So many different things began to rush into her mind at once that it was difficult to keep a mental note of.
Would Ei be against settling down with Neka? … no, not at all. Though, it would take a lot to get her to admit that. While she did not think that she would be … able to satisfy him as a partner, she had read her share of romance novels since her day out with the traveller. The notion that two men may fight for one damsel or do big, extravagant things to impress someone they loved … Ei was pretty certain she would be able to do that much for him. She did heavily doubt that anything between them would spark that way due to his … distaste toward her, anyway. Yet she could not stop her brain from wondering.

The way he stared into her eyes had captivated her. She had almost lost her soul to those eyes. Beautiful, bright and .. hypnotic. In a way, it wasn't too different at all from the penultimate curse many gods find themselves wired too. It's thanks to the history of Orobashi, to the unique circumstances surroundings Rex Lapis that the samurai was able to wire together his own brands of conjecture. Truly having a moment to see the world familiarized his refining perception.

She figured that once he was back to his old self, he would probably find someone and have children. Having a family was not something an Archon ever thought of or dreamed of. They must run an entire nation … not many had time for romantic interests. Of course, to those such as mortals who were not aware of anything that went on behind the scenes, Archons were fully capable of having intense romantic relations. Though, they simply chose not to for different reasons. She had come to learn that … the harder way.

Of course, there was no threat and the news Ei’s people would receive would be that she was safe and took care of the problem. It was noisy, so loud out there where the guards had deep, booming voices which were used to yell at one another to see if their part of the area was indeed secure … that it almost tempted the Archon to listen in. Night was then upon them, the sun now setting beautifully behind the houses and mountains of land throughout Inazuma. What gorgeous scenery to accommodate a beautiful end to a day.
