Moodboards, Aesthetics, Vibe boards....

Since I love Autumn and Halloween, I've decided to put my inspired creative juices to use by doing moodboards, aesthetics, and vibe boards.

Here I will explain what each of those mean to me as a creator. (Examples of requests for each are at the bottom.)

Mood Board: Size dependant on inspiration, 2 main themes, 3 sub-theme limit. Easy going projects.

Aesthetic: More personalized and petite. Between 6-9 photos depending on what I find. 1 main theme, 3 sub-theme limit. Zodiac goes as a freebie if you supply it.

Vibe boards: More general, comes in three parts.., song lyrics, special quotes, and other small text can be added, these are larger projects so I don't always have time, and will get to them when I can. 1 main theme, 1 complimenting theme for each part, 1 sub-theme for all or for each part.

This story details an adventure in Mendev featuring Passerene Cygnarus, a young woman who used to be called Sparrow in her youth and who was never captured by slavers. She grew up with her brother Isore in Dehrukani, before Isore finally started his years-long ambition of carving footholds in positions of power to help steer the general cultural and sociopolitical atmosphere of Avistan as a whole. Big plans, and Rene is mildly wary of the fact that her brother has major Evil Guy vibes, but he's her brother and she owes him for the years he sacrificed raising her, so she plays assistant.

Their latest project is to help rebuild a "fuck you mansion" for one Count Daeran Arendae, after his home was destroyed in the demon attack on Kenabres. He was briefly conscripted to the Crusade, before the newly minted knight commander booted him out, so now he's lavishing in Kenabres employing architects to build him a new home.

The story mainly follows Rene following a long an adapted version of Daeran's companion quest, where she figures out he's got a head full of ghosts, befriends him (and maybe more) and saves him anyway <3

"And after?" The count gives an elegant shrug. "It was good fun while it lasted, but camping in the cold rain in the armpit of the Worldwound? I can spend my time better in a privy." Rene had done her research on the count long before they accepted the commission, and knows that he's not quite telling the truth. He had been in Kenabres during the demon attack that had incited the current Crusade, though whether he actually helped or not isn't verified. What is verified is that his honorable cousin, Queen Galfrey of Mendev, appointed him to the Crusade as an attache to the newly minted Knight Commander, possibly in response to the alleged heroic actions he took in Kenabres. It didn't matter either way why she did it, because the brand new leader of her armies took one look at Count Arendae and informed him his services were not welcome. Rene winces just thinking about it, the slight and all it implied. Though looking at him now, she understands why a military commander decided against dragging him on a campaign to retake the lost city of Drezen. The young noble hardly seems like the kind of man who would stand mud up his trousers or sleeping on hard ground for weeks at a time. The embarrassment of the rejection might not sting so much when the kind of job he was turned down for was trying to fend off the encroaching demon scourge. But it might also be why he's building this fuck-you mansion to begin with--it would be a way to distract from the recent shame by pointing attention to some new outrageous thing, and also make it clear that the social stumble was not something that bothers Count Arendae one bit.

And a second one, mainly because i like this one a lot but it feels too short to put on its own:

"That was the most haunted man I've ever met in my life." Isore gives her a placid stare. "I found him rather irreverent, personally." Rene snorts. "Come off it, you know what I meant. That man's got a ghost, or a curse, or both. You could feel its fingers on your neck." "And it likely will not kill him until after we are finished building his ridiculous house. Let it go, Passerene. He is not our concern." Isore always had the final say on such things, but then he usually is the one who points them out. "Isn't it strange though? Aren't you the least bit curious?"

Like Draco, I redesigned and renamed his deceased wife:

Mari, aka. Karakumo, was Vicky’s mother and a former member of both the Kyoufu Carnival and Super Wings. She was also the sister of Akumu and the mentor of her nephew and successor, Inei/Rakumo. Displeased by her organization’s growing and harmful practices of scaring people, Mari left the Kyoufu Carnival and pursued her own ways. She would eventually meet Draco, a Super Wing completing his 300th mission to earn the Legendary SW title during that time.

Mari would eventually join the Super Wings (after Draco surrendered himself in a “playful” chase with her) and raise a younger Vicky with Draco. However, Mari’s work was cut short when she sacrificed herself on an off-duty mission to save the two jets from a member of the Kyoufu Carnival (Akumu, who wasn’t present in the same location as the crimefighters, believed her own sister betrayed the organization upon hearing Mari’s inclusion to the Super Wings), who will be the same vehicle to attack TW years later. The incident would eventually cause Draco to leave the SW, end his Kid Wing role, and despise being called a “hero.”

Meanwhile, the Super Wings only know that the dramatic Legendary Super Wing vanished from their radar. But KW’s name would eventually inspire them (though they are still haunted by that attack) and others, such as a young boy named Allister. Also, there’s a rumor flying around the Super Wings that something or someone is haunting the Hall of Fame at midnight.

Draco considers Vicky the spitting image of Mari. Evidently, the two female jets share a snarky trait. However, Mari’s snark is a bit more controlled than her daughter’s. But the two share a love for pranks. In contrast, Mari is less dramatic than Draco and Vicky combined. The puppeteer also likes reading, and she is more effective at narrating campfire stories because Mari loves the horror genre. She’s also pretty good with knives: you would find her experimenting in the kitchen, which is something Draco is very cautious about. Not only how sharp the blade is, but Mari’s questionable creativity in the kitchen.

Hi, i’m KC, and I started this blog to track my progress on a new hobby. I’m away from home right now, but this sweet kid is waiting for me to come back. This is a resin 3D printed Kabbit doll (sold on Etsy with the creator’s permission). I’ve never customized a doll before but I’m excited to try it out! I’ve watched lots of videos and done some research, plus I’m willing to make mistakes. Right now, the plan is to base this doll on Tohru from Fruits Basket— I was utterly obsessed with both BJDs and Fruits Basket in middle school, so it seems fitting to come back to both as an adult. I’ll be sharing updates as I keep working on this doll and would appreciate feedback or advice along the way!

One of my oldest friends was shaped foundationally by aphmau's minecraft diaries series and ive been watching it on and off just to see if i could understand what it was that lit that spark and after plowing through 100 episodes of the first season im like. God that was like forcing down halfway recycled plastic slush. Where can i get more of this.
