Ohhhhh I had a thought.

Its clear time marches on outside the Constant, and while its not as obvious of discrepancy with the adults, it would definitely be obvious with the kids. Jack would be pretty shocked to see that Wendy hadn't aged a day since she disappeared who-knows-how-long ago.

It would be shocking for Jack but I don't doubt he would greet her with the love he has always had for her child. . . At least that's what I think Wendy would dream about
