Alors si ce sont des choix de chansons que je pense simple à jouer, il peut y avoir une autre difficulté qui est celle du rythme. About “Knockin’ On Heavens Door” by Bob Dylan: Originally, Bob Dylan was hired to just write the title song for Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. However, he was recruited by Kris Kristofferson to write the score of the movie and also play the role of "Alias". This was a decision that didn’t go well with the film director’s usual composer Jerry Fielding, who felt offended that someone who had never created a film score before was brought in to do this. He was unhappy with being relegated to a minor role in the scoring process. While the filming of this movie had begun, Dylan was working side by side on the soundtrack and one of the songs he started writing was “Knockin’ On Heavens Door”. The first two lines of the song “Mama take this badge from me, I can't use it anymore” just randomly occurred to the singer as these were the words occurred by Sheriff Colin Baker as he was injured by Billy The Kids Gang in the movie. While the rest of the song focuses on making references to what’s going on in the movie, there is a small section where Dylan goes above and beyond by sending a message of peace to America who were traumatized by the Vietnam War and the Watergate scandal. The context to this was that the main character is now being perceived to be on his deathbed and he is now questioning the value of his actions and begins to reject any glory it comes from it.
