RC Studios to invest Rs 400 crores on 5 Pan-India films, Kabzaa 2 leads the charge
Joining hands with Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origin Company (Singapore) and Seekal Ramachandra Gowda, RC Studios is set to embark on a journey of diverse storytelling, catering to audiences across India and beyond. The five films announced are P.O.K, Father, Sri RamabanaCharita, Dog and Kabzaa 2: War Begins.
R Chandru will be directing two of the five films himself, including Kabzaa 2. He will also serve as producer for the remaining three projects, ensuring his creative guidance and expertise throughout the filmmaking process.
Speaking of Kabzaa, it was a period action film starring Upendra, Shiva Rajkumar, Kiccha Sudeepa and Shriya Saran, among others. The film did not perform well at the box office.

Kichcha Sudeepa explains failing Bollywood movies to be like out-of-form Virat Kohli
Kichcha Sudeepa who got caught up in controversy recently regarding Hindi vs South films has opened up about the failing films in Bollywood. The actor is all set for the release of the multi-lingual Vikrant Rona, and when asked about South movies dominating the Bollywood release, he had his say. He shared the stage with superstar Salman Khan and actress Jacqueline Fernandez.
Salman Kahn stole the limelight of the show with his star entry at the recent Vikrant Rona event. He interacted with the media as well and extended his support to his Dabangg 3 co-star whose film Vikrant Rona in Hindi dubbing would be distributed under his banner Salman Khan Films.
During the event, when Kichcha Sudeepa was asked about the comparison between south and Bollywood films, the actor answered with an example of cricket. He said, “Not that every film is doing great. Couple of films do well, couple of films don’t. That doesn’t mean we generalize and say it’s dominating. There are good times for everything and if the Hindi film industry has not been doing great and if it does not have great people, how would you sustain for so many years? It is there. It is just a matter of how Virat Kohli is when he is out of form for a while."
Adding further, the actor said, "Films by the end of the day should work - that’s all-good happening. There also if you count, there are a lot of films which aren’t working. If you take Hollywood again, there are about 10-15 releases which releases here every year. They make about 200 films out there, so what happens to the rest 185? It doesn’t work that way! I don’t think we should be generalizing. Every industry is standing by its own potential."
