Bad Buddy ep 3 thoughts/reaction
like 30 secs in and they already confirm that pran had a crush on pat in high school, like it seemed kinda obvious but i wasn’t sure they’d actually do it
i get why pat’s first idea for the guitar pick was the id but why did this idiot actually go through with it
also who wants to bet that pran still has the pick with pat’s face, i’m surprised he didn’t pull it out at some point in this episode but maybe next week when he actually sits down to play the guitar
i am very hungry and those noodles look so fucking right now
im sorry i made another post about it but all i could think about was that chopstick fight scene in kung fu panda when patpran were fighting with the chopsticks
also i can’t believe neat freak pran would actually eat the dumpling that had been in pat’s mouth
pran’s when pat said he actually was waiting for him
hey, a product placement that didn’t make me want to cringe
i would just like to commend p’aof, ohm, and nanon for delivering this teasing/flirting dynamic really well where they act antagonistic to each other but they clearly really enjoy fighting with each other, it’s one of my favorite dynamics and it’s just really well done in this series

you guys started it by being dicks to wai when he was working and couldn’t fight back, you don’t even need to count the video
you can tell this story is fiction bc the school only punishes the instigators as if they give a fuck
the idea of pran, pat, and pa just casually being friends before while the parents are having this intense rivalry is so funny to me
nanon is just the best at facial expressions
why is pran doing all the work when he wasn’t even a part of the fight? like i get wanting to help his friends but he’s literally just doing everything?
i’m glad pran is calling pat out for participating in bullying wai, it kinda pissed me off last ep
i wish people in my library were that apologetic when they made noise
also pat throwing the flyer as a paper airplane bc he knew pran wouldn’t listen to him is cute
look at them all fancy with their ties and proper uniforms
pran acting annoyed but he’s actually pleased to have pat with him for the presentation

i’ve been thinking this since ep 1 but engineering and architecture are such complimentary majors for them to choose so it’s exciting to see them actually work together
also exciting to see students actually do work from their field, it’s the same feeling as tian making the chair or explaining the airplane in atots
patpran subverting the wifey/weird male/female binary in a gay relationship trope by making jokes about it
it’s they way they can’t hold back their smiles while acting out the scenario
“drink from the drainpipe” lmao, he looked so earnest too
you just knew pran was gonna spill the drink on him
i hope sarcastically calling each other honey when they’re mad at each other becomes their thing
i thought they were gonna go the stereotypical route of a school fundraiser or smth
pat tricking his friends into helping was actually very smart
i hope we get to see them all becoming friends now, though i have a feeling there’s gonna be at least one more big fight for plot purposes
i knew pat prob had the guitar when he told pran he should look for it but he just??? had it in his closet??? like he had no idea that he would ever even see pran again but he brought the guitar to college? there’s not het explanation for this
this is why you don’t pace in front of a door with a peephole in it
pat 100% def did not try to sell the guitar
pls p’aof, i would give anything for them to have to perform together in the contest
pat and pran both def had some sort a realization sitting in that hallway
next ep preview: not much to say about it other than it looks fun
another slam dunk of an episode, gmmtv just needs p’aof to direct all their bls going forward, ohm and nanon’s chemistry is just so good, can’t wait for next week

pran i would die for you already
the way he stops to put all his stuff away before going to the fight and the way his friend is completely used to it
this is some professional looking fighting for just a bunch of college students
iconic reunion for patpran, the scene is even better knowing it’s the first time they’ve seen each other in 3 years
the competition between the mothers was actually pretty funny
the smug ass look on baby pran’s face with all the hearts on his shirt
pran is such a smug bastard this episode and I love him for it
something tells me one or both of them will face expulsion at some point
can’t believe they really started all these fights over a middle finger
lol they acknowledged the pandemic
i’m loving all the comparisons between the two families
pran’s face after winning the trashcan fight
pran and pat clearly feeling pretty neutral toward each other at dinner but immediately picking a fight by the trashcans
pa is too good for pat
fingers extra double crossed that we don’t get any kind of subplot with pa liking pran and that the only reason she’s protective is the drowning thing
can’t believe we saw nanon’s chest before we saw ohm’s
also pat getting staring like that
pran immediately complaining about the font of the poster, as if that’s what his friend would’ve wanted to point out
i know gmm is allergic to not having a guitar in their bls but was it really necessary
at least ohm playing the drums is kind of new (except for tharn who did it first), but maybe they’ll slightly subvert the sing your feelings trope and instead of them playing for each other something happens and they have to play together (not what it seemed like based on the trailer, but a girl can dream)
why is ohm’s school dorm nicer than my apartment
i’m loving this dynamic between them where they actually get along pretty well even if they’re annoyed by each other
patpran: thinking they’re geniuses for their plan

when do we get the backstory of their fight that made one of them get transferred in high school

okay but did pat actually want pran to put the bruise cream on his face
they’re both such children
pat being embarrassed over his username
prediction: pran is going to bring up the favor pat owes him at some point or he already used the favor and it has something to do with what got one of them transferred back in high school
so i love the way they started this with patpran not actually hating each other, their fights are more out of routine than any real animosity which is nice so we don’t have to go through six episodes of them slowly getting closer just to reach the friend title
next ep preview: the chaos of pat getting a note on his door and instantly thinking it’s a girl and they have a crush on him, pran thinking the note back is also a girl, them being the spiderman meme when they realize it’s each other
this first episode has exceeded my expectations, and while it was different than what i was expecting, it was definitely better than what i was expecting, so im excited to watch their relationship develop now and see all the cute moments from the credits

we love the comparison of the morning routine
I am either pat or pran depending on the day
i always admire the amount of chaotic energy drake brings to his characters
the faces pat and pran make at each other are great
pat: receives one (1) generic apology note
pat: the hot girl across the hall who i’ve never met before must have a crush on me
thank you pa for calling out his stupid logic, even if he won’t listen
the number of faces pran makes as he tries to figure out how he feels about the note
pran’s friends are best bois
pat’s friends are not, i will give them a chance to redeem themselves but they need to stop being such assholes
spiderman meme
the gay chicken flirting that turns into real flirting
that poor girl who’s just trying to talk to her partner (at least she got some free snacks)
pat’s friends really bug me, going after wai even he’s at work so he can’t do anything about about it
also pat for just sitting back and letting happen, laughing along with them
okay but why can’t they both have friends over if they’re in their own rooms? as long as they don’t enter or leave at the same time
also, i wasn’t really think about this the first time i watched, but the way pat’s friends are knocking on the door would be so fucking scary, like i would be terrified if some dudes did that to my door
pran not wanting to go into pat’s room but wanting pat in his room even more is so relatable
i love the patpran chaos energy
the wooden piece with the outline of gears on pat’s wall is really cool looking
but what if pran only followed him around with the guitar because he wanted to play together?
also, you’re an adult, that’s kinda a shitty way to talk about a kid, like keep your feud to the other adults
Poor pran really didn’t need that
they really tricked us into thinking this was enemies to lovers when this is really exes to lovers
okay pran’s parents def didn’t make pran transfer just bc of the band, there’s def more to it, I’m just wondering if pran knows the real reason behind it (which I think he does) and would explain some of his behavior this ep
i know we’ll also see more of them in high school bc in the ending credits there’s a scene of them playing music together in their high school uniforms, so i think we’ll see their friendship in high school
the poor lady showing pran the rooms
i love their petty little arguments
okay but what happened in the elevator?
how does the fighting get so destructive that it brings down the whole pavilion
next ep preview: it looks so cute! i guess the groups will have to work together to rebuild the pavilion? maybe it will be enough to bring a temporary truce between them
so it seems like the pace is going to move pretty fast but i think pran is going to be the one to hold them back, i think pat will try to dive in head first once he realizes his feelings but pran clearly has a lot of insecurities (which im sure we will learn more about) and they will make him a lot more hesitant about the relationship
anyways, another amazing episode, thank you p’aof, can’t wait till next week

Fish Upon the Sky episode 6 thoughts/reaction
duen i would die for you
i love that meen is actually more assertive than his first impression, and he’s not as naive as i thought he would be
meen demanding headrubs and using duen’s head as a lap pillow
i love morkpi but duenmeen is the superior couple, i’ve been completely taken by them
i hope they never have any major angst plot, they can just be cute side fluff
i also love that duen fell in love so fast, i thought it would take him a lot longer
pi having that photo of nan above his bed is actually pretty cute
also it’s just a very cute photo of mix
lol pi realizing that duen took his coat and that conversation between them on the phone
i’m upset that the perfume gag never came back up again that day
i wish mork would respect pi wanting privacy a bit more, regardless of whether they’re together or not, pi not wanting the entire campus to ship him with someone he doesn’t like is perfectly reasonable
duen being the worst dentist student ever
i’m just loving the way meen does little things and duen just freezes up in absolute adoration, his lovesick puppy eyes are the best
the serene music for meen vs the action music for duen’s boner lol
gee, wonder who the four volunteers will be
lol the kitty gang coming out like the ghostbusters then choking on the dust
duen breaking the fourth wall to ask the writers why the kitty gang showed up
“you know what these five fingers mean? someone here is a fifth year”
just the pure chaotic energy of the kitty gang and duen
mork pretending he can’t see to try to get to hold pi’s hand

The whole interaction between pi and mork at the table was pretty funny, but i also felt a little bad for pi bc it’s very frustrating when you feel like someone else is misunderstanding or misinterpreting you and you aren’t able to fully express yourself
lol at AJ wearing the shitty mosquito costume
i kept waiting for nan to walk in on pi’s bathroom fit again
duen totally cares about meen’s feelings
i ship nanmorkpi so much and it’s the writers fault for giving nan such good chemistry with pi
nan is really out here just trying to be a good wingman for mork
i’m glad pi at least got the chance to tell nan about his feelings and get that out there before he moves on
does you rheart always beat faster around someone you like? or when they touch you? asking as an aromantic
but damn nan really out here psychoanalyzing pi
even though we know pi’s feelings for nan probably weren’t too deep, it’s nice to see that the rejection really was painful bc it shows that pi’s feelings were real (even if th writers try to downplay it later)
at least meen is going to find out next ep so they lie doesn’t stretch too long
i also feel like part of pi confessing to nan is a kind of self-test, like if nan--handsome, kind, popular--likes pi back then it means he’s worth something, but if nan can’t like him back then it would mean he’s worthless, which is very sad pls have more confidence pi!
i love that we’re finally getting the explanation of fish upon the sky
can someone please tell the writers that it’s okay for one of the main characters to have genuine feelings for someone who isn’t the other lead and for those feelings to have a significant impact on them and their growth even if those feelings aren’t endgame and that they don’t need to be reduced to “he’s hot and nice”?
pi chugging a whole can of beer in order to pass out and avoid talking about his feelings is such a mood
pls give us more soft dorky mork who gazes dreamily at his sleeping crush then panics when said crush starts to wake up, he’s so much cuter than smooth-talking mork (thought he’s good too)
i need everybody in this show to pls back off pi for a bit and give him time to think through his feelings and stop pressuring him pls
hey i really need the mom to not be mad that pi understandly keep his sexuality a secret, that’s not info you’re entitled to just because you have a close relationship
also wish we had had a bit more build to pi “changing”
i need the mom to back off, confronting someone like that is not how you start a healthy conversation
this scene of pi in the rain is just so heartbreaking, i’m glad someone is there to give him a hug
that feeling of never being quiet the right thing or quite enough even when you try your best is so painful
next ep: i’m glad mork and pi have agreed to be friends bc what pi really needs right now is a friends rather than a lover until he can learn to love himself and know that there isn’t anything wrong with him, also finally the confrontation btw duen and meen, i hope duen tells the whole truth and doesn’t just make up more lies, also we finally get to meet mystery brother (who i assume is probably a source of a lot of pi’s self-worth issues)
very good episode, some quality characters development, i wish we had seen a bit more build up to the thing with the mom but i’m interested in how they’ll work that out (seeing as they seemed to have resolved it in the preview), looking forward to next week

A Tale of a Thousand Stars ep 8 thoughts/reaction
did i watch this episode secretly on my phone while i was in class bc i couldn’t stand waiting a whole hour to watch the new ep? maybe
tian visiting torfun’s memorial to leave flowers and tell her that he’s going to pha pun dao was sweet
also him and phupha missing each other again was just a really nice scene and phupha wondering who left her flowers
i have decided to forgive dr nam for last episode (the snooping not the flirting thing) bc i know he was just concerned about his friend and he didn’t intend for phupha to have that kind of reaction, but he still should’ve confronted tian directly before telling phupha
the way tian is looking at longtae in the beginning, seeing how supportive he’s being and knowing that he’s probably about to lose longtae as well
god this scene was so painful to watch, just knowing what was coming
but the editing that combines tian’s speech with phupha reading through the notebook
also, thank you to the writers for confirming that the tian/torfun similarities are bc he’s been reading the notebook and not because torfun’s spirit is possessing him, i didn’t think they would do that but nice to have confirmation
poor tian really did go there with the best intentions
oof, when the music goes silent when phupha interrupts his speech
also, i said this last week, but it should’ve been the rangers responsibility to tell everyone torfun had died and the fact that they didn’t only added to tian’s burden and the animosity aimed at him, and it annoyed me the way the rangers (perhaps unintentionally) let tian take on the full blame and didn’t admit that they had known about torfun’s death from the start
god and the way tian’s heart break is visible on his face as soon as phupha interrupts/confronts him and he realizes that phupha won’t be on his side
and mix’s acting in this scene (and the entire episode) is just so good, you can see the way he’s desperately trying to keep in together and not completely break down, and his heartbreak when he realizes he’s all alone
also, i made a longer post about how i understand phupha’s reaction, I think it’s pretty natural and that he’s not overreacting, however, i do wish he hadn’t confronted tian so publicly like that
just everything about this scene is just so good in the most painful way, especially the sad orchestral version of the theme song
now i think this ep is too sad for me to say it’s my favorite, but from a narrative/cinematography perspective it is my favorite, it was just really well done
i was really hoping the kids would have a bigger role this ep and begin the forgiveness process for the rest of the village, so i was excited when Meejoo came but then p’aof decided to stab me directly in the heart when she asked what death is
(also im sorry but how old are these kids that she doesn’t know what the word death is?)
(also given that everything that happens in this ep happens within like a 30 hour period, i still hold hope for the kids forgiving next ep once they have some time to process)
at least they didn’t make me watch the scene where tian had to explain what death was, that would’ve killed me
i understand the villager’s reactions too, and i do kind of wish tian would just stay home and give them some time to grieve and process before trying to interact with them–i don’t blame tian for keeping the truth from them this long, but he does need to respect the pain they’re going through
also this scene with phupha really fucked me up, the way phupha remains stone faced even though he’s clearly in a lot of pain
“i wish i could return it to her” one of the things about this story that really fucks me up is that you can’t have both torfun and tian--torfun had to die for tian to live, and if torfun had lived then tian would have died and all the characters are in a way stuck with this moral dilemma of “choosing” between tian and torfun, even if the decision was already made for them, and tian has had to deal with this problem since the beginning and made his choice a long time ago that he would have preferred that torfun had lived instead of him bc he feels like she had more to live for and left behind more than he would’ve
also the scene is so much more painful knowing that just that morning phupha had finally said out loud that he wanted tian to stay
and i was really ton this scene between understanding phupha’s reaction and where he’s coming from but also being like “please stop talking to my son like that, he feels bad enough as is”
i have often had the emotion of “i want to walk through the screen so i can give this character a hug” and i have literally never felt it stronger than this episode of atots
also thank you to dr nam who told phupha not that he was wrong for his actions, but that he should’ve confronted tian differently, also for figuring out that tian wasn’t the driver
the fact that tian just walked through the tea field so he knows that either khama was lying to him or that longtae saw him in the field and hid from him
poor longtae tho, thought he knew what was coming then was hit with “im responsible for her death”
you know what? i didn’t realize khama would have such a recurring role from the first episode, but i really like him--he’s trying to do his best for the village and that isn’t always easy and he’s the first to try to think about tian’s perspective even when it’s clearly difficult for him
also i love khaotung, he does a really good job as longtae, and as much as i loved him as chonlatee, i prefer him in more mature roles like longtae or fong
did dr nam really think phupha would keep letting tian stay in his room?
it came as a surprise to likely no one but i am glad to have definitve confirmation that tian was in fact not driving the car
against my wishes, tul did not show up this episode to give tian a hug so i hope he’s in the next ep to provide some much needed emotional support
tian’s involvement in torfun’s death is also complicated because to say he had no responsibility in it would be wrong but to say he had full responsibility wouldn’t be right either, there was so much of the situation that was just due to chance, as it the case in any accident, so i appreciate the nuance of the narrative in that tian does take responsibility (even if he takes too much) but other characters like longtae argue that it’s not his fault, bc it’s easy from an outside perspective to say it’s not tian’s fault but it would be much harder to be in tian’s position and not feel responsible that his actions lead to torfun’s death
longtae is truly best boi
tian saying he’s okay with just longtae understanding him is so sad but at the same time it’s good that he’s not trying to force other people to understand or forgive him
now i really want to know what torfun’s wish is bc you know it’s going to be all meaningful and thematically relevant
istg if i had a fucking nickel for every time tian has tried to give me a heart attack
i spent the entirety of part 4 yelling at tian to just stop being stupid
like i get it, you don’t feel like you have the time to waste to go find phupha, but still
also im worried that maybe the reason he was so adamant about doing it himself and not finding phupha was because he didn’t feel like he could go to phupha or that phupha might not believe him
tian please just listen to longtae being the voice of reason
or at least send longtae back to the village to go get phupha if you’re this determined
as soon as he pulled out his phone i fucking knew the flash would go off bc tian can’t be smart without also being dumb
pls don’t hit my son he has a weak heart
longtae running away like “i didn’t sign up for this shit”
pls stop hitting my son
i was wondering how tian’s dad would become involved in the story again and tian name dropping him to escape being killed by poachers was not it
but sakda was clearly scared when tian first said the name so obvi they’re connected and i’m assuming the person who called tian’s dad was either sakda or one of the other men there which means that tian’s dad is doing illegal shit (surprise surprise)
tian i know you’re stressed but pls let rang provide first aid
that montage at the end tho really hit me
also the parallels between this scene and the one when tian fainted in the field, it’s literally the exact same scene but the roles are reversed
also the fucking post credits scene, the emotional whiplash, the pain from knowing phupha said this stuff literally hours before everything went wrong
the way i squealed when phupha said i do (and throught the rest of the scene), it was literally the sweetest thing, it might be my favorite phutian moment so far
so for the last two episodes, im assuming that tian’s dad coming to get him and the dad being involved in illegal stuff will be the main external conflict, i wouldn’t be surprised if next ep ended with the dad showing up and demanding to take tian back
also the next ep preview, khama telling tian to forgive himself, im weak
this episode just made me feel so much, the story is just so complex and nuanced, and the characters are real and messy, and pls more bl in the future that aren’t afraid to tell more serious stories (as much as i love the romcom style of most bls i would love some more variety)

Fish Upon the Sky ep 8 thoughts/reaction
lol the game host is like ‘what just happened?’
glad mork finally learns to back off in this ep bc public declarations of affections are clearly not the way to pi’s heart (don’t know how he hasn’t picked up on that to this point)
the episode is titled social distancing and that’s hilarious to me (and pretty fitting for the ep)
the shippers somehow got worse (but i guess that’s the point)
(and i’ll forgive prik bc at least she has a conscience later on)
i still don’t like him using the texting thing to try to influence pi--thought pi seems to be catching on to his weird behavior
but i like how we can see more of mork’s desperation this ep instead of just smugness like the balcony scene
now mork just needs to give him some fucking space already
i think i say it every week but i love duen, he’s ready to fight anyone who messes with his brother
also the scared look on mork’s face when duen threatened him
i love duen, but i must admit that if someone like him acted towards me the way he acted towards girls i’d prob react the same as those girls
at least he’s self-aware of his personality
aw poor baby meen tho, he’s so sad
i would like to see pi and meen interact more please
(also duen and mork better get some scenes together where duen gives mork the shovel talk)

but yeah that fanpage is really getting out of hand
mork’s interview really pisses me off with the way mork is so sure about pi being in love but just repressed (when pi really is just confused and i don’t think he’s fully in love yet like everyone thinks) and the only reason i can forgive him is bc he knows how badly he fucked up once pi tells him off
also the vaccine thing is still pissing me off, you don’t get a vaccine when you’re already sick, it’s a preventative thing
good for pi just throwing the phones
for all mork’s confidence, i think he is trying his best to woo pi and he just really doesn’t know how and maybe this is his first time actually going after someone, so i hope we see some actual growth in the next few eps where mork does things that would appeal to pi specifically
i’m so glad pi finally got to vent on mork a bit, it was a long time coming and honestly they both needed it
so prik is redeemed (somewhat) but kluea is now going down a weird evil route
so pi says he made the clips himself (and there are an unknown amount of clips but more than one) so i think it’s more likely that he gave one to duen (or duen stole one) and that’s how it got to meen (i don’t think meen having a secret connection to nan is likely but could be interesting)
pi don’t have so little faith in nan
also where is nan? i haven’t seen mix’s pretty face in far too long
also koh trying to make a cool exit and immediately falling
i adore meen, not being assertive enough and letting other people in front of him is so relatable
duen it wasn’t bullshit, you miss him~
pi, you were absolutely not being too harsh, it was necessary
they never came back around to the coffee scene, was it actually mork who cleaned it up? i thought that was the implication
is brushing your teeth at school a common thing? or are they just emphasizing it bc he’s a dentistry student
i appreciate mork doesn’t use the secret texting thing to try to get pi to forgive him like he’s done in the past, he really does know that he messed up and is trying to give pi space
also the reveal of mork as the texting friend was nicely done
it’s my sweetheart jan! i’ve missed her since tonhon
also what the fuck is with kluea tho
how did they do the library scene without laughing tho
mork looking back at pi like ‘is it working?’
i love bam already
they are fucking with us with that balloon scene. the guy is ep 4 is not neo, and neo in this ep is wearing the proper uniform (which he wouldn’t do if he’s not a first year but it might be part of his thing with meen) and someone else said that it’s not actually duen it’s jus supposed to look like duen and i’m so confused
next ep: mork seems to be back on his bullshit next ep but let’s hope it’s dialed back a bit, finally nan is back, we are getting closer to pi learning mork is his texting friend (and i really hope it happens next week is isn’t prolonged anymore so we can get through that angst and move on), also sounds like maybe nan is going to talk some sense into mork
so good ep, we’ve covered some things that need to be covered like the shippers, set up some future plots, keep it up futs

damn, phupha’s really been whipped from the start, huh?
awww, tian leaving the sticky notes for the next teacher
i can’t handle this, why are goodbyes so sad
you know what? im usually crazy about child characters very much but i would absolutely die for each of the children
meejoo wanting to be a teacher like tian 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
even khama tearing up at having to say goodbye and the rest of the village crying, how could tian ever leave them???
“this might not be as good as your designer clothes” ofc its not its way better
phupha you told him to leave forever and don’t even have the guts to say goodbye
the way tian’s voice wavers when he says 1 2 3
if his parents could see this group hug they never would’ve made him come back home
the parallel of him crying as he walks away from the villagers as he loses them once again
tian really said this is my jacket now
i called it, last week i predicted tian would finally see torfun’s wish and it would turn out that he had already fulfilled it
tian writing about all the things he doesn’t have to do anymore despite the fact that he is now doing those things
the product placements used to be horny but now they’re just sad

i think i understand tian a bit better bc i feel like last ep i was kind of confused why tian just accepted leaving when there wasn’t anything truly forcing him to do so, but i think it’s bc tian has always had this mindset of following what his parents want so he thinks of that future with his parents as somewhat set in stone even if the path there is flexible, so even though i wish he hadn’t had to leave the village i do think it’s important that he had this period of realizing that he can choose his own future
i like mr winai, he’s cool
the metaphor of the flower being tian, when he’s coddled too much by his parents he withers, but when he really experiences life and faces it he blossoms
also “the place that fits you will make you grow”
it must be so frustrating for tian to have gone through all that, to have finally put his all into something, to have experienced all the ups and downs and then to have everyone reduce that experience to just “a rich kid having some fun pretending to struggle for a little while”
okay but how prestigious a university do you need to go to for teaching tho? like not to reduce the difficulty of teaching or anything but does he really need to go overseas?
what with nam flirting in the eearly episodes, i wish he and the show had treated the wedding more as his wedding than just an excuse for phupha and tian to reunite, like marriage is kind of a big deal

i can’t believe it’s over, y’all, like what a journey, i truly wasn’t expecting the story to be so emotional and dramatic but i really have loved it so much and while i’m glad we’ve finally gotten to the happy ending, i’m so sad to say goodbye. i don’t think fish upon the sky will be quite as good or be so impactful, but nevertheless i’m excited to start that next week and i hope it will be a good addition to frigay and give me something new to be excited about each week

i can't wait till toward the end of the show when we actually see this balloon scene
also it took me almost to the end of part 1 to realize his name was pi and the weren't just calling him phi, was very confused there lol
pi being completely over all the romantic stuff and cursing the couples in his head is such a mood
god tho if anybody did that kind of thing to me it would be over instantly
lol pi comparing himself to a wisdom tooth was so funny!
i love pi's internal monologue, it's great, it's toeing that fine line between funny and annoying but is fortunately staying funny
is that another autistically-coded character i smell for my collection?
i totally understand pi, i would fall in love with mix i mean nan too and im aromantic
now i do love mork and pi as the main couple but nan and pi would be pretty cute too
maybe polyamory?

the redo of the montage but now with mork noticing him each time
i love enemies to lovers where one of them is actually in love with the other

i have heard that nan has his own book with it's own romance but i just want earth to come in at the last ep and cameo as nan's boyfriend

we love parents in a healthy, loving relationship

wow, tbh, i wasn't expecting to get hooked on this show so fast but i absolutely loved this first episode and im very excited to see the story develop. i had fairly high expectations and i must say it exceeded them. i hope we see nan develop a bit more so he's not quite so flat and i'm excited to see my baby pi develop more confidence in himself

A Tale of a Thousand Stars ep 2 thoughts/reaction
Tian’s father was part of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and I know this show is related to environmental conservation efforts so I wonder if his father’s position is ever going to come into play later on in the series, bc I have a feeling Tian’s wealth and him leaving with just a note is going to be some kind of plot point later, like they’re going to find him and try to bring him back
I said it last week but i fucking love the opening, the gentle music and the cute graphics, it’s nice and simple and I love soundtrack in general
I like that all the children had actual introductions, I hope they stay as actual characters bc usually children in BL are just there for a bit as plot devices or almost props (that may be a little harsh but I can’t think of a better way to phrase it), but here they have their own personalities
I need the scene where Tian learns how to braid hair so he can do the girls’ hair
1000 stars is doing this evil thing where they’re making me fall in love with a characters that’s already dead
okay but they really just sent tian out there to be a teacher without any kind of training or lesson plans, really just said ‘figure it out,’ huh?

i see tian checking phupha out and he seems to be aware that’s what he’s doing, so i really hope that means tian is queer and we can skip the whole ‘am i gay?’/’i can’t be in love with him, i’m not gay’ plotline bc its very tired and more and more recent bls haven’t been using this plotline so i’m hopeful but also gmm, off the top of my head, always uses this plotline so we’ll see

I absolutely love tian and phupha’s dynamic bc it’s enemies to lovers but like, soft enemies--they don’t hate each other or anything, it’s really more of a playful dynamic, they like teasing each other, and there’s a bit of competition in that tian feels the need to prove himself
also, do you think some of phupha’s initial dislike of tian is just a result of his feelings of torfun’s death being misdirected towards the person who’s taking her spot?
anyways, tian directly going against serious doctor’s orders over something that might be life threatening just bc phupha provoked him a bit is great
it’s also all the little moments like these that are building up to the reveal of tian’s heart transplant that are going to make that reveal even more emotional, i’m betting they find out when he collapses at some point after pushing himself too hard
so the chief’s son, longtae, is khaotung’s character and i really hope he shows up next ep even tho he wasn’t in the next ep preview
tian teasing phupha about how he set up the net for him then phupha taking it down so tian has to do it, these two are such children
i would like some clear confirmation on whether phupha loved torfun romantically bc i would prefer if he didn’t
the aesthetic of phupha playing the flute and cutting off mid-note when he accidentally pictures tian and then smiling softly to himself
we love yod exposing phupha like that

i don’t think it will happen but it would be cool if tian at some point was forced to reveal his heart condition to the forest ranger doctor (idk his name yet) and he promised to keep it a secret but they formed a friendship over if and the doctor looks out for tian and tries to help prevent people from trying to make tian do things he shouldn’t (also probably save this dumbass from himself bc he did eat food he shouldn’t have bc phupha called him a chicken) this could be used for both emotional and comedic purposes
when do we get the scene where the children call phupha green giant
y’all, i am vibing so hard with this flute music
i think that after this tian will maybe calm down a little and think things through a bit rather than trying so hard to prove something, he’ll start doing things bc he actually wants to make a difference and connect with people and not just out of pride
i’m not a huge fan of flashback montages, especially when they’re in the first few episodes, but this one was done pretty well
phupha totally gay panicked in the face of tian’s confidence at the end there
also more shows need to have these fluffy after credits scenes
god i love these two so much
so, another good episode, please keep it up, i’m excited for next week’s episode

oh poor pi, he was so happy about kissing nan
they went hard last ep to make the scene all romantic with the lighting and the camera work and the speech so seeing how the scene actually went was hilarious
poor mork tho, baby’s so confused
but what happened immediately after?
usually bl fangirls really annoy me but i think these ones don’t bc they’re so over top that they’re clearly poking fun at the shipper stereotype rather than acting as like a weird self-insert
adding brightwin, pluemchimon, and earthmix to the list of self-references
but they way they imagine all the scenerios vs how they actually happened lol
okay but poor phuwin who had to actually put that much toothpaste in his mouth, i couldn’t stop cringing
but how long was nan standing there, watching pi furiously brush his teeth with more and more toothpaste?
y’all, the extent to which i ship nanmorkpi is becoming a problem
i love pi and i need to protect him
i’ve talked about this before, but everyone keeps going on about pi being oblivious to mork’s blatant flirting, but i don’t really think it’s all that blatant? like the flirting itself isn’t really that over the top, and combined with pi’s distrust of people, his nan-vision, and him thinking mork likes nan, it’s really not that unreasonable that he wouldn’t quite pick up on mork’s flirting and only think of it as him acting weird
the shippers are actually pretty funny

also that scene where nan tells mork to go easy on pi totally gave off the vibes that mork and nan are dating and are pursuing pi but maybe that’s just me
that cloud sweater meen is wearing is so cute
oof, were those costumes really necessary?
as soon as they crashed the car i was like ‘that’s gonna be nan’s car isn’t it?’
this scene was very funny, but the second hand embarrassment did kill me several times over
lol pi’s shrill screech about his plan
meen got himself stuck in tree trying to save a kitten (but did he get the kitten?)
but the back in forth between their zoomed in faces
okay but the person in the balloon scene is definitely not mork or nan, so is it just not supposed to be either of them and is some third character we haven’t scene yet, or did they just have a random person stand in during filming but it actually is mork or nan?
i was not expecting a confession this soon, but i think it’s a good thing because mork still has a ways to go to break down pi’s walls and having pi actually fall for him
i also think it’s a good thing for pi to know about mork’s feelings early on because now that he’s forced to see mork in a romantic context, i think he’ll realize his own feelings faster
good ep, not a ton happened, but i think it’ll be more interesting next week so can’t wait

A Tale of Thousand Stars ep 9 thoughts/reaction
so gmmtv really decided to play with us this morning with those subs huh
au where torfun lives and finds a girlfriend who gives her all the love she deserves
they really give us this cute scene with torfun and phupha then come at me with “when i come back from bangkok” and remind me that torfun never comes back
the chaos of the scene where they bring phupha in
poor tian just hovering, wanting to do something, but unable to do anything to help
the tenderness of tian at his bedside and falling asleep next to him
thank you to dr nam for admitting his mistakes and apologizing
“i’m scared of losing everything i have right now” how did phupha hear this and still think tian would be happier elsewhere
tian’s dad keeps trying to use the mom as an excuse and it pisses me off bc like, they can visit?? she can see him whenever she wants, and tian would’ve moved out eventually or did she think tian would live with them forever? and i get that the mom would be concerned about tian living in a remote village but like she could adapt once she saw that tian was happy
like just say you don’t approve of your son being a poor volunteer teacher and go
“if you didn’t have fun, why would you run away from home?” the real answer that tian doesn’t want to say out loud is because he wasn’t happy at home
and tian’s dad just...doesn’t get it, doesn’t get why tian is happier here than he was at home, still thinks this is some kind of rebellion and it’s so frustrating for both of them
tian keeps talking about how he knows he eventually has to go home and i wonder if it’s ever occurred to him that he doesn’t actually have to, that he can choose the village, that he’s an adult and he can choose what to do with the rest of his life
i’m sorry but the matching slings were so distracting for me in this scene
the theme of self forgiveness in this ep is so good bc tian feels so guilty and he feels like he needs to make it up to torfun but it’s not torfun’s forgiveness that he needs it’s his own
especially bc torfun would be happy that at least her heart allowed someone else to live
god this whole scene is just so beautiful, with the sun shining behind them
when phupha said that he was also thinking about tian when he almost died and then cradled tian’s hand
so my predictions last week that the dad was involved in illegal stuff were way off, i genuinely so surprised that it was phupha who had been reporting to him (though in hindsight it does make more sense) but i slapped the table so hard when that happened
but oof, the angst is so real here and i love it
tian feels like his entire life has been lead and shaped by his family’s wealth and privilege and the village is the one thing he was able to do on his own and his relationship with phupha was genuine, then he finds out that this too was bc of his family’s wealth
and at this point i think even tian knows that phupha didn’t do all of that for wealth so he tries to get phupha to just say it, say that he genuinely cares for tian but phupha won’t say it and even confirms it and even if tian doesn’t fully believe him, phupha’s still being mean and saying that on purpose to hurt him and it does hurt
so tian accuses phupha of caring for tian for his own gain and even though that’s what phupha wants him to think it still hurts phupha to know that tian would believe everything he did was fake
and they just lash out at each other out of their own hurt
then phupha accuses tian of just having fun even though they both know that’s not true and it makes tian feel like the one person who understood him doesn’t actually see him
also i think it’s funny that phupha tried to be all mean for the express purpose of scaring tian off so he’d go home but tian, being the little shit he is, just digs his heels in harder
also i truly can not express enough how much i love and appreciate khama, like no wonder longtae is such a good boi when he was raised by khama
ugh, i can see the struggle in phupha’s eyes where he wants to drop the act and comfort tian so badly
poor longtae is so sad to lose his friend
tian is such a good teacher and it makes him so happy, how can anybody think he’d be better off doing something else
dr “despite all evidence to the contrary, i’m a doctor, not a therapist” nam
fuck, these scenes are supposed to be serious but i could not stop laughing every time I saw phupha with that fucking beard
the father’s like “i know my son well” like bitch, no you don’t, otherwise you would realize that tian is happier than he’s been in a long time and he’s not staying in the village as some way to spite you, it’s just that you and your lifestyle don’t make him happy
im sorry i still cant get over the beard
“im okay” that’s not what your hobo beard says
everybody keeps saying tian wouldn’t have listened if phupha asked nicely but did y’all really think asking meanly would work on this boy who stayed in the beginning out of spite toward phupha
they’re finally admitting their feelings so why does it have to be so heartbreaking?
tian wants to stay so badly and he wants phupha to ask him to stay so badly
phupha says tian doesn’t understand (why they can’t be together and why tian has to leave) but it’s really phupha who doesn’t understand
he genuinely thinks that tian was happy in his old life (and honestly why wouldn’t he?) and that tian is only staying in the village to assuage his guilt over torfun before leaving again to resume his old happy life, and that asking tian to stay would be depriving him of that happiness
but the village, teaching, phupha are all his happiness, he’s not giving anything up by staying but he’s giving everything up by leaving
and i think tian doesn’t fully understand that this is how phupha thinks so he doesn’t know how to explain to phupha what it would actually mean to him to stay
i also love how this show isn’t downplaying the other bonds tian has made, he wouldn’t just be staying for phupha, he would be staying for the kids, for the other rangers, for longate and dr nam--the whole village has become his family
tian looked really cute the way he bounced over to khama
god i can’t wait for next ep when tian decided to stay in the village forever and the angst is over and he and the kids get to celebrate and the kids don’t have to deal with the constant cycle of new teachers
longtae is baby and he just wants to keep his friend
tian not being able to count the stars because he can’t stop crying :(
we’re gonna find out what torfun’s wish was next ep and it’ll be something like the kids or the village or phupha being happy and it’ll be sweet as we and the characters realize that tian already carried out her wish without even knowing, no magic necessary
also i love that they used the version of the ost sung by aye (torfun) bc it really set the mood and also her voice is beautiful, i might like it better than the original
“you should do everything for yourself and not for someone else” it’s painful bc if tian really wanted to live his life for himself that would mean staying but phupha only thinks he’s staying bc of torfun
i need fanart of torfun’s ghost hugging tian and saying thank you
but your story doesn’t have to end!!!
we finally get to learn about the ring and it’s literally phupha’s heart and he gives it to tian and still sends tian away?!?
im not crying, you’re crying
tian is doing the lord’s work shaving off that ugly beard
the way his thumb brushes his lip
so, great ep as always, very angsty, both more and in different ways than i expected

i totally understand why pi has a crush on nan
nan is the guy who everyone has a small crush on

we love some good 'ol dumbasses falling in love
pi really has no clue the effect he has on mork throughout the whole episode and it's hilarious
mork being lowkey insulted when pi said no one would want to give him mouth to mouth
poor mork, he's trying so hard
I also like that I can tell that mork genuinely wants to be friends with pi, and not as a ploy to start a relationship but he just wants to be closer to the person he likes and be able to hang out and talk even if it's not in a romantic context
I love the way the duenmeen story is framed as like a side story, it's just very different and fun and allows them to do some fun things with the voice over and breaking the 4th wall
the way i want duen's story to develop is he starts developing feelings and is aware of those feelings and is super upset about it like "yeah i like you, yeah i'm gonna date you, but i'm not gonna be happy about it" (but secretly he is happy about it) (and i mean this in a humorous way, not an angsty way)
i love duen
AJ auditioning as sarawat, in sarawat's clothes, with the 2gether them was hilarious
also the way they give him the makeover like it's a videogame was cool, very different from the traditional makeover montage

i don't think pi will find out his texting friend is mork anytime soon, it's going to be used later on once pi fully trusts mork then pi will feel betrayed and it'll be a full angsty plotline
that next ep preview tho, how am i supposed to stop shipping nanmorkpi when nan is like that?
anyway, good episode, i really really like this series so far and i hope it stays that way, I love both of the couples and look forward to their development, and as much as I loved atots, it's kinda nice to have a cracky series again

Fish Upon the Sky ep 7 thoughts/reaction
i can’t take this first scene seriously with the mix stix and pi being all sentimental about them
also them using the mix stix as a coming out metaphor and pi said his brother ate them first and introduced them to pi and his brother is also gay lol
pi still has mork wrapped around his little finger
well technically he didn’t pass out
drunk pi being great at DDR and mork being terrible is great
“i just wanted to bug you” are you sure you didn’t just want his hand on your chin?
mork don’t act like you don’t love pi having his arms around you
i can’t decide who had the more awkward role, phuwin who had to brush pond’s teeth, or pond who had to have his teeth brushed by phuwin
also who just carries around a toothbrush and toothpaste? i know he’s a dental student but still
mork laughing outside the bathroom at pi was cute
we didn’t get to see mork gay panic at seeing pi’s chest and that’s just not fair
the dad trying to cheer up the mom is so cute, i love their dynamic
soon as they said wan was bring home a girlfriend i was like oh you know it’s going to be a boyfriend
duen what did you do that made the gown smell so much
meen’s got some bite and i love him for it
every episode in fact i love him more and more
he’s truly the perfect match for duen’s bullshit
would love if we could get more backstory on mork liking pi, like even if there’s not a specific reason/event that’s fine but just like when and how did it start, it seems like they never interacted before the show starts
also them being livestreamed was super creepy
also would be nice if mork was a bit more bothered by the fangirls, for pi’s sake if nothing else
i will pay gmmtv for one of the characters to hug pi and tell him that he can take all the time he needs to figure out his feelings instead of rushing him

the argument over the cars was pretty funny, i like the kitty gang
at first i thought the secret texting friend thing was cute but now its a bit uncomfy knowing pi is spiling private thoughts about mork that he wouldn’t tell if he knew he was talking to mork (and mork is using this to be kinda manipulative)
god damn it duen, if you had waited like another minute before barging in he would’ve figured it out
duen is such a good brother tho
i wish mork would actually act like just being friends is fine
the family seeing the woman and child and thinking it’s wan’s girlfriend was super funny lol “and she has a plus one”
and the look on everyone’s faces when the boyfriend walked in
so the mom still doesn’t know about duen’s boyfriend so i hope we can see that confrontation as well lol
i thought they were building up to have wan as like the perfect older sibling who the younger ones resent bc of comparisons and the eldest sibling having a superiority complex, and who was one of the reasons for pi’s insecurities but instead they delivered this wholesome sibling content and it’s so much better than i thought it was going to be
duen unconsciously petting pi bc that’s what he did for meen
i still don’t totally understand the conflict between pi and the mom but i’m glad it seems to be resolved
istg all the medical students and none of them know how vaccines work, the implication is that pi is already lovesick, you don’t give a vaccine to someone who’s already sick
also morkpi is a slowburn and i wish the writers knew that instead of insisting that pi’s already in love with mork
“i’m so lost here” honestly same duen, i’m a little lost in all the metaphors
*face palms* pi, i don’t think you’re in love with mork yet but i know you’re not still in love with nan
but also, pi acknowledging that the nan he liked was part fantasy and now he has to go after the real nan: growth--not quite fully there yet but growth
next ep: looks like duenmeen is finally going somewhere, i really hope but doubt that mork as secret texting friend is revealed next week before it gets worse, otherwise doesn’t seem like anything huge happening next week,but i demand more nan content to make up for the fact that he wasn’t in this ep at all
anyways, good ep, some key development going on, just really need mork to back off a bit and give pi some time to think

A Tale of a Thousand Stars ep 7 thoughts/reactions
so, the whole tian killed torfun thing, here’s my thoughts: I don’t think tian was the one driving the car because the show has refused to actually say it straight up despite implying it multiple times, so they prob just want us to think that, it was prob his friends driving the car or something, but tian is still involved and somewhat responsible for what happened bc he set up the race which is why he feels so guilty
on tian’s guilt, i think it’s a complicated issue and i think he’s not free of blame in the situation but I do think he is taking too much blame if he wasn’t behind the wheel, and, not to put the blame on torfun exactly, but she did walk out onto a busy street at night, you know, it wasn’t like they swerved up onto the sidewalk and hit her
how many more times is phupha gonna have to watch over tian while he’s unconscious
also not a huge fan of detective nam this ep, while i do think he deserves some answers, i do not think he should’ve gone behind tian’s back like that to get them, he should’ve confronted tian directly
love to see phupha in the casual camo
poor tian, he’s just really got it so rough this episode and he’s already got self-esteem issues then more incidents keep piling on which seem to confirm the negative thoughts that he already has
and it’s difficult bc when tian says the bad stuff wouldn’t’ve happened if he hadn’t been there, like, it’s true, which really makes the situation more complex but i like that there isn’t necessarily an easy fix and that this can’t all be solved with the power of friendship, you know?
i really hope there’s a focus on tian’s mental state and that he doesn’t just magically get better when all the problems are solved and once everyone forgives him because it’s not that easy and I want to see the actual process of healing
not me every episode getting distracted from the dialogue trying to figure out the shapes on phupha’s cameo, i just noticed this ep that some of the brown spots are deer
phupha’s hurt puppy dog face when tian returned the shirt
tian’s hurt face when phupha says he’s not going to try to convince him to stay, like he was so hurt at that moment when he thought phupha wouldn’t even try to fight for him
“don’t you miss your home?” not really, my dude
“then you stay here...indefinitely. Can you?” phupha subtly trying to gauge whether tian would be willing to stay in the village with him if they were to start a relationship
that cute scene where phupha tries to hide the tea sachet
the gay panic is strong this ep
“who said i would offer you the bed?” *offers him the bed*
the gay panic continues, phupha really knows exactly what he’s doing
is it just me or has tian just looked so small this ep?
also, tian is in a tan forest ranger shirt which means he borrowed a second shirt
the only reason phupha keeps implying tian is taking the role of his wife is because tian reacts so cutely to it
im sorry but do these kids not know how to brush their teeth? and is he showing them how on an onion?
when did tian learn cook after nearly burning his house down?
please enough with the torfun comparisons, i know they’re just adding them to shake up tian and for the angst, i don’t think they’d actually go the route of torfun’s spirit being part of tian, but like, p’aof, please just leave tian alone he feels shitty enough as is
also excuse me, dr nam, are you, a medical professional, really trying to imply that torfun’s spirit might be in some way affecting tian bc he has her heart??
tian’s doing that thing again where he complains with a smile but he’s not really complaining
i really want tul to meet longtae and then just watch the chaos they and tian create together
phupha risking quite a lot to get rid of sakda so the village is safe enough for tian to stay
super not into the scene where nam, rong, and yod are flirting with girls even tho they are all implied to have partners - like i get that the point was to emphasize that phupha’s in love with tian but the scene still could’ve done that without the three of them flirting, the girls could’ve just flirted with phupha
istg when phupha said he started thinking about something impossible i 100% thought he was referring him feeling like a relationship with tian was an impossibility and then tian would say something ambiguous that clearly implied that it wasn’t impossible and it would be all cute then he opens his mouth and says tian is like torfun and i wanted to smack him
is it really necessary to add in this tian/torfun comparison plotline? is there not already enough angst????
like the scene still could’ve been super romantic but still angsty bc tian would turn away from the kiss bc he feels like he can’t start something while he’s still keeping secrets
(which i know would just add to phupha’s insecurities but tian’s already got enough on his plate)
however, the way the music hits a discordant note then fades as soon as he says it and the way tian’s smile immediately drops, just like the instant atmospheric mood change was really well done
the whole scene was just really well acted on both sides
“are you going to confess your love to me?” just the way phupha prob meant to say this jokingly but it came out more seriously than intended
also as much as i want them to kiss, i am glad they didn’t during this scene, tian needs to tell the truth before anything can happen (not that i really thought they would kiss during this scene anyway
the way the village came together to rebuild the school hurts bc of what’s going to happen next ep
And the children are just so cute, istg if anything happens to them
if nam is actually telling phupha what he found out im gonna be so pissed at him for taking that away from tian, it really needs to be tian who comes clean about it, especially because he was planning on it, he wasn’t trying to keep it secret forever
what really makes this whole situation worse is that not only does tian have to tell them about torfun’s heart and his role in the accident, but he has to tell them about torfun’s death, which should not have to be his responsibility. The forest rangers should’ve told everyone a while ago, and it’s not tian’s fault that they don’t know. So all the villagers are now going to associate tian with her death simply because he’s the one delivering the news. If they had already known and had time to process before tian got there, i think it would be very easy for them to still accept him when he told them about how he had her heart and he was just trying to carry on her wishes, but now all the feelings they have about torfun’s death (which apparently happened months ago) are going to be directed at tian
phupha please stop your flirting, you’re going to give tian heart failure again
still a good ep even tho the angst was pretty heavy, I’m glad the reveal will finally happen next ep so we can get that out of the way and finally move on, can’t wait for next friday even tho it’ll prob just be even more angst

A Tale of a Thousand Stars ep 6 thoughts/reaction
the juxtaposition of the kites vs the cars, and what really makes the kites more fun is that its’ group activity whereas he’s alone with the cars
god, phupha is so fucking in love, i love how explicitly clear their affection for each other made even if they have a hard time saying out loud
i wanted nam to scold tian a bit more but im also glad that the scene was pretty soft bc i feel like tian would prob respond better to gentleness and if the dr had been really harsh that would’ve just made tian feel worse
but i love the conflict in this scene bc he knows dr nam is prob right but he can’t express the entirety of why he needs to be there and why he can’t return to his old life
phupha sensing that tian doesn’t really want to talk about what happened and not pressuring him with questions even tho he clearly wants to ask
the way tian’s voice cracks a bit when he’s talking about torfun
poor longtae tho finding out the news in that way
i’ve been waiting since ep 1 for the scene of tian braiding the girls’ hair
kinda torn bc i love the character growth of tian realizing that his actions have consequences that he cant solve with his dad’s money but at the same time it’s very frustrating to watch
not phupha being jealous over tul
poor tul must be so confused
phupha not being able to hide his smile when he smells tian’s hand
“it smells nice” the sachet or his hand
i am living for the longtae x tian friendship
tian lowkey trying to flirt his way into selling the sachets, then using longtae to flirt his way into selling the sachets
okay but the parallel between the kids asking about torfun when tian first got there to the kids asking about tian when he’s gone
character A asking children what character B thinks about them is such a high quality trope
also the kids asking phupha to ask tian to stay is so pure, also them lowkey threatening phupha so that he wont scare tian away
also how much does tian gush complain about phupha to the children lol
hey what is the ring that phupha wears on a necklace?

tian “he’s a hot guy you know,” referring to how popular longtae was with the shopkeepers and phupha misunderstanding
i also really liked the jealousy for longtae this ep bc it wasn’t necessarily targeted at longtae (like it wasn’t personal) it was more the fact that it played into phupha’s existing insecurities that tian would be better suited with someone his own age that he connects with, plus longtae goes to college in the city and can relate more to tian in that sense
cant tell if tian is actually that dense and didn’t realize phupha meant himself when he said he wasnt alone or if he was just teasing phupha
i love how much screentime the children had this episode, they’re so precious
lol tian realizing that tourists would go nuts for bags with names of poor children who made them
im so proud of tian for coming up with this idea and helping the villagers
phupha’s cute little thumbs up
phupha’s smirk when tian turns around, he’s so proud of himself for his little joke
someone needs to make a crack video using that audio that’s like “a love story told entirely in stares...and more stares...and even more stares”
god tho, just they way they stare at each other and start smiling then start laughing, it’s so sweet and intimate
tian and longtae: *discussing serious things like torfun*
phupha: really? flirting? right in front of my salad?
phupha is one of those rare well written tsundere characters
phupha getting excited about another date with tian then disappointed when tian isn’t coming with him
phupha is such a child and i love him
sakda need to leave tian tf alone
we love some product placement (but i will give them a pass bc it was pretty cute)
i am also living for phupha x nam friendship, that whole interaction where phupha is trying to stop nam from embarrassing him but trying to do it discretely so no one sees
kinda random but i enjoy the little details like the signs on all the boxes with the sachets were written by different people bc there’s several different handwritings
the fucking fondness in tian’s gaze literally every time he looks at phupha this ep
tian is literally telling you to tell him your feelings phupha, please just end all our suffering
also the way phupha subtly alludes to some of his insecurities and tian shuts it down saying he likes the way phupha is
phupha, are you really the same person who blatantly smelled tian’s hand then gave him that hand massage earlier?
okay but the way tian gets so hopeful when phupha asks him to stay and he keeps trying to get phupha to say he wants him to stay
yod, i love you so much, but i really want to strangle you right now
but that scene really was so good, earth and mix did a really good job bc they conveyed so much without words
but damn i really did think they were gonna get somewhere this ep (but no worries bc they’re going somewhere next ep)
“they will know that your heart has come back to them” is such a poetic line and i really do like the meaning behind it, i just wish tian didn’t mean it in such a self-deprecating way
not me crying at the way phupha cuddles the fucking tea sachet
tian, don’t run into the fucking burning building! think about your heart! think about my heart!
but poor tian bc this building is really his new home as much as his hut is and to see it being burned down
but damn this is really the third time he’s collapsed in phupha’s arms
at least they include a cute fluffy scene at the end of each ep to make up for the angsty cliffhangers
where do i even start with the preview for next week
i really hope they kiss but im worried tian will ruin the mood by bringing up torfun (but also i hope he does finally talk about torfun and get it out there already)
i really can’t wait for next week
anyways, this was such a good ep (like always), quality character development, quality phutian moments, we’re really starting to get into the conflict now
