Lost In Space comes to a close next month on Netflix. Will the Robinsons finally stop being Lost? The original live-action 1965-1968 series was cancelled w/o a conclusion. The ABC Saturday Superstar Movie series had an animated Lost In Space episode in 1973, but it was a pilot for new adventures. The 1998 theatrical movie was theoretically the first of several movies so it didn't conclude the story. The unaired pilot for The Robinsons: Lost in Space (2004), directed by John Wu, never went to series so never had the opportunity to conclude the story. Various books and comics were obviously never allowed to conclude the story, if for no other reason than they might want to make more books or comics. funny that this was on chin day. 

we talked about how i’ve been socializing recently. we talked at length about the asking for watching a movie and how that was kinda discouraging. it was alot of revealing that my reactions were kinda invalid. unreasonable to ask for things that weren’t the same as before or wasn’t what i was doing. and i think she was trying to tell me that i was asking alot out of others without being willing to meet them where they are. that i have low tolerance for people who are different. i’m weak and i’m flimsy. 

maybe i’m like johnwu who dove into coffee so much that it became hard for him to have common people coffee. his taste buds started to only be able to stand having really nice expensive coffee. i think i’m the same that i’ve had such good friends treat me so well that it’s harder now to accept mediocre friendship. even  if i know in my head that it’s not bad attempts at friendship, that it’s just so loudly not perfect. people dont know me well. they can’t put aside their flaws well. they dont strive after you enough. 

but i dont think Christ’s perfection was revealed to us so that we could spite everything else. flaws in each other were revealed to magnify the redemptive power of Jesus blood. 

honestly, i’m still not sure how to view mediocre love from others. for sure thankful. and also thinking that it’s cool how God loves us so much more. and that we as sinful people are able to reflect even a bit of that. He who knows me perfectly and loves me perfectly.. there’s a shard of that in the people who kinda know me and kinda love me well. how cool.
