She made her way on over to the machine, staring up at it in pure confusion. It took a moment to process what exactly it was that he was saying before she felt herself deflate. "A... A new Mew Mew?"

She felt herself remain silent for a moment, staring at the buttons on the machine before suddenly snapping her attention back over towards him. "What do you mean a new Mew Mew?! Aren't we done with all of this, why is there more of them?!" How were they affected? What was going to happen when they got found? There were so many questions and concerns, and honestly, she felt half-ready to strangle him at that moment.

"Maybe. . ." She muttered, in thought about that action before shaking her head. "But there's also the chance we get tired, too. Who knows how long they can go." They were stuck in a stalemate, and she was scared to actually try to take the being before them down herself. If she did that, and something bad happened to the person. . . She'd never be able to forgive herself.

She was also coming up with no ideas to be able to better this situation. And this area was becoming dangerous for regular people, too. "Just make sure they can't run off, for now!" She was hoping Ryou might have an idea of his own, once he was in a safe spot to be able to think. If he tells them to do it, she'd feel right by his judgement.

The moment she heard that was the moment she was concerned. She may be useful to the team, but most of the other members, especially Ichigo, were better than her in most aspects. She couldn’t control herself when she was angry, and usually caused more trouble than it felt like it was worth. It wasn’t a sudden call, and she had been practicing on a regular basis, but why was the idea of her being here suddenly so. . .

“Of. . . Of course.” She felt herself respond quietly. Was she in trouble of some sort?. . . Was her working at the cafe been an underperformance as of late? . . . “Why was it that you needed to speak with me?”

"That would probably depend on how much longer we're talking, here." She admitted, a nervous chuckle emitting from her. It was already pretty late, and she had a curfew to be back home by. Her father would be sure to chew her out...

"If I got a ride home, I could probably stick around for another twenty minutes. Would that be enough?" She knew he just wanted to spend more time with her, but it was the best compromise she could come up with off the top of her head.

She hadn't expected a response like that, she had to admit. She knew he lied to her all the time, especially about his mental state and health. It was always worrying her and it made her wonder if he had less time than she might think sometimes. But to be told about it like that... It was a bit confusing.

"Please be more truthful to me from now on. This shouldn't all just have to fall onto you. I'm older now and have a better handle on responsibility..." She was hoping he'd rely on her a bit more, honestly... "The last thing we need is anything bad happening to you, you know?..."

"Mom and Dad aren't gonna be too happy about this..." But she knew full well that given everything, it was the best option to go about all of this. She didn't expect to be followed, especially since there wasn't much to her or much reason for anyone to do so. "I'll message them and let them know."

Dad will interrogate her tomorrow, but she was used to that at this point.

"Are you sure it'll be alright? I didn't even notice them and I'm pretty good at that kind of thing now." She was oblivious to things sometimes, but she's become hyper-aware of people nearby. Thanks to Kisshu, mostly...

She had been rushing to try and get as much work done as she could before she left. Everyone else was gone outside of her and the boys, and she had been helping Keiichiro with closing whenever she was there till then anyway. She didn't mind it too much, and it made it much faster for him.

Ichigo had been working on putting the chairs up onto the tables so that the floor could be swept up. She didn't even notice one of the chairs she set wasn't quite in place. She was mindlessly trying to move to the next one when she felt her hips get grabbed and tugged.

"E-eh?!" She felt herself whine, but then she noticed the chair falling and landing on its side. She knew her foot was likely gonna get smashed had that actually landed where her leg had it...

She let out a quiet breath of relief, looking to see who it was and--

She could feel herself instantly turning red.

"O-oh, um... Ryou, I didn't-" She wished she could die now since she noticed the angle he had pulled her toward. This was how things start, she knew that-- "T-thank you for that."

Why was she not surprised in the slightest?. . . He seemed extremely privileged, from what she understood. So this. . . Was not too odd to hear. The ignorance of the reality of humanity was unfortunate, but she figured she'd run into a few people like that before she eventually died. "I . . . See."

What was she going to do with this guy?

But the news of him wanting to look into space was a tad surprising, but a cheeky thought went into her mind moreso than anything. "I'm surprised you didn't invite the blondey to join ya'., given how she goes off at the mention of anything like that. Or is it a private moment that you wanted to keep to yourself?"

"Hehe, thank you, Ryou~" Ichigo found herself rather pleased by the compliment, especially since she had taken way too long trying to figure out what to wear for the day. After all, one never knew when trouble would start, but she still wanted to look nice for a day out with Ryou. It was always nice to be able to go out and do things with him on her days off.

"What's the plan for today? I don't think you ever told me, so I did my best to be careful to not wear something that would make it harder for us to do anything you might've wanted to do."

"To be honest... I don't really know why I can do that, either." She never found herself to be much of anything special. Just a normal girl who was living the school life until all of the Mew Mew stuff started. That, obviously, wasn't normal, but personality-wise, she never saw herself as anything overly special of a case.

It confused her sometimes, but she didn't question it.

"But I'm glad I can. It lets me know that I mean something. I know given my role and everything, I do, but..." She means it in a different way...

"Ah, Shirogane..." She found herself a tad surprised to see the other, especially in a place like this. Dianne had one of her shows today and knew better than to not attend. And so, the blonde had done so and found herself awaiting the results of the show. After all, she played in two different portions this time, so it was likely to take some time. And so, she found herself with the window to her room open, taking in some the night fresh air.

"Perhaps a tad, yes... But I did not quite expect to see you here, of all places." As far as she was aware, the cafe was still open...

"But I feel as if it is not if you want me to be honest." He wanted some time to himself to do what he wanted to do, and they didn't know how to handle a stressful situation. "It is moreso on us for not being able to handle it. Being able to handle stress is something all us girls should be able to do, especially if we want to be able to have ahold of the quickly approaching adulthood." No matter what, she knew he was going to blame himself, but... She was tasked with getting him to go back and rest, so-

"I thought so." She found herself quietly chuckling at the confirmation. Ichigo knew for sure that it was either this one or another similar dish that he preferred. She had to ask Keiichuro for advice, given how Ryou didn't outright state things like this, but she was trying... Really, really trying.

"You seemed like you had a hard day today, so I thought you'd like some."

"I understand that, but..." This would've been something she wanted to have confirmed for a good while now. It meant that even though they believed their job to be done, there was always that chance of this happening once again. "You need to be truthful about this kind of stuff to us. While not everyone may wanna be here for this, we need to know what the future holds for us, and things we need to look out for."

"Yes, you definitely have." She commented back, moreso as a bit of praise from one to another. He'd been getting better ever since she took the reigns and forced him to have no choice but to come to her. There had even been one or two times he chose to come to her about something now!

"You're getting better about not keeping everything to yourself, either. If there will be a new member and the chance of a new problem arising, then it's the least that needs to be worked on so that everyone can work together!"

"I know that I just-" She was hoping it was just her. But some of the other females that have been coming into the shop... They smelled in a way that was like the Mew Mews. She had been hoping it had just been her, but she couldn't shake it no matter how much she wanted to. "It's just me overthinking, you know how I am. It's nothing serious, I'm sure."

Given how he's been acting lately if he found out the machine acted up on more than one girl, then he'd feel overly guilty about it... She didn't want him to find out about it, even if it was the truth-
