Head cannons for Josh, that i have
^ One of the barn cats really likes him so when he doing his job there’s just a fur ball following him ever where(Can’t ride with the kit a lot but the kit do like to lay on Pearlharts back and take a nice nap)
^ when Scott and him first started fighting over Starshine ranch, he was actually a bit scared of him because he knew Scott was a vampire
^Dude is very much Bi but grew up in a very conservative area so never got to say it out loud till he moved to Jorvik(also went his first pride parade)
^The reason him and Huck don’t say there last names is because there family is so damn big (and people get marry and re-marry and married to more then just one person) there are just too many last name they just don’t know anymore which one they should say
^He actually used to sleeping out doors so when he first moved to Jorvik a lot of the time he just pass out in the wood with Pearlhart (with her being a feral horse at one point she was more comfortable with that too)
^Carl went from his boss to his dad at some point and neither of them know when either
^Grew up in a house with siblings and cousins both older than him and younger
^Alonso and him are really good friends, go riding together all the time threw MistFall
^Was super worried about Justin when he went missing (was also one of the first people to see him after he came back)
^ Really good with kids for some reason

I have been brainstorming the ssl rewrite thing, so there is the love interest plot line;
For Lisa, I want to keep Josh. The og Josh and make him emo. Blond hair, chain on his said with emo makeup and writing Miscreants lyrics on his converse. He and Lisa are classmates and since Lisa's fav band is the Miscreants she immedietly notice the lyrics. As they start talking, Josh tell her he can play on guitar and they agree to work on music together. For sexuality I would also add Lisa is bisexual.
For Linda, I want no love interest. I don't feel she needs one. She has some crushes here and there, also could be bicurious due some sceme Sabine pulled off. But as someone who working for the school paper, doing extra projects and try to solve the big mistery of Jorvik has no time for love.
Anne is a lesbian and no one (expect her friends) know this. She has shit tons of "secret admire" she always got little love notes, time to times chocolates and flowers in her locker. There also was a rumor about her and Derek, the young "model photograpger". She used to adate with Alex, but due to some missunderstanding they broke up and trying to be only friends.
So Alex, well everybody knows he gay as fuck. In some point the whole school was sure she would end up with Jessica, but in reality she tried to help Anne. She still in love with Anne, but feel extreamly angry. They have this lovers to enemies to friends dynamic and she wants the lovers part back!

i have a horrible bladder and thus reggie does too, and it's very known amongst the Keepers of Aideen to make sure there is a toilet or an available, hidden away spot for reggie specifically wherever the next mission takes place.
even when she's just going on trail rides with Josh and Alonso, she's suddenly have the urge to go and they're both like "we made sure you went before we left—" at the very start, but a year later, they're so used to it that they pick out large enough bushes for her and make sure the trails they ride have said bushes.

Headcannons of Rusty and Ydris
(for context, Rusty is my character on SSO. She's 18 and Ydris is 22. Some of these are my own thoughts of SSO, therefore it's not canon)
Rusty was suspicious of him when they first met
Of course she didn't really trust men in general back then though
The island was her escape, and Ydris soon became her anchor
It took two years for them to get together though (with lots of pushing from both sides's friends/companions)
He helped her with her fear of getting hurt emotionally
Rusty loves Ydris's eyes
Which just so happen to be his worst insecurity
People in Pandoria don't usually have mismatched eyes
Despite having Zee as a companion, Ydris doesn't know how to ride
And because Rusty loves to ride, she starts to teach him
Turns out he's just as much as a natural as she is
Rusty sings, Ydris plays the flute
The Soul Riders love their relationship so much
Surprisingly, Alex was the first to notice the two's dynamic
She was protective of Rusty, but also pushed her friend to confess
Linda starts to write a love story based on Rusty and Ydris
The other Riders tease her about it being just as bad as her fanfiction (but secretly they all love it)
Lisa wrote love songs about them two
Rusty was mostly embarrassed about that
So she made Lisa confess her feelings for Josh
Anne was originally hesitant and cautious with the man from Pandoria
But eventually she became convinced that Ydris was good for Rusty and Rusty was good for Ydris
Ydris has a different form in Pandoria then he does in Jorvik
Rusty hasn't seen it since he's convinced that she'll think he's a monster and will leave him
(they're working on his abandonment issues)
Ydris will often leave little love notes for Rusty to find in her barn
He loves it when she attends one of his shows
Even more so when she performs in it
(people always go wild when she appears)
Rusty doesn't hesitate to introduce him to all of her friends
Ydris is amazed that she's managed to befriend all of these people
Ydris is great at painting nails
Rusty convinced him to paint all of the Soul Riders nails
He does hers once a week
He also complains when it starts to chip within a day or two
(Rusty doesn't really take it easy when it comes to her nails)
They've learned to stray away from green and yellow, since her horses think it's food
Red and Black are mostly what she chooses
Rusty knows how to cook, Ydris is horrible at it
She only has one rule when they move in together--stay out of the kitchen
Rusty will rescue random animals
They have several pets because of it
One time she was going to ask Pi for some help and found a pup trapped in a bear trap
Rescued it, brought it home
She claimed it was a puppy
Ydris didn't agree so they took it to the vet to see
Turns out he was right, it wasn't a puppy
It was a wolf pup
But Rusty had already fallen in love with it and who was Ydris to say no to his beloved?
She named it Cookie and calls it her little sweet thing
The wolf for some reason hates Ydris
Which has caused problems for the couple before
But they resolved the issue by making the wolf stay outside
Speaking of problems, no one goes near them on the rare occasion when they're having a fight
Who would though?
Ydris is a Pandorian with the power of magic
Rusty is extremely powerful in all four of the circles of Druid magic
Thankfully their longest fight lasted 3 days
They both apologized at the same time
All in all it's a healthy relationship with lots of trust and lots of love

Crazy ex girlfriend changed me in many ways
Like, I've only seen like two people talk about this but the episode names? The evolution from "Josh!" to "Josh?" to the chaos of season 3 to season 4's open ended titles??? Amazing.
The fact that it's a musical is also kind of integral part of the plot? I like musicals as they are but having the songs be essentially Rebecca's inner monologue and her interpretation of things to show how she sees the world??? Perfect. And it's linked to her development too.
Also I really like how it's both real and exaggerated, it's very fun to watch, even if the plot gets heavy. And when it gets heavy it's kind of really well done??? I still rewatch That One Scene from Josh is irrelevant. every few days. It makes me emotional even though I know all the lines and just... Dammit it's great
I honestly can't pick my favorite season, though maybe 4 since it's kind of the best season for Rebecca, idk I really enjoy seeing her get better after the mess that was season 3 (in a good way, it's probably my second favorite season)
The characters are all great too. Even the ones that only appear in one episode are very neat, and I don't even mind not seeing them more because I feel like they do have a life outside the plot.
Idk this was meant to be a "hahah, I'm now naming my chapters like CXGF episodes" post, but I can't go too long without praising the show for everything. It's just that good and everyone should experience it

I'm definitely biased as a big fan but damn, some people really don't get KH huh. And I don't mean they don't understand the plot and worldbuilding (though sure they don't get that either), I'm talking about how they're like "KH isn't about anything, there's nothing to really like about it aside from the combat and music, most people are probably in it for the nostalgia and the story isn't really a story anymore, because it has no interesting character arcs or ideas, basically KH1 and 2 were good but Nothing Else Was" and like... Okay... I don't know how to explain my exact problems with this kind of criticism but to me it feels like They Don't Understand KH. I don't know where I was going with this
