Here's a journey into how my dumb random brain works: I wanted to do a St. Patrick's Day piece but didn't want to do just a leprechaun, so I thought about other green stuff (had a killer drunken Slimer from Ghostbusters idea I might get to some day) and boom! Godzilla came to mind. How had I not drawn Godzilla before?! Well I remedied that, but then after I finished the B/W old-school throwback I realized the whole point was making something green for St. Patty's! Stop being stupid, stupid! So I did a green alternate and it came out flamethrower even though it has zero to do with the holiday. Can't wait to throw these up on the etsy, I'm pretty proud of them. And you can't tell too well, but the alternate glows under black light. Because of course it would. Much love, cheers and stay safe, everyone. Godzilla x Kong was really good, I liked it a lot

There were a couple little references and easter eggs throughout it that I really haven't seen people talk about so I'm gonna do that!

Spoilers (not anything huge, but still be warned)

First thing I noticed is that Kong's little cave entrance on the side of a mountain is almost exactly the same as his cave entrance in the original King Kong (the place he brings Anne Darrow to and fights off a pterodactyl at).

Both Godzilla and Kong use their original roars from time to time, not fully screaming them but occasionally Godzilla or Kong will growl them for a split second.

Bernie's room has the Muto movie poster that Ford Brody had in his room at the beginning of Godzilla 2014

Holy shit Skeleturtle. He doesn't physically show up but he's spray painted onto a wall that Godzilla steps on alongside graffiti of Hedorah, Jet Jaguar, a Xillian UFO, and Knifehead from Pacific Rim

There's a fuzzy little glowing dragonfly that flies around Mothra's temple, and my first immediate thought was "omg fairy Mothra" I actually don't know if that was on purpose, but it has the same color pallet as Mothra along with it being furry and bioluminescent so it's probably related to her in some capacity right? (I'm coping)

In the far future, Kyju lives in a large cave up in the mountains, away from civilization. One individual goes searching for "The Kaiju" of legend, in hopes of finding answers to their own past and help from a massive impending threat. (Part 6 of 6)

That’s all I’ve got for now. I’ve just been making these up as I go, but I may plan more later. Hope you guys like it :3
