Hatte ich gar nicht mehr in Erinnerung -The Throw von Jagwar Ma. Wurde mir dank BBC 6 Music in Erinnerung gerufen und ist in den 10 Jahren seit der Veröffentlichung auf dem Album Howlin gut gealtert. Weiß nicht, ob es Jagwar Ma noch gibt - letze Veröffentlichungen datieren aus 2016 - falls ja wäre ein neues Album sicherlich eine gute Idee. Falls nein könnten die Bandmembers ja über eine Reunion nachdenken.

Races of Magus of the Library: the Hyron

The following is part of a post originally compiled on reddit by /u/atlathing, and edited by the webmaster for clarity. Refer to the introduction post for info about commentary and sources.

Classification: Istayuv Family

Formed by the mingling of Jagwa and Hydiah, became the dominant peoples as they managed to avoid most of the suffering caused by the Emissary of Wormwood [volume 2 endnotes] The introduction of several Hydiah characters is something to note

Native to the vast, arid expanses, exhibiting light brown skin and rounded ears; implies other subclassifications are similar excepting skin shade or hair color

"Hyron" means "the noble ones" in their native tongue

Bonus section: the Hydiah (ハイダ, "Haida")

As per atla's commentary above, the Hydiah being distinguished as their own ethnicity among the Hyron is notable, especially now that their place in history has been further fleshed out in chapter 26. Despite predating the formation of the Hyron identity for some time, their number is few compared to their majority cousins, small enough that some families seemingly choose to sire a large number of children. Their distinguishing feature is their brown, almost reddish hair (though from cover art it's closer to a burnt umber?).

So far, only three named Hydiah characters have been introduced:

Sumomo Kavishmaf (kafna trainee, Theo's roommate, endlessly affrighted by girls; pictured above)

Anzu Kavishmaf (kafna of the liaisons office, seven-years-prior-Amun-visitor, angry-snake-summoner; also pictured above)

Sae Fumis (kafna trainee, conspicuous lint conjurer, inconspicuously absent since her introduction in chapter 16)
