Serious question for the Weremayhem AU! Would the other Muppets really bat an eye at you all being were-creatures?
I mean, they're already working with all kinds of monsters, like Sweetums, Uncle Deadly and Big Mean Carl, who are pretty scary but not bad guys, and they've worked with aliens such as the Koozebanians and Gonzo (if you're going by Muppets from Space canon in the latter case).
I think some of the Muppets, likely Scooter, Walter and maybe Robin would think the concept of were-creatures would be neat, because of movies and comics.
Pepe's probably indulged in some were-creature-based romance stuff so he may be fascinated.
Bunsen and Beaker could be interested on a scientific level, which isn't necessarily bad as long as they don't try to do anything to harmful to you guys. (It's more likely to harm Beaker than you guys)
Fozzie might make jokes about it, probably animal-based puns.
Piggy probably wouldn't care as long as it doesn't interfere with her life and stardom.
And Kermit's known you guys for years! I doubt he'd abandon you now because of this secret. He's too kind to do that.
Floyd: I know that none of them would be scared of us, but the doc made the rule. We tried to get him to let us show our forms, but he wouldn't let us do it. One time, I did argue with him about it, but it didn't end well. I don't know why he wants to hide our foams from our friends.

For some reason you talking about the Muppets brought back a memory of when I was twelve and remembered seeing the Koozebanian mating ritual bit on Sesame Street and having it click for the first time that it was about sex and wondering it was on an educational show for toddlers (I was misremembering. I saw it on the 30th anniversary special which I had on a VHS that I watched over and over as a kid)
Anyway glad that's off my chest. Hope you have a nice day.
this is the perfect kind of childhood memory. it has it all: being allowed to watch something you maybe shouldnt have, mistaking the source, the muppets

The koozebanian mating ritual doth remain one of the funniest things ever to me. Kermit Attenborough-ish commentary. Frank Oz and Jerry Nelson’s truly unhinged performances. The payoff. Ugh. Inspired.

Trending 27th - July 2019
So far, there’s been a 15-second cameo of the characters from Gravity Falls as Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters in the Mystery Kids Mysteries. GF fans would be absolutely nuts to ignore Wander Over Yonder after that clever little cameo came up.
Also, in the finale of Future-Worm, we got a glimpse of Wander and Sylvia as the apparent owners of The Star Nomad, the ship that was said to play a very important role in the currently shelved and unspecified third season. If it wasn’t for Ryan Quincy, we’d still be clueless.
Now here’s the big question: Which character(s) would I like to see in a crossover episode?
I was thinking WOY’s third season would have Eden Sher playing a Sailor Moon-esque warrior princess named Storm Butterbee (the alien version of Star Butterfly) so the show would mooch off Star vs. the Forces of Evil’s popularity like it did with that GF cameo in The Cartoon.
Tumblr media
Then again, with shows like Amphibia and The Owl House getting more of the attention these days (because their creators were involved in GF, apparently), maybe WOY would have a better chance if it included characters from those shows in some form. Imagine, for example, Anne Boonchuy and Sprig Plantar in the Jay Ward cartoon style, the former with a bit of a head structure that brings to mind Gidney and Cloyd (from Rocky and Bullwinkle) and the latter closely resembling Hoppity Hooper.
Tumblr media
On the other hand, if we assume WOY’s third season was to take place before Amphibia was picked up, these variations probably wouldn’t exist, so let’s move on.
Outer space. Aliens. This is going to be an unusual answer.
What would make for a great episode would have a callback to the sketch from the Phyllis Diller episode of The Muppet Show: Hugga Wugga. What’s different here is we see the characters in their full-bodied forms.
Tumblr media
Like Lord Hater, Hugga Wugga has a short temper, a gruff voice, a violent nature, and a special attack (Hugga Wugga has a funnel nose that blasts anyone who doesn’t chant what he’s chanting). The creature who sings “You Are My Sunshine” would be enough to make Wander rush in, give him a big hug, and sing in unison with him. The bird-like creature with the warbly voice and Cookie Monster-esque googly eyes would appear as well.
If anyone’s going to make a cameo in WOY, it would also have to be any of the Koozebanian creatures - they look like they’d fit right in, what with the Muppets being one of the show’s inspirations. Maybe they could also find a way to add a WOY version of Pigs in Space. There’s been an announcement of the Muppet Babies reboot getting a third season, and what better way to promote the Muppets than with Wander Over Yonder!
Tell me, Disney, what more is it gonna take to finally convince you that WOY deserves one more season (or TV movie) even if it means moving it to Disney+? I bet you could make a lot more loot if you throw in the main cast of Mystery Kids Mysteries again, only this time, you’d add Lindy, the extraterrestrial cartoon version of Wendy (credit for her goes to Chillguydraws), and several secondary characters if possible.
