Had a lovely night at the IMPART Awards Gala Dinner celebrating some of Singapore’s emerging artists and curators. Organised by Art Outreach, the award recognises and rewards these promising art practitioners through a cash prize that allows them an opportunity to produce and showcase work, as well as a study trip to New York for arts immersion and networking. It was also exciting to witness artworks by internationally renowned artists Jin Meyerson and Wu Kuan Te, alongside Singapore artists Cultural Medallion recipient Han Sai Por and Young Artist Award winner Robert Zhao Renhui being auctioned off to support the great work that Art Outreach does. It was a great opportunity to meet and speak with collectors from Singapore and the region, artists, as well as institution heads – all of whom are integral parts of the Singapore visual arts ecosystem. My heartfelt congratulations to this year’s IMPART Award winners, artists Genevieve Chua and Faris Nakamura, and curators Zulkairi Zulkiflee and Syaheedah Iskandar. I look forward to their future contributions to the Singapore art scene. #impartawards #artoutreachsingapore #sgartweek https://www.instagram.com/p/B7nurJInNKd/?igshid=qydpinw604zl
