Abbott Elementary 2.05 • Juice

✨️EMMY SERIES - DAY 7✨️ If you miss The Office, Parks & Recreation, and Brooklyn 99, this show should be your next pick. You will not hear me say this about shows very often, but I really loved Season 1 of Abbott Elementary. I consider The Office, P&R as Comedy TV Gold - and they did not have the strongest of season 1s but Abbott Elementary is already off to a great start. The cast is just simply incredible - you have a mix of different and diverse characters who just mesh well with each other. I loved Ava (give Janelle James that emmy!!) so much, she reminded a little of Michael Scott - and Janine, Babara and Melissa were great characters as well. Honestly I am invested in each character but I won't list them all down lol. Gregory is Chris from Everybody Hates Chris - and it took me about 2 episodes to recognize him - he still has the exact same expressions. I love how all the characters just have great chemistry with each other, love the comedic timing and delivery, and how they shine a light on the issues of schooling systems. Abbott Elementary has already wormed its way in my 'comfort shows' list, so I hope it sticks around for a long time.
