Something that The Stranger described quite well from his own perspective. That knot in his chest that he takes too long to accept, before he decides to add:

“Alright. But even if a SOM and REM fusion could aid with taming the need of nightmares, a human presence and psyche is still necessary. Am I correct?”

His sight is directed at the two successors next.

“First of all, I would like to know...Ichi, Miss Marsh, are you both still up for being in charge of the dreamscape?”

It seemed like Pepper was losing a bit of faith there herself. 

“No offense, but if Eunsang was incompetent, then are you sure either of you could manage handling the energy of this place on your own? Maybe you two could merge your ideals as well, somehow. Trust me when I say a business this big would be a lot on your plate. There's times where I wish I could trust someone else with my small bar's management, haha.”

Of course he'd turn this into a consumerist analogy. He waves dismissively once.
