Godfather Legend
I feel like we're all sleeping on the fact that Legend has, essentially, a god-son, whom he takes financial responsibility for and actively helped to raise. Like, hello? Can you imagine if the heroes are just walking along one day and Legend's just like "yes, we're stopping up ahead because I need to check in on someone" and this freaking kid runs out of the house ahead of them ,all excited to see him again and Legend just explains it as "oh yeah, I'm his god-father" like, sir? You are yourself a child, where did that come from?
But yeah, Bippin and Blossom's kid lives rent free in my head and I need the others to discover his existence, for reasons.

Consider: Wild can't find one of the others so he uses his sheikah sensor to track one of the items only they carry. There's a picture in his slate of Legend, yeah? Just track that weird bracelet the vet wears! Twi's missing? Okay, let's look for a shadow crystal! Time disappeared in the middle of the lost woods? Well, lucky thing he's the only one with an Ocarina of Time!

Wild cannot do a forward roll. He can't. He can do so many other tricks, but rolling always just messes up his neck (he slipped a disk last time he tried)
All the others, even Time, do not have this issue. they have no clue what's wrong with him.

I just saw a post asking which Link would make the best villain and....
It's Time guys
Like, I love the man, but let's be real; he's a second from snapping and committing atrocities.
Twilight is so thoroughly traumatized by the vision the spirits gave him and Fi's judgement of him that he literally can't stand messing with magic that isn't actually his own or connected to him. And while, sure, he doesn't need magic to be a villain, let's be real, it'd take something magical to force him to turn his back on everything he's ever fought for.
Similarly, Wild fought and died for his kingdom, and his people. There is nothing and no one worse than what he's already seen that could possibly make him turn his back on it all and throw his work down the drain just to destroy everything he'd built himself.
Legend is the same. he's been doing this far too long to ditch now. Granted, he's a grump, but if you look at his games, you see he's a highly empathetic and caring person. Unlike the others, who were tasked with saving the world by a mentor or friend, or had to go and save a friend or family member, or who where sworn to duty; Legend was literally some kid who was asked by an utter stranger to help, and did. Six times. No way someone like that is going to go and destroy everything.
And Wind! Wind is a moral guy, with a good heart. he set out for personal reasons and saw in his journey that there were bigger fish to fry, and he fried them. He had no reason to take it on, no call of the goddess, no responsibility, no reason for him, a child, to go and save the world as well as his sister, but he did it anyway.
Sky and Warriors are simply too devout. Warriors to the kingdom and it's people; with everything he suffered for them, you can't tell me the man isn't dedicated to serving his country. And Sky is loyal to Sun, who is Hylia, so he literally would never go against her. And by the law of the Zelda universe, villains are those who go against Hylia and Hyrule.
Four is an iffy one. Most people might say "but Vio was a villain!" but let's be real; if you read the manga, you know Vio was bluffing all along. If Vio, part of Four, didn't bow even under Shadow's influence, and Vaati's, and Ganon's, then again; who and what would drive this man to become a villain? Granted, the persuing of dark magic to bring back his lost friend could be argued, but is more likely to lead to his corruption than his attempting to take over Hyrule and kill innocents.
Hyrule is tough, since we have very little to work off of in cannon, but come on, even if Hyrule did turn to evil, he wouldn't exactly be able to do much. Hyrule's already in ruins in his time, and the monsters wouldn't hear of working beside him. He'd have everyone against him, and even if he does hold the triforce in it's entirety and thus could do all sorts of horrible things, he has neither motivation nor reason to turn away to becoming a villain.
Time though......
Time has watched the world burn and all his efforts be turned around and lost. He has lost everything so many times, usually with no reward or reason. In the end, Time, though a good man, cares more for the individual than the country. He cares about his wife and his boys, and based off the scars, we can only guess what lengths he's already gone to in order to accomplish his goals.
Time, if faced with the right issue, has every risk of dropping from defender to threat. Hyrule be damned, this man cares for his wife, his kids, his home, and if you threaten that, no matter who you are, he will go after you. He's one second away from going after Hylia and all she has done to him and those around him. He detests the Blade of Evil's bane, the symbol of Hylia's blessing. He borders every moment on the precipice of taking power beyond mortals to fulfill his own wishes, even if it is to help those he loves.
Put Malon in danger, heck, one of the boys, and Time won't let something silly like morals stop him from doing whatever it takes to protect what little that is still his and hasn't already been taken from him. He will fight tooth and nail not to lose anything else, and he won't let even the goddesses stop him.l

I know that in universe, Dawn and Aurora meeting was probably just a bit awkward, but the idea of Hyrule bringing Aurora home after the second adventure and both girls having to be slowly acclimated to each other like feral cats is utterly hilarious.
Like, I know we all like to say Legend's bitter from his adventures/what he's suffered through, but by that same logic, the Downfall Princesses would probably also be wary, guarded, somewhat untrusting people to those they've never met before (other than their hero). People with strong magic totally ring alarm bells to them, and since both Aurora and Dawn have Very Strong magic (Hylia's magic) they just set each others' 'danger alarms' off when they first meet.
Hyrule acting as a go-between, touched with both girls' magic, is hilarious on a surface level (but also sort of sad) to think about. Just him slowly getting them accustomed to the magical signature of the other, as well as the idea that he is friendly/feels safe with both, until they're willing to stand in the same room as each other and not be expecting the worst or something.
Like, Hyrule can be the feral little fairy, but what if his princesses are equally feral?

If Ravio's bracelet allows the user to become a painting on flat surfaces, does that mean that Legend could feasibly turn himself into a painting mid battle by becoming the painting o an enemy's shield, as long as it is big enough for him to fit?

If one pitted Legend and Warriors against each other in chess, what would follow would be a very sad game to watch. Like, painfully pathetic. Like, end their misery, they are begging you.
Warriors may be a war general, but men in wars do not move like this? They move together? They do not take a step and wait for the enemy to move? How is this a game of battles? This is illogical in so many ways?
Meanwhule Legend knows how chess works, but this man had never planned ahead for his adventures. He was told to get the item, fight the monster, talk to the person, ect. Planning was never part of the equation. He goes and he goes and he's gone. Trying to manipulate another person while simultaniously arranging so many little pieces as the same time? Not being directly able to just do things?
Hylia help them, they spend half the game just staring at the pieces.
No one wins in the end. One or anotehr of them just ends up swiping the pieces off.knocking against them, and the other just takes it as an opportunity to end the game.
Competitive they may be, but chess is a monster they will not attempt to face, together or seperate.
Four, meanwhile, will kick butt. Do not play against Four. Four will beat you over and over again, and no he will not explain how to play, You either learn by watching him, or you die in shame.

I have decided I need Four to call Twilight "big guy" in an affectionate way. Like, all the time. Twilight is Pup, Rancher and farm-boy, but to Four he is "big guy", especially as Wolfie.
Four is also one of the few who isn't a "pretty princess" who is allowed to pet Wolfie. For reasons.

The Chain and Magic
Your magic reflects you more than your body.
Wild's magic screams Death to most people. Unnatural, Broken, Wrong. This thing should not be here. This is a thing, his magic doesn't label him as Hylian anymore, he's not exactly Hylian anymore anyways, so why would it? Instead, magic users see a hylian but their magic will scream at them that that Thing is dressed as a hylian but it is Something Else piloting a hylian.
Four's magic also says Broken. Shattered, pieces, not quite right. He's confusing because he's in pieces, but the pieces don't fit together anymore. They look like they could, but once you look closer you realize that they're just slightly Off and while you could force the pieces together, it still wouldn't Fix him
Twilight's says Darkness. Warmth and love and darkness. His magic feels like a person holding you while you sleep. It's got a dangerous side to it, but not scary. Like, yes, he is a big doggy, he will watch over you but yes, he will bite if you pull his tail, so just don't pull his tail, okay?
Sky's is terrifying. He's pretty and he's sweet, but magic users take one look at him and wonder why a god is standing in front of them and if he's going to smite them? His magic says Strength, Courage, Protection. Once you know what he's protecting, you avoid that thing like the plague lest you upset him
Time's magic is Twisted. His is Wrong in ways that make magic users flinch. He's not like Wild, where his magic says "I shouldn't be here" or Four who says "I'm not all myself, I'm many of myself" Time's magic screams "I am more than myself but I cannot tell where I end and where the foreign begins". To magic users, Time is like a human centipede, or Frankenstein; there is just pieces of him and other Things all sewn together by magic in a mess that Should Not Be. It's kinda gross, for magic users, to be around him honestly
Hyrule's magic is strangely tame in comparison. He's fae, he has fae magic. Yes, the Triforce adds some weird crap, but he's just like, super powerful Fae. He is like a troublesome child someone dared to let drive a car; he has resources to end the world, and while he's not inherently bad, you're not sure if you can trust him not to do it "for fun". Like yes, Hyrule is responsible, but that fae part of him is always screaming for trouble.
Warriors' magic is Dangerous. Unlike Sky who is Blatantly Can Kill You, Wars' magic feels like a sleeping dragon. It's not going to hurt you. Yet. It's strong, but it isn't doing anything right now. Get him on the battlefield though and he is Dominating, Magic is surging and threatening and screaming. He has two settings, sleeping and Kill You and there's nothing in between.
Wind's magic is the quietest. His magic is soft, a whisper. It's not because he's weak by any means, but more because his magic is soft and natural and it's just... the wind. The waves. Granted, it can get violent, but unlike the others, Wind has excellent control over his magic because He Has To. the wind needs to keep going even when he's in shock, it has to stay steady even if he's angry, he Can't let it get too strong because it'll blow the ship into danger. Wind's magic is reminiscent of a dancer, fluid and graceful, controlled, but strong.
Legend's magic on the other hand is the most ungodly combination of what the actual crap? Where Time's is like someone took so much and stuffed it together, Legend's is like a house with many windows, and each time you look in a window, there's something different. His magic isn't blatantly Wrong, but it does flicker in and out as New Things. Monster magic? yeah, he's got that. Hylia's magic? Oh, yeah, you can sense that when his emotions are running high. Dream magic? dude is steeped in the stuff, but you have to look to find it. Death magic? Oh yeah better believe it. you touch that lightning scar that runs all over his left side and it's like Death herself is holding your hand. Dude's magic is screwy, but not Scary. His magics are all kinda only see-able by those who are similar, so it chameleons around with people so they can't ever sense anything strongly unless their magic is the same. In which case Oh! Same! Friend! Magic users (ahemHyruleahem) love him to death because he just feels Familiar, but if they could see how Much and Many magics there is, they'd be a little scared.

Where First Fits
So, if First were to join the chain, how would he fit in? What would the dynamics be like? Here's my take!
Sky: First is so lost with this kid. Sky knows about him, knows so much- they even share a loftwing, but Sky is everything First is not: healthy, happy, in a committed relationship, successful in his role as the hero. As an emotionally competent adult, First isn't an asshole and hating the kid, but he is uncomfortable with how Sky looks up to him. He just can't see the world or anything in it like Sky does, and while he's glad the kid after him was able to save everything, he prefers to maintain his distance. For both their sakes. He is polite though, and never unkind, just sort of distant. Sky is his replacement after all, because he failed Hylia and left her alone. It's hard connecting with someone shaped just to be everything you couldn't be. Sky meanwhile very much wants to connect with his predecessor, especially after witnessing Time and Twilight's relationship, so he's majorly disappointed to be shut out and held at a distance, especially because First doesn't do that with most of the others.
Four: He is rather confused, but also somewhat amused by the smithy. They have very little in common, but some of Four's quirks remind him of Orville (maybe it's a smithy thing?) and he enjoys the smithy's company as long as he's not needed to talk much (which is great because Four can talk enough for both). Four likes him well enough too, and though they aren't exactly close, he does enjoy the quiet company and having someone who appreciates, respects and somewhat understands his craft.
Time: If anything, First finds Time somewhat amusing, at least on a surface level. Here's this young man whose soul is older than his body, but he's still very much young at heart at the same time. He's an anomaly, and watching him play the "mysterious adult figure" is highly entertaining for First, who's older in all ways and debatably more jaded. Despite being older, he doesn't seek to become leader in the other's stead, and he prefers to sit back and watch Time try and handle the boys, although he'll offer advice if he thinks they're getting too out of hand. Time is confused and a bit peeved at having someone more mysterious/older/experienced than him who sits between condescending and genuine, but maybe that's just his youngest child syndrome talking.
Twilght: First is definitely amused with this one. They aren't close, but he appreciates the genuine nature and honestly the rancher brings to the table. The wolf thing is weird, but considering he had a talking bird tell him to get good, he's just glad the wolf is actually just a sweet farm boy. While he appreciates that Time is Twilight's mentor, he sees nothing wrong with dropping advice and offering help to the young man on occasion, especially if it doesn't seem like Time will/can help. Time is a bit resentful of that too, but holds his tongue because Twilight really appreciates the help/advice. Twilight is confused by First, but he's got a lot of respect for him and what he's got to share with them. He still likes Time better though (First is even more intimidating than the old man somehow).
Wind: Precious. On one hand, the kid saddens him because child heroes are a tragedy, but he really admires and respects that the sailor took up a role that was abandoned and forged his own Hero's Spirit after his world lost it. Wind calls them "soul forger buddies" and First takes no issue with it. He's very fond of his newly acquired soul brother, and delights in indulging Wind's ideas and schemes. The kid's innocence is a breath of fresh air (even if it is slightly tarnished by his adventure) and he's in awe of the sailor's strength in overcoming foes and coming out just as bright as before he started. He both wants to protect that, but also acknowledges the sailor's skill enough to not undermine him in battle. He's struggling to understand, but by Hylia, he loves this kid already!
Legend: He admires Legend's strength and wisdom. The kid's been through a lot, more than most could handle, and as someone who died in his battle, the fact that the vet's made it this far alone has his full respect. That said, Legend worries him; he's dedicated his whole life to being a hero, with no consideration for being a person, and First knows from experience the toll that can take on someone. Legend's still young, but he's given up growing up in order to be a hero, and First fears that will lead to burnout, despair and eventually a miserable ed like he faced himself. He's determined to at least try getting this kid to start being a person again, ad maybe that helps him do the same for himself. they've got a lot in common after all, and in many ways, he sees himself in the vet (which of course scares him more). Legend himself is aware of First's fate, but he admires him, and in many ways, First is similar to his own predecessor. He respects the experience the other has, and it's nice for him to realize he's not the only veteran anymore, and the fact that First let's him drop the responsibilities of being the experienced one is a relief he didn't know he needed.
Hyrule: He's impressed with this kid. A capable fighter isn't strange to find with this group, but Hyrule's dry humor is definitely to First's taste, and while they're both distrustful people, they share a mutual love of bad jokes and snark. They bond by swapping quips, and while it can seem rather tense, they're both fully enjoying themselves even if the others aren't. Hyrule is a bit nervous about being around more knights, but First is pretty down to earth and normal in comparison to the flashy captain, so he warms up quick. First is always willing to share knowledge, and Hyrule is eager to learn, and while the process has more snappy comebacks than necessary, they're both enjoying it.
Warriors: There's a deep mutual respect here. Warriors acknowledges that First is someone who's made the ultimate sacrifice for his people, who's suffered unjustly at the hands of his government, and who was dealt a sour hand all around. First sees a young man who's been dealt a similarly awful hand, and while they don't go into detail, they do find solace in the company of the other. The fact that they're also both knights and leaders means they share a lot of experiences and Warriors frequently consults with him regarding strategy and the like. He's not exactly taking a mentor role to the captain, as he thinks Wars has grown into his hero title well on his own, but he's willing to help where he can and offer knowledge or understanding where needed.
Wild: Like Sky, the kid weirds him out. They've both died because of their adventures, both watched everything fall to ruin because of "their failures", but unlike himself, who carries that like a burden, Wild is still a bright thing. It's not like with Wind, where he came out stronger; First can't help but feel like Wild's totally unaltered by his experience (he's wrong of course, but Wild tends to mask really well). He struggles to understand the champion, and while he doesn't hate or resent him, there's a disconnect there that's not helped by Wild's own self doubts convincing him that First is always looking down on him. Like with Warriors, Wild's relationship with First is strained, although civil. First reminds Wild of how he used to be and maybe what he "should be", and it makes him uncomfortable. He acknowledges that First "failed" as well, but that doesn't stop the older hero from seeing like some paragon he can never emulate, which frustrates him immensely.

LU Moms
List of LU boys I'm giving a mom because I can <3
Sky: His mom's name is Robin and she's a weaver who lives on one of the smaller islands. Sky moved to Skyloft for schooling, but he visits his mom from time to time. They are sass/gossip buddies and he got his looks and sense of humor from her. She's far bolder than he is (and with a far dirtier mouth) and quite the chatter-box. She taught him embroidery and anything of his that he or Zelda didn't make, she probably did.
Warriors: Lyra Tailor is a soft-spoken sort of person. She used to sew to provide for the family, but she's getting on in years and her eyesight isn't what it used to be. In some ways, Legend reminds Wars of his mother (arthritis and determination), and she held their family together even after the loss of both her husbands. Currently, she lives in a lovely house in Castletown that Warriors bought for them, sitting right over the tailor shop that his sisters currently work at (and own). She's an amazing singer and while not a bold woman, if asked, she's the strongest person the captain knows. She no longer can sew very much, but she tends the flower beds around the house religiously.
Four: His mum, Myrtle Smith, is the daughter of Grandpa Smith. She's a lady-in-waiting to the current queen, and thus isn't around as often as Four's father. She's soft spoken and, unlike her husband and son(s), doesn't tend to talk much at all. She loves gardening though, and she and Leon (Four's Dad) actually met in the castle gardens while she was gathering some flowers for the (then) princess. Out of all the colors, Blue takes after her the most, with a love of cooking and a keen focus on tidiness. Like him, her temper is terrifying, but it's is much harder to trigger.
Legend: Technically, she's believed to be dead, but I have headcannons, so here we go. Loretta Hyrule was the previous queen of Hyrule. Due to the fall of the hero some generations ago, her kingdom is far from peaceful and she was well known as a warrior queen. Petite in size but with a very strong presence, she was good at commanding the room and leading her troops into battle. She was a bold, determined sort of person, with a strong love of horses and art, as well as being a hopeless romantic. Fable inherited her leadership skills, but most castle staff say that Legend is her living legacy, as he takes after her in terms of both looks and personality.

Hyrule Doesn't Like Touch
Fairies do not often interact with each other in the physical sense. As most prefer to fly around rather than use any other limbs, it can be very difficult to get within close proximity with each other to actually make contact without somehow crashing into each other or otherwise disrupting flight.
Instead, fairies usually use their magic to interact. Their magic can interact with that of other fairies without potential disaster, and thus they fill the need for "interaction" in this way.
Hyrule is a hylian most of the time, but he still grew up around fairies enough to know their culture and behaviors better than that of hylians. He's not accustomed to physical touch from other people and it usually makes him pretty uncomfortable, especially if he's not expecting it. Instead, he prefers to interact through magic, although most of the others can't understand or reciprocate. Those who can quickly become his favorite people, because they're the only ones who can actually connect with him fully.

Warriors has a fear of doctors. He doesn't explain it to the others, but he will refuse to see a medic even if he is actively bleeding out, would much rather one of them attempt to patch him up, or even try to do it himself.
Time and Wind are as understanding as they can be. They hate that Warriors rarely gets proper treatment, but they get it. They understand. After all, all fears are born from something, and they got to witness that particular birth.

After enough time, Malon and Time like to play a game called "where did they get that?" where they like to point out qualities and features of the younger heroes and determine which one of them they got it from.
No one bothers reminding them that they aren't actually their kids.
