reverting back to my roots..,.,., 😔😔😔😔😔

(roots being my too-long-for-comfort undertale au phase)

i always loved the idea of a swap au. never cared for underswap, but i love swap aus!!

so i did a bo and ophelia personality swap.

yeah. thats right. what if their personalities swapped (from a lore standpoint, that would not make sense, so i had to adjust some things!!)

adjustments i made!!

Ophelia:

originally, her parents died in a housefire and she moved in with her grandma. whatever. original ophelia being traumatized from her parents death. ok. boring!! (no its not do not joke abt people's trauma.)

the changes? after her parents' deaths, she moved in with her aunt instead (amelia.) right. ok. so, she has sibling-like figures now, great!

ok but what happened after amelia died??

broke her. first, her parents, now, amelia? and worst of all, it was hidden for weeks? the fuck is wrong with them (castle village guild!!)?? anyways. basically bo's arc, where, after an important figures death, she realizes all of EVERYTHING is pointless and there's no reason to continue on putting effort into shit that doesn't matter.

totally breaks, but doesn't remove herself from the adventuring scene. actually, she becomes a "rogue" adventurer (not affiliated with any guild, typically anti-guild, and more of like a monster bounty hunter).

as for her magic, which i don't rly touch on, she's still an unstable vampiric/healing combo. still got blessed by the diety for healing magic n all. except!! instead of being even more nervous and shaky cuz of the unstableness, it effects her more in anger mood swings. where, at any second, she could blow up. frequently has outbursts of rage and all other types of emotions. has broken multiple weapons and training dummies due to this!! (it's not something to joke about, and she has put multiple people in danger due to these outbursts.)

she's a douchebag now, sorry. basically like. bo!! wow! a concept right there!! a personality swap where the personalities swap??? no way!!

as for bo, his arc's normal. except, after 2 years of self destructive behaviors (drinking, drugs, frequent hook ups, basically indirect self harm) he comes to a realization that. hey.

it's not all bad, right? sure, the only parental figure i had is dead, but she wouldn't want this right? she'd want me to prosper, and to move on. it's been two years, man! two years! i can get over it now.

quits cold turkey, gets a job, finishes college. relapses every so often (his coworkers do NOT help with that), but finds himself back to rythym eventually. of course, he's still shaky, addiction and whatever. and also, just like. dude. his mom died. the woman he looked up to died. his shakiness and nervous behavior only gets worse around authority and guild figures.

refuses to allow himself to get close to someone albeit romantically, platonically, or however else.

oh, yeah, and cain and jack are the same don't worry about them. they try to help with bo's situation, but fails ultimately.

both decided to take over the farm. share legal rights to it and all. ophelia wanted it to be close to amelia again, and bo wanted it because he realized his workplace is not safe if he wants to totally get rid of his addiction.

oh, and also, bo denies ANY usage of the name "bo davey barabell." he legally changed it after moving to evotte and going under the radar, hoping that no guild finds him (they did not).

it's now david ethan wolfe.

David, as in. davey.

Wolfe as in the scientist Misty Wolfe, whom he took a lot of inspiration from and looked at like a father figure.

and ethan just cuz it's an alright name, and pretty damn generic.

So then it was truth #report yachtfish was sent into overtime to travel to airport cities only with trains

We come back here and these airports it almost seems like another 3/4 built City for another socialism statement or really bad joke not funny at all

NO BUS AT THIS AIRPORT AND FOR ME TO HAVE BEEN THROWN INTO OVERTIME FOR A SOCIALISM ARGUMENT OF BETTER TRAIN AND FOR FORT DALLAS TO HAVE RUN AWAY WITH THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF DIVIDING THE CITY AND FIVE DIFFERENT WAYS AND GIVING UP AND PUTTING A HIGHWAY INSTEAD PUTTING UP A TRAIN TO REUNITE THE ENTIRE CITIES

I called it you guys had me kicked into overtime to jerk off an airport and I have the train take me downtown and be followed by girls and women of fanatics of the way I slapped in the bathroom the way they heard me slap outside the bathroom BANG BOOM BANG BOOM BANG BOOM

For it to have been about a train argument and for me to have been in those cities meanwhile for 20 years I've been in many downtowns with trains and and what has happened here the train has went off the tracks and into the houses and neighborhoods alongside of it WHO LET THE DOGS OUT RIGHT WHO LET THE DOGS OUT REMEMBER IN PARIS THE APES HANGING OFF THE EIFFEL TOWER RAN ACROSS THE BRIDGE AND INTO THE HOUSES. WILL PICTURE THEM ALL INSTEAD OF RUNNING ACROSS THE BRIDGE GETTING ON A TRAIN AND A TRAIN DRIVING THEM INTO THE HOUSE IS THE NEIGHBORHOODS TO GET OFF ON A TRAIN TRACKS OR TRAIN STOPS

So for you guys to have kicked it since overtime off and then again I'll for the last 90 days it was specifically me getting in trouble by saying bad words repeating the statement to girls we believe the satellite operators cannot control their emotions and behaviors around pretty girls or pretty women

But for it to reality have been you guys kicked me into overtime to bring me to these train cities I couldn't have been more embarrassed and ashamed Utah called it perfectly

Yeah because it's airport doesn't even have a bus I think they're trying to spend my money down I got to find the PNC and have them put a stop payment I changed my card and it should have stopped payment on the Metro account and the boost account yesterday I tried to use my bank card and it was denied so hopefully that means a transaction process on my old card the number came up from my old card that I just reported lost and got a new card hopefully that would have done the trick CUZ I DON'T HAVE ANOTHER $100 TO GIVE AWAY AND THEN SPEND AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THE TAXI

After I charge my tablet cuz I need the GPS I need the Wi-Fi to find a few locations WE WILL BE ON OUR WAY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO WALK OFF THIS AIRPORT WITHOUT SPENDING $40 ON A TAXI TO TAKE ME TO WALMART OR TO DOWNTOWN BUT I HAVE TO CIRCLE THE AIRPORT I JUST GOT MY BAG BACK

And and thank you our North Carolina Charlottesville for your headquarters to imitate and copycat trying to be like Atlanta international airport it's one of a kind but you guys pulled it off and I think the first time when I walked from the airport and found downtown I didn't see a train so I believe you guys are mimicking repeated sites

And again from the pictures of a Virginia that looked up online when we got here it doesn't look like it but I hope hope you guys are not putting up pictures for people to be enticed almost like a meal of hamburgers and french fries and then when you order it getting a bowl of pasta

ok but imagine calling treasure by their first name as a joke after pet names have already been established in your relationship.

hyunsuk could either be rly annoyed and pull a "actually thats BABY to you 😠" or be rly upset and whiny and pouty about it because he IS actually baby. you can honestly keep this up for as long as you like bc hyunsuk physically lacks the ability to stay angry at you but just call him baby afterwards and i swear all's good. you'll have a smiling, satisfied hyunsuk right back in your arms again

jihoon would be like "what was that?" without even missing a beat. as you continue calling him by his name he would just keep saying things like "what? I'm sorry, I can't hear you" and he's laughing the whole time too bc a) he knows he's gonna win this and b) you're trying to get a rise out of him by playing a prank which is just so funny to him. he will keep this up until you give in and call him babe or something. then he smiles real wide, clearly very satisfied with himself, and goes "ah! that's my baby"

yoshi would be taken by surprise at first, smiling nervously bc he's unsure of what he should do or even what's going on. he asks "are you mad?" and when you say no he's still like "ok....... but are u mad". he keeps replaying the last week in his head trying to figure out if he did something wrong and how he could make it up to you until you put the poor boy out of his misery. lets out the biggest sigh of relief when you call him baby again and he's already on his way to cuddle you, talking about how relieved he is that you're not actually mad at him and laughing at how silly he is :(

oh junkyu is OFFENDED. just absolutely outraged. how Dare you. "what did you just call me?" as if his own birth given name is the worse insult in the world. when ur like "your name" he just straight up denies that. suddenly he doesn't know a junkyu. that's not his name. 1000% the type to go "my name is BABY and you know damn well". will still pout and sulk even after you give up and call him baby

ok it can go one of two ways with mashiho. either he will just side-eye you with a knowing smirk on his lips bc he knows you're just trying to get his attention and he will entertain you for a while bc he thinks it's cute. or he won't even budge when you call him by his name and will just nonchalantly go "you don't call me that", refusing to even look at you until go back to calling him honey or something

stop don't even pull this shit on jaehyuk deadass he'll be so hurt. just stares at you in disbelief for probably like a whole 30 seconds trying to process what just happened and comprehend just why on God's green earth you would call him anything other than your usual pet name. "did i do something?" "are you mad at me?" "are we okay?" like honestly the questions will!! not!! stop!! coming!! until you just call him baby and ease his mind bc he's just so deeply afraid of upsetting you </3 true baby

if you thought asahi would react lmfao think again. he'll probably not even think anything of it and when you're like "you know i just called you asahi right" he's like "yeah.... thats my name..." like the most you'll get out of him is a semi-confused look for about 3.2 seconds before he goes on about his day. 0/10 reaction wouldn't recommend

yedam is also team "oh shit what the hell did i do" but after the initial shock he just gets kinda... sad? he's very attentive to you and your body language so depending on that he might pick up on the fact that it's a joke and be like "ahhh don't do that!! i was worried!!" or he might actually believe something's wrong and just try to discuss the relationship right then and there. either way he's just so glad when you call him baby again. will probably put his hand to his chest and sigh very dramatically while smiling real big or something like that :(

doyoung will just laugh a little bit. whether he gets the joke or believes you somehow don't want to call him your baby anymore he's got that "[laughs nervously] What the fuck..." vibe going for him. he does try to check with you if he did something but he's just constantly laughing the whole time and you don't actually know if he means it. even after you tell him it's just a joke he's still kinda frozen in place like "yea.. haha.. ok.." so you will have a broken boyfriend for the next 3 hours or so

haruto has got no time for this shit. he will either a) be like "that's not my nameeee" and whine and annoy you until you lose your mind/give up on the joke (whichever comes first) or b) actually act like he has no time for this and go "i'm breaking up with you" after the second time you do it, tops. don't even bother calling him babe afterwards cuz he'll just be like "yea have fun being single tho"

jeongwoo just stares at you in a mix of wide-eyed and blank expression like.... what? just happened? he asks "what did you just call me?" and if you say "your name" he just goes "no". like just No. that is Not his name and he will keep telling you that honestly you will get nowhere with this one. when you do call him baby again he's like "DAMN RIGHT i'm baby". still kinda salty abt it tho

panic. terror. war flashbacks. that's what's going through junghwan's mind when you call him by his first name. he kinda freezes in time and space and it takes him all of his courage to ask you if he did something. his mind immediately jumps to the worst case scenario that this is all actually leading up to you breaking up with him. he's honestly actually so scared you'll just Have to be like "haha just kidding baby!!!!!!! its a joke BABY" to calm him down immediately afterwards

You said in the kid headcanons you see Vil and Rook getting married when the kids were toddlers or babies and that got me curious of what the wedding would look like, then I recalled all their weddings

I, sadly for some not Riddle cause screw his mum, see some of them haven cut ties with their families for different reasons or they refused to. Like I see Kalim having at least invited his family to his wedding (I like JamKal as well but also love KalJamAce too, I'm curious of which fic you mean since I can't find anything of them minus here, just wanted to say that) but they didn't show up. And after that he decided to cut ties with them minus some of his siblings and cousins who he cares for. Another would maybe be Idia after getting that family love from Malleus' family and Azul's family and realize his family doesn't care that much about him minus Ortho who I see being the best man on his side in the wedding

Floyd x Riddle x Cater

Floyd and Caters family were very happy to be invited and accepted the invites right away along with offering to pay bar bills and half of the catering bill!

I feel like Riddles mom refused to go until she somehow learned about their kid and wanted to go (she wanted to manipulate the child) but Riddle shot that shit down REAL fast

The only one from Riddles family there is his grandma cuz shes not bat-shit insane

I think Trey would be Riddles best man, Jade would be Floyds and one of Cater's sisters husbands was his best man

The weddings aesthetic would be like red and black but also light hints of blue

Floyd would hide lil fish things in the flowers and stuff like the gremlin he is

They had some spicy ramen for Cater since they figured he wouldn't want any of the cake (despite his sisters trying to convince him to eat it)

Heartslabyul were just balling their eyes out during the whole thing and Floyd was the first husband to start sobbing

There were a lot of hugs and kisses throughout the whole thing

Riddle would have trouble convincing himself that this all was real but the moment his boyfriends fed him the first piece of wedding cake he didn't have to convince himself anymore

Cheka is like the only one from Leona's family there and that's mainly because Ruggie wanted him there

Ruggie on the other hand, has his grandmother and some friends turned family there

Cheka was the flower boy and Ruggie got SO MUCH baby fever

Leona wanted to go all out for the wedding and Ruggie had to talk him down from emptying his bank account, not like that could happen anyway but still!

This is one of the first times Leona has seen Ruggie in a suit that wasn't his or another hand-me-down and Leona had to stop himself from having a nosebleed and making out with him on the alter

Their wedding aesthetic is a lot of warm yellows and dark browns with the light tossing in of white

Oh and also lots of flowers!

The rings are actually quite similar to the promise rings Ruggie got them (see my valentines day post) but with bigger stones and their names engraved on the inside

They went all out on the food and that is a fact

I feel like they wouldn't do best mans, they just don't like people enough to want one

Leona doesn't take his hand off of Ruggie's waist the whole night and Ruggie later jokes about Leona calling him the clingy one, "You really are just a big kitten, y'know?"

Leona denies this but is a massive hypocrite when they get home

Jamikali (with a Jamikaliace one)

Kalim is the happiest he could ever be and Jamil is just happy that his husband is so happy

Jamil's father is a shitbag so his mother and Najma are the only ones from his side there

Lilia is Kalim's best man and Floyd is Jamil's best man

The wedding is actually not that grandiose, at least not by some standards, its an outdoor wedding in spring and its very pretty

They don't do wedding rings, they instead do armlets, they already had matching armlets to begin with so they felt it would be better

Vil did Kalim's makeup for the wedding and Jamil was so flustered, his husband looked so pretty in his suit, the veil and the makeup just made him look like he was handcrafted by whatever gods there are

Jamil made all the food, he ain't letting anything be poisoned... He still taste tested everything

Everyone there (that wasn't family) would tell you that was the first time they've seen Jamil have a smile that wasn't snarky but Kalim just laughs at this because hes seen Jamil smile like that all the time, just not infront of the others

Kalim was already very affectionate so Ace and Floyd didn't even question that Kalim had his arms wrapped around Jamil while they talked about stuff

Also if its Jamikaliace its the same basically except its Jamil just trying to control the two from getting drunk off their asses

Malleus x Azul x Idia (this one may be short)

Idia didn't even think of inviting his dad, hes fine with his boyfriends families and Ortho and that's it

Small wedding

The color pallet would be a lot of blues, with green only in the flowers and stuff. They wanted more but it looked weird that way

Yuu (MC) was Malleus's best man, Jade was Azul's, and Ortho was Idia's best man

Have yall seen people wear hoodies to weddings? Yeah they wore casual clothes since Idia doesn't really like suits, it had similar parts to his suit in the Groom for a Day event but it was mainly just casual

Floyd did a weird af toast

Jade hid those small little mushroom things around the place

Someone left a ferby as an unmarked wedding gift

Rook x Vil

They had a small makeshift wedding

His dad would have had it filmed and put on tv. While Vil wouldnt have minded it if it was anything else, Vil had to draw a line somewhere and also it kind of made Rook uncomfortable

The only people there were their kids

Trey heard of the thing and made them a small cake and some cupcakes for the event

Rook dried the flowers Vil gave him that morning

The wedding was in their backyard, it was very pretty but still

Everyone on Magicam was very worried about Vil going on a hiatus but it turns out he and Rook were on a honeymoon and he was disguised so nobody recognized him

If they didn't need to do anything the morning after (like write Trey a thank you letter and y'know shower and eat) Rook would have been laying with Vil all day

Much wine, like bottles on bottles of it, also a very nice cheese + meat platter

I can see her with a woman or a nb person more easily than with a man but she'd probably be fine with either as long as its someone interesting enough.

Whether you're a ghoul or a human or something in between you'll have more chances with her if you meet her Takatsuki Sen persona first. While Eto is Eto no matter how she presents herself, her more sentimental side comes into play when she's wearing her Takatsuki mask. Aogiri Eto is more brutal, focused on the end goal, hungry for all too many things. Not that hunger ever really subsides but it's less agonizing when she acts as Takatsuki even if it's mostly play pretend.

If it's her that pursues the relationship with you in the first place and not the other way around she'll probably also use Sen. It's the obvious decision if you're human but even if you're not and even if you're acquainted with the Aogiri Eto, Takatsuki has the luxury of being a bit more peaceful - and Eto knows that most ghouls would appreciate the feeling.

She'd probably prefer to be the one pursuing the relationship and initiating most things btw. In the beginning, I mean, after a bit of time it stops mattering. It's just that with her past she'd probably be wary of random people trying to get close and personal with her (just expressing your interest and appreciation is fine tho, as long as it's respectful).

She won't make a big effort to hide her nature from a human partner. She wouldn't outright tell that she's a half-ghoul of course and she'd avoid that kind of conversations in the beginning, but at some point she'd invite you to her place and you'd open the fridge and see a human head or something in there. And she'd be like 'what, no, I'm not a ghoul, dummy. I'm a half-ghoul. But yeah, I eat humans, very tasty'. She'd make it sound like a casual joke but she'll be waiting carefully for your reaction. And if your reaction is to run away or to scream loudly or to fight her, odds are you're gonna die that day.

She'd try hard not to get attached. She won't let herself get attached to a human before she knows they're fine with her being half-ghoul at all - as well as she'd never let herself get attached to a ghoul until she knew for sure that their goals aligned. After that... she'd still try to deny herself that attachment but she wouldn't succeed. She'd be able to cut them loose or even kill her partner if she felt there was no other choice - but it would be so, so painful. Not like Eto's a stranger to the pain though, huh?

She doesn't expect unconditional loyalty, she doesn't expect you to prioritize her before everything and everyone else in your life. She couldn't promise you that either anyway. But some loyalty and some prioritization are expected. You are going to put in an effort if you want this relationship to last and not end with your lungs in her mouth.

You're her muse. She's gonna model a character or three after you. You'd think she'd write you as a love interest or a main character - but nope. You're gonna be either a mysterious prophet that dies tragically soon after being introduced and gives motivation to the main character, or a fierce young revolutionary that dies cuz they choked on their own tongue or somehow even more stupidly, or a background character who's repeatedly appeared on a sight of every great tragedy but they're never involved with anything dramatic and are just living their life as best as they can. She's gonna bully you lovingly, troll you a bit, but her writing is also where her hopelessness and loneliness are most noticeable. On the other hand, if you manage to give her some hope and light and make her feel loved, you'll be able to see the subtle but almost immediate change in the world of her books.

While she doesn't expect unconditional loyalty she does want unconditional love. She doesn't believe anyone could see the ugliest parts of her and still love her, so if someone's able to? She might just cry. And laugh at the same time. But she'll feel so happy and powerful - and she will make sure you know that her love for you is as strong as yours.

She'll give you gifts. They seem almost random cuz it may be clothes, or rocks, or jewelry, or something miscellaneous, and they can be very different in style and price, but the thing is they all reminded her of you in one way or another. It's her way to tell you "I think of you always, and here's the proof". And she does think of you - a lot more than she tells you with words.

Eto will make fun of you and prank you. You'll just have to live with that, there's no way to make her stop. She can go easy on you if she sees that it makes you upset but stopping completely? Out of question. You can prank her too tho, she's totally fine with it.

She'll steal your hoodies and sweaters and probably like half of your clothes. If you're bigger than her? Excellent! If you're smaller than her? She'll do that anyway and will whine about how little you apparently love her if you're so worried about some stretched shirts smh. You can wear her clothes if your size is the same or smaller and she'll still be unhappy about it. There's no way she lets you wear her clothes if you're bigger than her.

She's good with words but if you need encouragement or reassurance sometimes it's hard for her to give it. Because even if she consciously undestands what you need to hear, another part of her is like is it really? Wouldn't it be better in the long run if they were tougher? Or maybe I should break them and rearrange the pieces? Most of the time she'll say the right words but every once in a while... well, you'd better not be very fragile.

At some point, if you're able to overcome all the differences between you and all the obstacles in your way, you're going to be more important, valuable, precious to her than anything and anyone else - more than the revolution, the truth, the justice and the revenge. Ironically, it will probably only be possible if you share her ultimate goal and some of her values.
