This was originally a scene for a crossover where Jore and the rest of the 10 squad visit Kai in New Mexico and ends up meeting the Scooby gang around the same time as Alien Invaders so I had drawn this scene of her participating in the final battle. Really it's my excuse to draw Jo in a serious fight.
I spent like 3 hours on this, most of it trying to come up with a good hero costume for Jo. But in the end I decided to just stick with regular clothes. Her magical effects are called spores & colored orange to Gwen's blue (I am not and never will be a fan of pink). Gives me major Halloween vibes which is funny considering Jo's intended element was Autumn.
Another major change is she no longer has pink as her color theme. I realized most of Ben's canon love interests wore pink or red in some way. Tbh I don't think Jo really has a color theme. Also her new surname is Meadows, I think it fits her power nicely with the added bonus of rhyme: Jo Meadow. Or Petal Meadow lol.

I absolutely adore the relationship between Giolla and Dellinger, so I'm was delighted that I got to write something about them for this zine!

Okay, last GW2 thing for today:
There's something pretty sad about the whole sons of Svanir thing, at least as far as the core game is concerned.
The original Svanir was a hunter, brother to the great heroine Jora, and they were hunting together when he fell under the influence of an Elder Dragon champion and was transformed beyond saving. Jora took on the duty of dealing with what he had become:
She tracked him down (with the PC's help) and killed him to prevent him doing more harm and to free them from the curse:
Then some total assholes who had basically nothing to do with any of this decided to make some weird misogynistic cult around Svanir because his sister mercy-killed him. I mean, the backstory is genuinely pretty tragic and these guys are all like "how can we make this about us, and also wahhhh misandry"
True to life, for sure, but still. Back in the day, I thought the Jora-Svanir story was really sad, so the sons of Svanir are doubly obnoxious.

Before I forget it again, I'm going to upload this years OC_Tober
Again I created my own prompts but only 15 in total. On some days I just drew a portrait of one of my OCs. I managed to draw on every single day and that was the goal after all.
1) Hafwen taking care of an injured Tsafried.
2) Diriora, Cyrille and Hafwen are trying to set up a new TV but Diriora wants to call a professional.

4) Cyrille: Who's your favorite person in the whole world?
Diriora: Tilia of course
Tilia: Leith
Diriora: *gasp of betrayal*
5) Wolpetinger
6) Tilia and Tsafried fight over who will sleep where on the bunk bed.
7) Diriora: Did you bring Leith?
Hafwen, gesturing to Tsafried: No, but I brought the next best thing.
Diriora: Tsafried? The next best thing would be Wolpetinger
Tsafried: I would be offended, but Wolpetinger is freakishly strong fast.

9) Tsafried and Leith lose Tilia in a store.

11) Imagine Tilia waking up in the middle of the night from a nightmare and calling Diriora, who comes over and comforts them.

Cyrille: No, not you two. You stay up late all the time.
Cyrille, to Diriora: You.
14) Wolpetinger, Hafwen and Leith go to a flea market.
15) Tilia and Leith watch fireworks together.

17) It’s 1am and Diriora and Wolpetinger decide they need to take an emergency trip to the store, because they need more energy drinks or Doritos or something.
18) Diriora, Hafwen and Tsafried watching Hafwens's favorite movie.

20) Wolpetinger has something that Leith desperately wants or needs. Wolpetinger won't give it up easily.
21) Tilia: What's the signal when something goes wrong?
Tsafried: We yell, 'oh shit.'
Hafwen: ...That'll work

Diriora: No.

Best One Piece mommy keychain concept!
I didn't know which colour her heels were so I made them the same colour as her coat which looks similar to the colour of Baby 5's heels, which created the cute idea of Giolla handing down her old heels to Baby 5, only slightly altered
