the fact that my boyfriend has been ghosting everyone every so often for the past few months is starting to take a toll on me. it's confusing me as to why he hasn't been responding to plans, especially when he says he'll "definitely be there." for instance, my friend and i went to this town faire/marketplace that almost everyone in town goes to every year, and he promised he'd go a week in advance. i called him a total of five times today to no response for the entire day! fuck! babe, you're starting to have me worried, but let down for the most part!!! i want to love him, and i do love him. it's extremely challenging to receive as well as give affection to him when he's so distant like this. maybe we'll see each other more during school, who knows. at least we share the same phys ed period. i can't keep trusting him to adhere to plans (for fun stuff even!!) if all he'll do is bail out, though.

one more thing to this. i've been told numerous times that he's shy, antisocial, has anxiety, is clingy to his family because of his mother giving birth to him during college, or a combination of all of the above. at this point, i'm starting to believe that all of those don't matter much at all if he's not telling me what's going on and i have to rely on someone else to keep me up to speed. i also would believe all of that if i hadn't been let down so often. i really would. but at this point, it's a real buzzkill and i'm starting to think that he's avoiding me. our relationship... shouldn't be so distant to the point where he's avoiding me. what even would be the reason for why he's avoiding me? am i boring? am i too serious whenever i make plans and he doesn't show up? fuck, is it some bullshit about how i don't like dsmp, hazbin hotel, my hero, etc.? am i just too hard to talk to (i admit, i'm not too good at holding conversations, but i'm ok with comfortable silence! especially since touch is the love language i depend on!)?

i really need to talk to him. i feel like he'll only ghost me again, though. i hope not.
