tim explaining how hes managed to keep the operator at bay for so long. him and jay both convincing alex its possible to survive without infecting others. jay practically convincing himself as he jumps at the chance to save his friend. and alex listening, slowly fighting off the static in his head. as he does, the clarity forces him to remember what hes done. and how unnecessary it all was. how it never had to be this way. and the guilt that started with sarah and was shut out after amy comes crashing down on him all at once. his body practically gives out on him, collapsing and shaking into both tim and jay who hold him through the quiet but drawn out keening sounds of grief that fill the house. without the operator fueling his anger and paranoia, alex is left so weak he cant even scream or sob. but hes not alone. he doesnt feel cold anymore, like he has been since amy. tim and jay keep him warm, hold him until he passes out. tim finds alexs gun and takes all the bullets out before taking a short drive to the nearest lake and tossing it in. when he gets back, he and jay take the dirty sheets off the bed and carry alex to it. the three of them share the bed, covered in all the blankets tim could find. alex sleeps between the two of them, but every so often his body begins trembling again.

Yes literally this is the vision. Just a slow but steady recovery from absolute rock bottom. Somewhere towards the beginning, Jay managed to set his camera down. Focused more on the present, less worried about losing his memory again. And, at least sure now, that if he did, Tim and Alex would find him. He’s sure they would. Because they curl up in bed together every night, and trade off who’s in the middle based off who’s the shakiest (though that tends to be alex most nights). They make breakfast in the mornings and start a pot of coffee to share and Tim even manages to get a job again. It becomes quaint and soft and domestic and safe

Its the kind of life none of them originally expected for themselves but after all they had been through, they wouldn’t want anything else.

So I constantly joke about Jaylex being a whole ass situation-ship for majority of my stuff and it it could also be implied here that's the case but actually they’re exes! Jay and Alex dated for a bit before they broke up for a multitude of reasons and then Alex got into a relationship with Amy. Jay and Alex’s relationship broke off a while before auditions for Marble Hornets (does a comical big thumbs up)

Jam is also canon to the mythical au but it's sorta more depressing as they don't really have a label to put on what the two of them are. It's romantically, definitely, but neither are sure if they want to ask. They eventually do just sorta settle on ‘i guess we’re together now’ there's a lot more to it but that's a basic summary without getting too ranty about it :3

One of my biggest ships is Jamlex, but only in an after au I have. I understand that the three of them together is very toxic in actual marble hornets, but people need to remember that everyone in mh is a victim. While what most of Alex did isn’t right, I believe he deserves some peace, and that means being with his two boyfriends who are all getting help (both together and separately.)

I would love to go into more detail about it, but I don’t want to make this too long.

This is also just my opinion on this ship, if people don’t like it I understand !!

Can i just. That whole jaylex dynamic. But the addition of Tim into it. They all hang out one weekend, and then start teasing hints of this fucked up game they like to play sometimes. Getting Tim both freaked out and interested by it. He thinks Jay and Alex are both like, super fucked in the head to think chasing each other around with knives is fun (they havent told him that each time ends with fucking crazy sex), but Tim can also admit that the idea of maybe getting in on that is like. Just obviously super fucking hot. Maybe he tags along the next, and instead of just having a knife and zipties, he’s got a whole fucking horror movie mask to wear. Which gets Alex hard pretty much immediately.

so he digs his old buck knife out from when he was living alone and paranoid as hell and finds the mask he wore to brians halloween party last year while hes there (remembers how alex looked at him, looked at the screen during the first halloween movie, decides he'll wear it) and takes his ass down to the woods and discovers hes really fucking good at tracking alexs footsteps in the dark, keeping silent as he follows. at getting up behind him soundlessly and pressing the knife gently to his kidney, whispering for him to hold still if he knows whats good for him before he whistles for jay. pulling alex against his chest to lift up his shirt and drag the blade over his bare skin, asking if alex is really hard or the lights playing tricks on him.

he gets his answer after jay appears out of the dark, after tims forced alex down in the dirt and held him still for jay to get a ziptie around his wrists and mock him for struggling so much when he knows by now its just gonna get him more hurt in the end. jays feeling him up, pretending to check him for weapons, and when he grabs alexs crotch he laughs, calls him a sick fuck. asks tim if he wants to have a little fun with him before they kill him. since the little sluts practically begging for it.

Because like I also ship polyhornets and I'm a multishipper, and in my years in the fandom I haven't really seen anyone bashing any ships, so I doubt that the ship is as embarrassing as you may feel. So now I'm just kinda interested in what it is

I’ve talked about this a little bit before in a different ask, but the ship I personally really like is jamlex (jay, Alex, and Tim)

I think the reason I don’t like saying it is because in some scenarios them being together isnt the BEST (mostly in the later marble hornets years, when shit was at its most dangerous) and I don’t like shipping them during that time, but in after aus and possibly even before mh, I think it’s a good ship.

I like to believe their all getting the help they need, and I want to give Alex some peace. Their whole relationship is very thought out in my head, and I know it’s not peoples first ship, but i like it in my own ways : )
