. Additionally, sourcing authentic ingredients from around the world can be a logistical challenge.
However, these challenges also present opportunities for growth and creativity. Chefs are continuously experimenting with new combinations, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the kitchen. The UAE's food service market rewards innovation, and establishments that can successfully execute fusion cuisine often find themselves at the forefront of the culinary scene.

It represents the intersection of cultures, flavours, and culinary traditions, offering a unique dining experience for residents and visitors alike. As the UAE continues to embrace its multicultural identity, fusion cuisine will undoubtedly remain a dynamic and exciting trend in the country's diverse culinary landscape.

Asian Food In Abu Dhabi
Tumblr media
In my travels for food in the United Arab Emirates, I like sampling a variety of international cuisines from across the world. On this basis, I tried Japanese cuisine, which is considered one of the best cuisines in East Asia. These cuisines are similar to Korean cuisine. However, in Korean cuisine, variety of spices and flavors are used. Korean cuisine is generally more spicy than Japanese cuisine. In my trip to the United Arab Emirates, I am in Abu Dhabi. The UAE’s capital, this place is brimming with UAE culture and vibrant cuisine. Like both regional and international cuisines. There are several Japanese and Asian restaurants in Abu Dhabi, and I enjoy the Trip To Abu dhabi
Japanese Cuisine
Rice with miso soup and other meals are staples of Japanese cuisine, which places a strong focus on seasonal ingredients. Fish, pickled vegetables, and vegetables in broth are frequently served as side dishes. Seafood is widely available and is frequently grilled, although it is also served raw as sashimi or in sushi.
What differs Japanese cuisine from other cuisines?
Tumblr media
What are the differences between Japanese and Korean cuisines?
A full collection of cooking traditions and conventions peculiar to a given place, religion, or culture, each with its own idiosyncrasies, is referred to as food culture. The distinctions between Japanese and Korean food are as follows. A difference in flavor: Korean cuisine uses a variety of spices and sauces, including two prominent ones: soy sauce and oyster sauce. Almost every Korean food has these spices and sauces, which add a savory taste to the dish. Japanese cuisine, on the other hand, uses a little amount of spices. The Japanese like a mild flavor and scent, and most meals stick to the natural flavors of the major components. The Japanese, in particular, do not use a lot of peppers in their cooking, although Koreans frequently consume hot cuisine.
Famous local food
Sushi, ramen, and sashimi are popular Japanese dishes. All of which may be found in Japan as well as other parts of the world, but are native to Japan and consumed in accordance with Japanese culture. Barbecued and grilled meats, as well as Kimchi, are popular Korean cuisine (which is not actually a dish in itself but a side dish or a means to add flavor to other dishes).

Why Korean Food Is Popular In The World?
Authentic Korean Food About my experiences eating Korean food in the United Arab Emirates, I keep a blog. For the first time, I’m going to a Korean restaurant in Abu Dhabi (Taon Korean Restaurant). In Abu Dhabi, they specialize in serving traditional Korean food. The SOFITEL HOTEL ABU DHABI CORNICHE is where the restaurant is situated. It’s a five-star luxurious hotel. I had the opportunity to eat at a Korean BBQ restaurant thanks to this hotel. Both the meal and the service were top-notch. A competent chef is in charge of the Abu Dhabi Korean Restaurant’s culinary team. I spoke briefly with the chef de cuisine of the Abu Dhabi Korean Restaurant. The chef gives a brief introduction to Korean culture and cuisine.
Ddukbokki (Spicy Rice Cake) (Spicy Rice Cake)
A spicy Korean meal called Ddukbokki (also called Tteokbokki) is composed of cylinder-shaped rice cakes, triangular fish cakes, veggies, and a sweet red chili sauce. Ddeukbokki is well-known for its sweet and sour flavors.
Sundubu-jjigae (Soft Tofu Stew) (Soft Tofu Stew)
Served in a sizable stone bowl, sundubu-jjigae is a hot Korean stew that includes dubu (tofu), vegetables, mushrooms, fish, beef, or pig, as well as gochujang (chili paste). Some ingredients may be changed, substituted, or added to the dish depending on the chef and the setting. A raw egg is typically added on top of the stew and swirled with the broth before serving to improve the flavor, even though there are many variations.
Traditional Korean condiments include kimchi (Fermented Vegetables)
One of the oldest and most significant foods in Korean cuisine is kimchi, a sour and spicy fermented vegetable dish. Although a variety of components can be used, cabbage is the most popular. The unusual flavor, great nutritional value, fiber content, and low-calorie count of kimchi are all reasons why foreigners like it. But because of its cultural importance, Koreans particularly enjoy it. Kimchi is a necessary component of every meal.
Seolleongtang (Ox Bone Soup) (Ox Bone Soup)
Ox bones, ox flesh, and briskets are the main ingredients of Korea’s traditional hot soup seolleongtang. It is usually spiced with salt, ground black pepper, chopped green onions, or minced garlic, depending on the consumer’s preferences. The soup is typically served with rice and has a milky white, hazy look. Nearly all Korean restaurants in Seoul serve seolleongtang, which is renowned for its soft yet chewy texture and creamy broth.
Fried chicken.
Traditional American fast food is given a unique flavor by Korean fried chicken. In contrast to its American equivalents, the chicken is double-fried in vegetable oil after being covered in a sweet and spicy sauce. Some eateries add green pepper to the batter for a spicier kick. Because of this, the interior flesh is incredibly moist, and the lightly battered skin is crispy and lard-free. It’s a well-liked late-night treat that is typically paired with a beer.

The ingredients for bi bim naengmyeon are served in a stainless steel bowl together with a cold broth, cold-boiled beef slices, julienned cucumbers, and Korean pear slices. The long, thin noodles can be made using flour, buckwheat, sweet potatoes, seaweed, or green tea in some forms. Although customers can request that the noodles be sliced to their preferences, the noodles are normally offered uncut since they stand for longevity and well-being.
However, we did enjoy a delectable lunch, and I gained some knowledge about Korean cuisine. Both the meal and the service were top-notch. I know where to go in the UAE if I want to sample real Korean food. I sincerely hope you liked reading about my gastronomic explorations in Korea; the eateries featured below come highly recommended. Design Of Restaurant
The lovely and eco-friendly traditional designs of Korean dwellings, known as ‘Hanok’ in the local language, began to be erected in the 14th century, under the Joseon Dynasty, and are named ‘Hanok’ in the local language. Korean architecture takes into account the house’s location about its surroundings, as well as the terrain and seasons. The house’s interior is similarly designed in this manner. The use of ‘hanji’ — paper formed from the bark of the mulberry tree — on walls, doors, ceilings, and even the floor is a unique element of traditional houses.
Excelleinsulationing, transparency, sunshine, ventilation n, and humidity levels are adjusted, and even floating dust particles are trapped — how environmentally friendly. In the design and building of a traditional house, the inside is not the only consideration. What matters most is how it interacts with the rest of the environment. A vital component is a physical and aesthetic harmony between the outside and the surrounding nature. Wood, rock, and dirt were mostly utilized to construct traditional dwellings since they are eco-friendly, recyclable, and have natural components. Tiles cover the roof, c, lay and rock cover the walls and flooring, and paper covers the windows and entrances. Traditional patterns might be seen as a symbolism-based yearning for a perfect life.
Nature’s beauty, a desire for paradise, affection, and good luck prayers are frequently shown in designs.
