Stanley drew his sleeve across his mouth to rid it of any crumbs of lemon bread or drops of ale that might’ve been caught amongst his stubble. He’d heard that there were visitors in town - something that almost never happened in Villeneuve - and, logically, had decided to avoid everybody for the entire day, wasting it in the tavern. It was rare for people to come during the day, mainly because the largest source of income was trade and vending, so he’d managed to have the bar to himself for the most part (unfortunately, that included the barmaids, who insisted on batting their eyelashes at him at any given opportunity). He hadn’t drunk much, perhaps two or three ales and a mug of water, but it was enough to make him more drowsy than normal. On the bright side, it had given him a head start on the drinking contest that had been scheduled for that night.
The sun had just begun to sink below the mountains when the regular crowd began to flow in, mixed with three men that Stanley didn’t recognise: he assumed these were the visitors. As discreetly as he possibly could, Stanley scanned them, trying to read them for any information. They were dressed nicely, but not richly, so it was harder to tell what their social standing was and where they might’ve come from.

Hey! All those who follow/rp with me and my main blog (Jehantheflowerboy) I am so sorry that I’ve not been active lately. Where I live had been hit quite hard due to Storm Dorris, I’ve been injured so I’ve been resting along with my Japanese language exams and trips out. I shall be back on tomorrow! (27th Feb) but activity will be on/off for about a week or so.

Lost in a Good Story | Courf & Jehan
Courfeyrac loved this place - this tiny little bookshop come cafe tucked away down a side-street close to where he lived, where he could curl of the sofa under the back window with a brand-new, delicious smelling book and an equally delicious smelling slice of cake, coupled with a pot of his favourite tea.
He turned from the register, where he had just bought an especially lovely paperback novel of considerable length which was just begging to be taken to his-

The Office AU- Closed
“Hey, Grantaire, have you finished those flyers?” Grantaire glanced up from his laptop. “Not quite.” He admitted. “I thought you wanted the website design done-“ “That event is coming up soon, Grantaire. We need those flyers finished, alright?” He sighed. “Alright.” He felt a hand clap his shoulder as he opened up Illustrator. He toggled back to his email and began to search for the email containing the necessary information for the flyers. [“I’ve been here for about… three years? Yeah…I started off doing freelance work every now and again- designing flyers, making banners…Well, one day, they just asked me to stay.”] Grantaire opened the file and scanned the information. He took up his legal pad and jotted down the necessary information. [“I don’t exactly…believe in what they do here? I don’t know. It just seems like a bunch of bullshit…Oh, I can’t say that? Sorry.”] He set down his pen with a sigh and scrubbed a hand over his face. [“…Why do I stay?”] He drummed his fingers against his desk as he stared at the blank Illustrator canvas. After a moment of persistent drumming, he reached for his coffee mug and headed for the breakdown. [“…I have my reasons.”] He strolled through the office, whistling softly as he made his way through the maze of desks. A small smile bloomed on his face as he paused besides one particular desk and leaned his hip against it. “What’re you working on, Jehan?” He asked. @jehantheflowerboy

Grantaire sighed when he looked at the clock. It was 4 pm and his first day working for the Prouvaire family was rough. The house itself was huge, cleaning it took hours. Then, he had to make sure every single person in the house had everything they wanted. He heard the front door open and assumed it was the student, Jehan, coming back from school. He set the broom he was using aside to go greet Jehan.
“Welcome home, sir,” Grantaire said, bored. He felt cheap to act so submissively, but he needed the money. He looked up at the man before him. He was shocked by how young the student looked. They were about the same age, but Jehan had an innocence in his eyes he hadn't seen in a while in his tough neighbourhood. "Can I do anything to help you?" He added, barely thinking about it.

Marius was obviously no stranger to this part of town, but it was still clear he didn’t live here. He didn’t understand the full concept of what that meant in all his obliviousness, but he was definitely a target. And so on what was probably the hundredth time he’d made this walk, he found himself being pulled roughly into the alley he was passing, where he encountered three very large men demanding his wallet. The problem was, he didn’t have any money in his wallet, which the biggest man was more than disappointed to discover after grabbing it from Marius’s pocket, not even waiting to see if Marius would get it for him. Not that he had much of a choice- these men had knives. Still, he had to try to get away. But he knew that wouldn’t happen. Wouldn’t somebody walking by see them and try to help?

Angel aura quartz: my muse’s opinion of LGBT+ issues
While she’s probably not someone who would march in a protest or something, Alex considers herself a definite supporter of LGBT+ rights. She knows that her best friend is bisexual and has never had any qualms with that, and she will defend anyone she sees getting harassed because of their sexuality, gender identy etc.

jehantheflowerboy Bruce was hiding in his pen at the shelter. He was in the given plain white, baggy, t-shirt, and pale blue pajama pants. He had one green eye and one brown one, his curly brown hair was kept relatively short and so was the fur on his ears and tail. His fur was a grey with black Merle spots everywhere. There where a few of those same spots on his skin as well, around his left eye and such. One ear was always erect while the other flopped wherever it wanted. He looked up in fright when he heard the door open. He knew that it meant someone wanted to adopt him. He hoped that this would be a nice person. He curled up in his bed and tried to look cute as he chewed on his squeaky teddy bear.
