• klance heading to lance's room after dinner

• they've been dating for about a week now

• keith has his mind set on them both cuddling as soon as they get there

• so he plops down on the bed and is like

• "can we cuddle now? :)"

• lance declines the offer because

• "ever since we've gotten together i've been lacking on taking care of my skin so i need to get back on track. you don't want a boyfriend who doesn't know how to take care of his skin properly, do you?"

• keith just grumbles, talking bitterly about his routine

• leading lance to inform keith on the importance of skin care

• all while taking care of his caramel colored skin

• keith just watches, impatiently, pouting

• after what feels like forever, lance is done, his face mask applied

• he offers if keith wants to wear one too

• keith doesn't exactly want to, but seeing lance give him that warm smile made his heart choose for him

• lance ties keith's bangs back, his smile widening at how cute keith looked

• he craddled his face in his hands, smothering his forehead in kisses

• keith obviously, gets flustered by it

• he nudges lance, threatening to stab him if he didn't cut it out

• lance laughs, continuing on with taking care of keith's skin

• letting him look in the mirror once done

• keith blinks and says: "i look like an alien."

• "maybe because you are one, sunshine."

• lance earns another nudge, a harder one this time

• wearing face mask aren't exactly keith's cup of tea, but it made lance happy, that he was participating on something he enjoyed doing

• it made keith feel proud of himself

• and yes, klance did get to cuddle

• i can assure you that they did not get out of bed until late in the afternoon

Klance calls each other starlight and sunshine!!!! Everyone can fight me on this. Their red/blue, sun/moon dynamic DEMANDS THEY CALL EACH OTHER SUNSHINE/STARLIGHT and I love that it's Keith who gets the sunshine nickname even tho he's usually so broody, bc I bet this man can't help but smile like the sun when he's around Lance and that's fucking poetic right there

Also oh my goodness Keith is a total simp— he would 100% reluctantly agree to the face masks just so that he can have Lance's undivided attention and bask in a sea of kisses 😤😤😤
