Amelia was born and raised in Seattle to two alcoholic parents who didn’t care much for her. They ignored her a lot until they realized how great of a dancer she was. At the age of three, they put her into dancing classes. All throughout the years of dancing, she had competed in many dace competitions, ballet being her top category of dance, she collected a lot of trophies and winnings and was well known at her young age. She was a happy, determined, hard working kid and didn’t let her parents get in her way. When she was 15 years old, her parents both had too much to drink and they were driving her home when they got into a car accident, killing both of them on impact and putting Amelia immediately into foster care. Once she moved to and from foster homes, her life turned for the worse. Now 16 years old, Amelia had just moved into a foster group home for girls in Portland, Oregon and the kids at the high school constantly teased her for being a dancer…she failed classes and eventually dropped out, turning to drugs as they kept her alive. She had no positive mindset, all she wanted to do was get high and win more dance/ballet competitions.

At 18 years old, she was kicked out of the dance academy for failing multiple drug tests and not wanting to go back to the group home for girls, she decided to be homeless and found a strip club to dance at. She was a very popular stripper and many people loved her. She used her dance skills and flexibility to the test here and while she wasn’t the best in the beginning, she found herself easing more into the job as time went on. Amelia made money by stripping and nights when she wasn’t on the pole, she was bartending. She didn’t have much experience with making drinks but she was going to do anything to make money. While she was doing great with both jobs, she constantly felt ashamed of herself…she never thought she would become a stripper. She knew it was one of the only ways to make money to not live on the streets anymore, that was until she found a waitressing job at the local diner.

She was thankful that no one recognized her from the strip club or her cam girl job and while waitressing helped her from living off the streets, she was still disappointed in herself. With nights off from work, Amelia went out for drinks, dancing and went home with a lot of men. Some of the nights out turned into dates and while the men were fun to have sex with and be around, all she wanted was the attention they gave her and didn’t think about what the real thing could be like. Love. Love was something she never really thought about until she met a man who seemed to really care for her. The sex was great, they laughed and had fun on dates and he made her feel special. After a few months of being together, he told her that he was falling in love with her and while most women would react happily, she was scared and she ran. She didn’t know what love was and she was scared to truly let someone in, to let someone know everything about her.

Amelia packed up her things and got back on the road traveling around different states, to find new adventures. Not having any solid destination, she drove and drove for miles on end, stopping in as many states as she could and meeting new people along the way. It took her a few years to settle down in one place until one day, she found herself in a little city located on the Rocky Mountain range, Bradford Springs, Colorado. Amelia found it quaint and welcoming so she decided to get a small apartment downtown and get a bartending job at the local nightclub, Decades. She has been living in the city for two years now and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime soon. She often thinks about what it would be like to dance again, having that passion to compete or even teach, but the pain that came from the sport was unbearable and how it lead to her darkness. She is now slowly trying to find who she is and who she wants to be.

Background:

Sophia, original werewolf and momma bear to many has a tendency to take in orphaned children of wolves or untriggered wolves who perished. She takes them in and raises them as her own. It’s something that she has been doing for the better part of the last 500 years. Loving and very tentative she loves these children with everything she has and some day they go out into the world. Your character would have lost their parent at some point in their lives (they could have been a baby or early adolescents) and came to live with Sophia and the Greyson pack. The background is really pretty open and I would absolutely love to discuss any ideas you might have and talk through head canons of your characters childhood with the Greyson family.

A couple ideas:  -Parents could have been killed during the supernatural war and so they’ve been living in Hollow Grove with Sophia ever since.  -Single Momma who was friends with Sophia and she passed away young and Sophia stepped in to raise the baby.

Finally recently, during the blood moon, your character was kidnapped by the Clave and the Greysons have been trying to get them back ever since. At the end of September Sophia joined her sister Daralis and they got your character back from the clave and brought them back to Hollow Grove. What they went through in the several months they were held captive is up to you. They could have been a wolf who was turned into a vampire during that time or other terrible things could have happened and now they are back trying to deal with the after math of that.

Second-in-Command of Hollow Grove Police Department/Chief Deputy

Background:

Largely up to player in terms of family, how they came to Hollow Grove and anything outside of the job. For a short career rundown, Colton is the Sheriff/Chief of the Hollow Grove Police Department and has been since 2011. He first joined HGPD in 1998. Your character would’ve joined around the same time and the two would’ve gone through the ranks together, eventually becoming partners as detectives. When the last sheriff was killed in 2011 Colton became the next sheriff. Your character would’ve been promoted by Colton to be the chief deputy in 2011 as well. The two are friends, they aren’t just coworkers that never talk outside of the job. Your character is the person that Colton goes to the most in HGPD. If your character is a werewolf they can both be members of the Greyson pack together too!

Since May 2016, after a murder of a vampire at the Town’s Masquerade Ball, HGPD has been on high alert. Everything that’s happened since can be found on the town’s timeline page that I’ve linked here, so I’d give that a look to be up-to-date on all the trouble that’s occurred. The person behind the murders, a witch named Cecile, was caught but since then the re-exposure of supernatural’s to humans and resurfacing of the Clave has caused continued tensions. Colton always makes sure there’s plenty of security at each event and your character would be part of planning that. I’d love to brainstorm and plot out any more specifics to give you room to build the character the way you’d like!cently.

Colton tends to bury himself in work, lets stress build up when there’s a serious threat the Hollow Grove is facing and tries to carry all the weight on his shoulders so he doesn’t burden others. So any sort of personality that would play against that well. I’m down to plot out ideas!
