“smut as a means to character development” fic examples

here is a (slightly long - sorry, wanted to provide plenty of examples lol) list of amazing fics that, in my opinion, are fantastic examples to help understand the concept better. this masterlist will be linked on @notjustsmutficfest, so if any of the authors who are listed here don’t want their fic being linked to the fest for any reason, please let me know & i’ll absolutely take it off the list! i left out the summaries for the sake of not making this list 84 miles long, but will add them once i link them to the fest blog as well :’)
