so many times in my life i wanted to end it all & be done with existing in a seemingly never ending cycle of abuse and pain, but Kurt's words carried me through that pain & helped me turn it into something beautiful. he inspired me to pick up a guitar for the first time & i spent hours in my room all alone practicing until my fingers bled. i wanted to give up so many times but i successfully taught myself guitar. i turned to art and writing to express myself. Kurt somehow knew how to put all the thoughts and emotions i was feeling into words. til this day i've never known anyone else who could describe EXACTLY how i was feeling like he did. i've never been drawn to an artist like i am with kurt. there's so many weird coincidences & things i have in common with him. like bipolar disorder, being a heroin addict, having scoliosis, stomach pains & so much more. he just gets it. and it hurts so bad i'll never get to speak with him directly or thank him for all he's given me. i write to him in my journal because i can't talk to him in person. & i swear on everything there's been times where i feel like he's sending me signs through experiences or strange happenings. i could be totally insane or just a stupid daydreamer but regardless it gives me so much comfort to feel the familiarity that i associate with kurt. i'll never understand why such incredible ppl are always taken too soon. its almost like the ultimate punishment having such a deep connection with someone or having your life saved by a person who you can never speak to at least once in your life. i mourn kurt all the time. i've shed so many tears because it makes me so angry to know what he endured & how pure his soul was despite being surrounded by some of the most venomous, vile human beings to ever disgrace this earth. 1 of my favorite things about him was the fact that everyone thought he was a slacker but he worked harder than anybody. he deserved so much better than what this world gave him. i will celebrate him til the day i die. because if it weren't for him i would've died at 11yrs old. LEE SEOLHWA 1000 times Lee Seolhwa she is so interesting to me and I feel like canon barely scratched the surface. Which is understandable given its a yoohankim centred story and she's YJH's original wife but I want a thousand more words dedicated to her. The her of the original lifetime YJH lived, the her of his first and second regression and all the other regressions, the her we meet in Dokja's timeline and how she feels about YJH's past with her. I honestly think their dynamic is one of the YJH relationships I think about the most despite their limited narrative space like how do you handle the fact that this man loved a version of you for a full lifetime and raised kids together and then loved you again in his second lifetime but has now lived over a thousand lives so when he looks at you instead of romance it's... The reminder of an old friend. An old love. That's not you and you're both perfectly fine with that but man do I want to read more about their thoughts on it and where they agree and where they feel differently towards each other. Also her role as the medic and what it entails to be the one who picks the squad back up after they cut each other and themselves to pieces out of love.

I'd also throw Sangah in here but I don't think she can be classified as a minor character. Still she's probably my favourite after Han Sooyoung so I'd love literally any extra content about her. Or Gilyoung, Yoosung, Jihye. I'd read about the kids lives before the apocalypse or about Jihye failing exams afterwards or her thoughts on the trauma she went through. Or just them sitting around playing video games. I adore all these characters so much I could read another 5000 pages of them just having goofy adventures with HSY complaining every chapter that no one is going to want to read such boring simple fluff.

“What?” Han Sooyoung snaps, when she picks the phone.

“I think Jung Heewon might like me,” Sangah says, voice faint.

Han Sooyoung crackles. “What? You finally realised it?” She says, like it’s a fact, a common sense thing — Sangah should know it, as she knows the sky is blue and her name.

Sangah feels weak in her legs. She sits down.

If Han Sooyoung thinks so too, it must be true. She isn’t just deluding herself, is she? But… just in case…

She calls Kim Dokja and Lee Seolhwa and Sookyung-Ahjumma and Yoo Joonghyuk — who isn’t in fact helpful at all and says, in a flat voice, “is this why you called” before immediately hanging up but sends a follow up text that reads: why are you asking something so obvious — and calls Jang Hayoung, too.

They all say the same thing.
