Finally got my camera mod working again so here's some random screenshots from the act 1 astarion scene, though I have this as not happening for Majexatli's canon with them having a weird ass relationship and only hooking up in act 3, but since I installed the poly mod I was tempted to allow myself to explore everyone's romance.

Mainly though I just like looking at Majexatli (and their scars), and the way their bicep looks nearly the size of Astarion's thigh.

I'm probably gonna tweak their scars a bit more but hey they don't look too bad in my hasty conversion.

bg3 redeemed dark urge exclusive dlc where instead of a boss fight durge carries on a heist to lobotomised and tadpole orin and gortash and everyone has to go along with it because technically it worked once

#antiqua plays bg3 #wyll and karlach object for fives seconds and then durge just gives them the biggest puppies eyes #gale was on board from the second durge said 'imagine if our evil inventor was good'#'what if they are still low key evil tho' 'we keep around astarion and minthara it's gonna be fine #ketheric sadly cannot be redeemed and tadpoled because durge only finds out in act 3 #durge and orin get a very touching scene where they both turn against bhaal #gortash gets the funniest boss fight ever against whoever was next in the church of bane and was NOT ready for this #astarion at some points gets very annoyed that he is losing his 'evil but we fixed it' companion spot #the ending is durge orin and gortash doing the magical girl netheres stone power to destroy the brain

So far in the lore of this playthrough, Astarion's made two grand gestures of affection toward Mae, which are 1. breaking into the Baldur's Mouth building and stopping the newspaper from slandering her, and 2. robbing an entire bank because she's been complaining about being broke all the time.

#roddy plays bg3 #roddy plays bg3: mae #we had the key for one of the vaults from the fireworks shop (where we killed everyone and then took the profits of the shop)#so i sent astarion in to get that. and then i was like yeah sure. why not have him take everything else too #my headcanon/playthrough lore is that he made both of these decisions on his own.#the best gift he can get for her is crime. which is fine. she does a lot of crimes too.

I don't typically like to send him off skulking alone, but I'm afraid there is literally no funnier outcome to this quest than to have a sentient printing press yell "YOU'RE NOT EVEN THAT HOT, DUMBASS!" at Astarion specifically.

What'd my boy even do to deserve this treatment

..... besides the Atrocities.

But, he only snuck down there to sabotage the free press for entirely selfish reasons!! And it's already been sabotaged before, so it's technically counter-sabotage, which is, like, practically a good deed, is it not???

(no worries, his sort-of-gf did greet him on the surface with a "you glorious scoundrel, you, you magnificent panther of a man! ❤️" and a big ol' kiss on his sneaky lil face.)

saw that Cleric was the least played class so I decided to play it for my Honor mode run and it's the most fun I've ever had in this game so far

with the right build not only can you can hit like a truck and lock down an area, you can also debuff / damage enemies regardless if they hit or miss you

don't touch the cleric challenge

Hello I am alive. I haven't really drawn much since August due to BG3 brainrot (and this month I've been learning how to mod the game) but this morning my brain decided I wasn't allowed to look at computer screens so I did a little sketch of Shel. She was originally supposed to be like a miniboss for a friend's campaign but it never happened so I ended up making her in BG3.

As Much as I Love Gloomstalker/Assassin/Champion Astarion...

This honor mode run has turned me to a new religion, the belief that Monk-starion is in fact the way, the truth, and the life, Amen.

The Raphael fight wasn't so much a fight as much as it was Astarion stunning his ass every single round and beating the ever living shit out of him while the rest of the crew played Cambion Clean Up. What legendary actions? Never saw a single one. I was fully planning on my Durge Bard/Paladin to keep hold monstering him every turn but I ended up being able to use those spell slots for thunder smites instead!

Open Hand Monk 8/Thief 4 for anyone who would like to also convert. I took ASI Dex, Tavern Brawler, and Alert for my feats. I'll post a more detailed breakdown and my strategy with him later but just...damn.
