still thinking about why community fics are so well written on average like theres gotta be some kind of reason right? whats so different about the fandom compared to everything else

#like tbc im not insulting other fandoms #but like #just in terms of straight up like grammar word usage readability imagery. why are they like that #i mean obv i havent read fics for That Many fandoms #but like. spn is spn right there are like a billion spn fics its a huge fandom so that makes sense #cm is just a complete shithole for reasons unknown to me #always sunny & 911 are both good #but like. the writing in my favorite macdennis & buddie fics is as technically skilled as what i’d consider probs an average trobed fic #& again i want to be clear im not disparaging other fandoms other fics i just want to know why community fics are so insanely well written #rambling
